Access to sauna (£10 a session) Privately set in a paddock, ideally located to explore Snowdonia and the beautiful Anglesey beaches. 7 miles from both the royal town of Caernarfon with it's castle and Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon. Snowdon Lodge sleeps up to 4 guests. Sleeping arrangements are one double bedroom (4’6” standard double bed) one single bedroom with two small single beds (2’2” beds) Prices are based on two sharing. Theres an open plan lounge/diner & kitchen area with views over the river. CAUTION 19 september 2025 The decking at the rear has been damaged and is not safe to walk on therefore it’s currently out of bounds Please don’t walk on it. I am trying to get it fixed I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

If you're just looking to relax, it's perfect for couples who want to enjoy the stunning views of Y Garn and the tranquility of Rhyd Ddu with it's tea shop and local pub serving great food, within walking distance.

Access to the Welsh Highland Railway from the station in the village, its a short ride to the picturesque village of Beddgelert or to the historic town of Caernarfon.

The quiet side of Snowdon. Bryn Derwen is close (2 miles & 3 miles respectively) to the start of the Snowdon Ranger & Rhyd Ddu paths to the summit - without the crowds! Bryn Derwen is a self catering, mid terraced cottage, between Caernarfon and Beddgelert in the Snowdonia National Park. It is spacious with dining/kitchen & pantry, south facing sitting room, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. The gardens front & back, offer superb views of river & mountains and the Welsh Highland Railway.

This turf covered cabin is a blend of Viking longhouse and underground hobbit hideaway. It's in a beautiful spot in our orchard between the mountains and the sea on our small permaculture farm. Experience camping fire cooking, and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a kitchen, hot water, shower compost toilet and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.

With stunning views of Snowdon the cottage has the Rhyd Ddu path, the Welsh Highland steam railway, Y Garn & Nantlle ridge on its doorstep. The cottage was refurbished in 2017 to a high standard. There are 2 wood burners, fully equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & microwave. Excellent WIFI, Sky Q, walking guide books. Included is an initial supply of kindling, paper and logs. The Cwellyn Arms pub is just a few steps away.

Cosy Hiker’s Cottage at the bottom of Snowdon

Our cottage is the perfect base for those looking to tackle Snowdon, walk in the Glyders or climb in the Llanberis Pass or Llanberis’ slate quarries. Ideally situated between Llanberis and the Pen y Pass car park, and only 200m from the park and ride for easy access to two of Snowdon’s most popular paths, or to Llanberis (£2 one way or £3 return - you can also pay by card now).
