Grandpa Battistino's Happy Home

The house is located at the entrance of Apricale in an enviable location that allows you to directly admire the village. The apartment is located in a beautiful villa consisting of two floors all in Ligurian stone. The main features of the "Felice casa di nonno Battistino" are its brightness combined with a priceless view of the town of Apricale and the green of the surrounding hills. The apartment is about 80 square meters and consists of a large living room (with TV) with kitchen (fully equipped with dishwasher) and dining area, a large bathroom with shower, two bedrooms and a closet with washing machine. There are 4 beds, but the comfortable sofa can also accommodate an extra person. The bedroom and living room also have a balcony. The kitchen is directly connected to the outdoor area where you can safely have breakfast and then have lunch at a lovely wrought iron table located on a private terrace that is part of the apartment. In the amenities included in the house you will always find clean sheets and towels. The large spaces are ideal for families with children, but also for couples looking for a relaxing vacation. In summer, most of life can be lived outdoors. I'll be there for anything you need! In front of the house is the Apricus bar which offers you free access to Wi-Fi, while the sea is only about 13 kilometers away and Nice airport about 60. Apricale has been elected one of the most beautiful villages in Italy because of its architectural structure characterized by narrow alleys and stone houses. The village always offers the opportunity to participate in theatrical and musical events. If you want, during the fall you can also participate in the harvesting of Taggiasca olives in the countryside of our property, which is a 10-minute drive from the house in an uncontaminated and quiet environment! The entrance to the village is conveniently located 50 meters from the house The apartment was completely renovated in August 2018 respecting its history and features (you will find floors with different types of tiles from the early twentieth century and wooden doors with period frames), but renovating and modernizing everything (new electrical system up to code and independent heating). The main color is white, which is accompanied by different shades of gray. Guests will have access to the terrace for outdoor dining and also to a large garden with shared fruit plants. For any problem, the neighbor who lives under the happy home of grandfather Battistino will be able to help you and will show you walks and what to do in the village and in the beautiful surroundings! Around the house are all the main points of interest and above all there is an enviable view of the village! Välkommen till mitt charmiga byhus som ligger mitt i 1200-tals byn Apricale , 2 minuter från byns Piazza. Huset är byggt på höjden. Tre våningar med kök längst ner, vardagsrum på mellanplanet med bäddsoffa och utgång till balkong, högst upp vackert sovrum med underbar utsikt från franska balkonger. We loved Florian's house and were sad to leave it! The location is unique because it is immersed in nature. The sea view is magnificent, but there is also the mountain rock and the many trees with all the birdsongs that make you feel out of time, or rather in an older time, with the sound of bells in the distance. The house is very contemporary and very comfortable. Everything is perfectly arranged and equipped. Every part of the house is pleasant both outside and inside. Florian was very friendly and concerned with making sure we had everything we needed. Really very relaxing and exotic stay!

Casa francese became our home for a soft Italian week. We went with little expectation and no research on montegrazie or imperia and found ourself in a very welcoming corner of Italy filled with sun and love. The appartment was comfortable and felt homey very soon. It is artistic, minimal, spacey and beautiful. We had an amazing view to the church in the front hill from our room that I will never forget.

Beautiful house equipped with every comfort in a wonderful area. We were greeted by Tiziano (cohost) and Olga (his wife) who made us find pizza, focaccia, Genoese cake and fresh water in the fridge. House in a quiet area with a thousand possibilities for visits to wonderful villages in the surroundings. At the exit, as if the welcome received was not enough, we were paid tribute to one of the beautiful compositions of succulents made by Olga that decorate the garden and the house and a bottle of wine. Timely and accurate explanations and always present when we needed them. You can't miss an experience like this

Renovated Olive Mill next to River

We had a very pleasant time in the old oil mill. The house, the garden and the entire surroundings were extraordinarily beautiful. We particularly liked the proximity to the center of Ceriana, which could be reached on a beautiful footpath. There you could get the most necessary things in one of the two small supermarkets. We were very happy to sit outside in one of the two bars in the evening and watch the lively hustle and bustle around us. The locals were incredibly nice and approachable. Since the temperatures were still in the moderate range, we took some very nice bike tours directly from the house. The roads leading into the mountains are narrow, but they are not heavily trafficked. This is certainly different in the high season. However, there are many steep uphill sections and an e-bike is recommended for those who are not absolutely fit. We were able to safely park our car in the lower part of the house.
