Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bethesda

Absolutely perfect for our 2-night stay with our adult son! The space was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. Though it’s a basement apartment, it felt totally private and peaceful. The living area was huge—with a ping pong table, bar seating, and a sectional big enough to sleep two. The hosts also provided comfy twin mattresses that worked great for our son. 1.5 baths made things super convenient for the three of us, and check-in was a breeze. We never saw the hosts in person but felt completely taken care of—super responsive and thoughtful. Plus, Hyattsville is an awesome, safe little town with fun bars, restaurants, and easy access to DC. We’ll 1000% stay here again!

We loved staying here. Quiet, central location near the zoo and cathedral. So nice to get away from the tourist hordes of the national mall. We felt right at home in this clean, comfortable apartment. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

This is a great place. Its sunny, easy to access, parking was great. The bed was very comfy. We had a good stay.

LeeAnn's place was amazing. It was a short drive to Nationals Park. The house made our concert trip comfortable when we spent the night. I highly recommend this place whether it's one night or four.

Nice neighborhood, quiet, tree-lined street. Vered and Devir were very responsive! Also nice -- they offered (unsolicited) to let me check out later than check out time since they weren't going to have place cleaned until next day. Also provided bottled water and snacks, a nice touch! Can't speak to walkability to restaurants, stores, etc. since I had many different places to go and used my car a lot. My only (minor) issue was that I didn't find the pillows to be comfortable. But there's a cool area nearby called "Pike & Rose" with shops and restaurants.

Danielle was extremely helpful and gracious as a hostess and communication back and forth was seamless. It was exactly what my band and I needed for a couple day stop on our tour. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful place with cozy spaces for everyone in our family to relax in. Was peaceful and private yet close enough for a visit into DC. Would stay here again if in the area!

Really enjoyed our stay at Gillian and Boe’s property. The property is eclectic, comfortable and pristine. The garden is lush and wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful delight that it is. The location is great in the Arts district and close to some fabulous restaurants.

A quiet space with lovely garden view, just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive, quick to address the minor issues I had, and friendly without being intrusive. In addition to the many good points mentioned in reviews by previous guests, I especially appreciated the nightlights in the apartment and the outdoor lighting along the walkway. I hope this place is available the next time I'm in the area!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location—close to everything I needed. The amenities were thoughtful and well-maintained, and the host was kind and responsive throughout.

My partner and I both stayed here during my visit to MD. I absolutely loved this home. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. The beds and blankets were so soft and it was a peaceful stay with our own entrance/exit. Denise was extremely kind and helpful, even reassuring me when I accidentally broke a magnet clip. My partner and I adore this home and will be staying here again if its available for our next trip. Here is what my partner had to say: Okay so some things i wanted to talk about: the catering was LOVELY. Great assortment of snacks and even a delicious maryland pastery that I didnt know existed (as a maryland native) Such clean, caring, and kind people that really did think of everything. One little note, if you are tall at all, there is a hanging lamp in the living room. Do NOT walk with your head down. Or you will bump into it. I had some close calls being 6'3 haha. Not a demerit on there end but something to be cautious of nonetheless!

Wonderful stay! Elizabeth was quick to answer questions and made sure we had a great stay. Lovely place, had everything we needed and more. I was so thankful to have a washer and dryer since we had been traveling for so long. Elizabeth even had a washing machine pod for us. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at Smirna's place with my fiance and sister for a few days and it worked well for three adults. The space was comfortable, well equipped, and very well maintained. Check-in was a breeze. The location is an easy drive from the Dulles airport and has good access to the highway into downtown DC as well as the DC metro and a number of nice suburban communities. The spot was perfect for us and I would recommend it to other travelers.

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

Idalma was a very great host. Beautiful property filled with green space. There are places to go for entertainment very close by. Also is very peaceful at night! Highly recommend and will happily book again in the near future!

Such a nice off the grid spot with access to great food and restaurants within a short drive, the location was very peaceful and had one of the cleanest portable restrooms I’ve ever used.

Great place to stay! Lots of wildlife- birds, turtles, deer, rabbits, etc. Location is very quiet and serene but not far from suburbs which have gas, food, restaurants, ect. Host was FANTASTIC to deal with. Highly recommend the place and these hosts. My only complaint is that we didn’t spend enough time at the house.

Very responsive host who answered all my questions in a timely manner as I was traveling with a baby and had many questions. The place is just as seen on the pics, minimalistic with two beds and two tables, a TV. It was like glamping but with AC and electricity. AC was working well, There is a fire pit, a bbq and outdoor eating space so we were able to cook outside but have to bring your own cookware. The bathroom was clean and nice hot showers within 2 min walk. Her family was very nice and our little kids played together. Overall a great experience.

Loved staying at this AirBnB. Great host! Very responsive! First AirBnB I've stayed at actually offered the second "B" of BnB --breakfast, if you like. And you can buy truly fresh eggs from their chickens on the property! AND...walkable to one of my favorite wineries, Paradise Springs!! Lovely place. Lovely host. I will be coming back!

Reagan's place was so charming and perfect for our getaway! Everything was exactly as described. I appreciated the secluded and cozy nature of the cabin, but also the proximity to restaurants, stores and hiking trails. I highly recommend this cabin, and hope to return on a future getaway.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! Shannon was very responsive to any questions and helped us when some problems came up. Would 100% book again.
