It has been optimally renovated with high-quality materials and is a beautiful home for 5 people plus 1 small child who want to enjoy the high altitude above the Moselle valley. The vacation home is centrally located but quiet in the middle of the village. Restaurants and bike rentals are available. Kirchberg is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours, climbing, exploring the suspension rope bridge or visiting natural and adventure pools.

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. The holiday home is located about 900 meters from the historic old town of Bernkastel. You can reach it on foot in about 15 minutes via an adjacent footpath/cycle path directly on the Moselle or a forest hiking trail, which is also directly adjacent to the accommodation. In the old town there are numerous restaurants, bakeries, a small grocery store and other shops. In the Kues district you will also find an Edeka, Rewe, Aldi or Lidl.
