Next to Racour station is the cabin of the piochers or railway workers. In the past, railway workers used this‘ barrack ’to store their materials, to eat their sandwiches or even to stay asleep. The 3-metre by 3-metre classified building was completely rebuilt in 2015 in wooden scaffolding and masonry. It is now furnished as a comfortable tractor cabin for 2 people. There are free bikes at our guests disposal!

The stay was absolutely fantastic! The place was exactly as described – clean, cozy and equipped with everything you might need. The location was perfect: quiet, but still well connected. I would especially like to highlight the hospitality - the host was very friendly, helpful and quick to reach. I felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Very clear recommendation!

Th cabin is secluded and peaceful, surrounded by animals and nature. With the clear instructions provided upon booking it is easy to come well prepared and not miss anything. The cabin itself was also well prepared. Sitting on the deck in the evenings watching the sheep, geese, herons, ducks and other animals was lovely. Really a great place to stay!
