Our second visit. Really enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. A peaceful location and we feel at home. Especially enjoyed the welcome pack. Thank you Ross and we will be back next year.

We had a great long weekend stay here to celebrate a special birthday. The weather was good so the grandchildren made full use of the pool, huge garden and tennis court - as did some of the adults. House was very clean and well equipped. Very peaceful and secluded setting - everyone said they would love to come back again.

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

We had a wonderful (albeit brief) stay at Jane’s beautiful home! The space was spotless, stylish, and so comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool was a real highlight, and we’re already looking forward to coming back and making the most of it next time. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned due to personal reasons, but Jane was incredibly understanding and kind about our situation. She was a fantastic host throughout—thoughtful, responsive, and welcoming. A special thank you for the delicious-looking marmalade waiting for us on arrival! We can’t wait to enjoy it at breakfast. Highly recommend Jane’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful and lovely escape. We hope to return soon!

The barn was beautiful, we had such a lovely stay. The decor was stunning and there was lots of special touches that made our stay more comfortable. Michelle was very good at communicating with us and the main owner of the barn met us on out first day and gave us lots of useful information regarding the barn the sites and walks around the area. We would definitely love to come back in the future.

A really unique place in lovely grounds. As a family with young children the facilities made the stay for us. The Wing itself is nice full of character in terms of the architecture and decor. The place was clean, comfortable beds, kitchen had the essentials. Only thing I’d say is the bathroom and kitchen could do with a simple modernisation but really nothing to worry about, everything worked fine. The family say they would return so that’s the ultimate verdict.

This is an accurately described, beautiful home in idyllic countryside. The house is spacious and very stylishly furnished with vintage furniture and artwork. Ideally there would be one or two more bathrooms with showers - we knew this before staying of course - it just means more planning of showering with a larger group of people staying. We especially loved relaxing in the garden room with the gorgeous views of the garden and rolling hills beyond. We were incredibly lucky with the weather so definitely made the most of having a pool and pizza oven and BBQ. And we picked fresh figs off the tree by the pool, delicious! The kids loved the trampoline and table tennis. Enzo was great and prompt at communicating with us. We appreciated the local recommendations - we enjoyed lunch at the Jolly Sportsman, coffee at Cafe du Jardin and a mooch around all the antiques shops in Lewes. A very comfortable house to enjoy with three generations of our family.

We had an extremely pleasant time during our stay. While booking I didn’t realize that there was no cooking range at the accomodation . We wanted some eggs for breakfast, Miles was extremely helpful. He made some mouth watering scrambled eggs for us. Thank you Miles for that.. really appreciate it . The surrounding place is extremely peaceful and scenic. We had a lovely four night stay with our kids. The gardens were very special and we especially enjoyed the outside BBQ and dining space. The house is in a wonderful setting - very peaceful and right next to the train station to Rye and Hastings (ideal if you don't love country roads).

Well, when I opened the door to this beautiful home, I couldn’t quite believe it. A house/a home that has clearly been lovingly designed for spaciousness and for every comfort. The beautiful large marble tiles that run Dow the centre of the house, with lounge and bedrooms off to the left with a beautiful kitchen/dining area and next a wonderful bathroom with toilet bath and shower to the highest spec. There is also a toilet and hand basin in a little room next at the end and a lovely garden out the back. Simply wonderful. Thank you Wade and Hollie for letting us enjoy your home for the day.

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect! The only downside was parking and the narrow street is generally jammed packed so had to park a few streets away. Aside from that we had a wonderful time (and very grateful for coffee machine). We were in Hastings for my mother’s funeral and this lovely home provided a safe and comforting environment to come home to. Thank you for a fantastic stay 💕

Cleo was great host, responsive and kind. Excellent location, we loved staying right on the beach. It was nice being in a quiet little town, but having several options nearby that bigger beach towns have available. Our only complaint was the road coming in was pretty rough, but Cleo can’t change that.

Wendy-Jane was an exceptional host, her home was beautiful and very cozy, with a gorgeous and very friendly cat. We loved the surroundings and the scenery. Wendy had a stunning selection of books on her shelves and CDs in her collection. The home was perfect for us, and we would love to return. The hot tub is an great addition and it was lovely to chill out in at the end of the day. There's lots to do in the surrounding area with a very charming in right opposite the house and another pub down the road with an abadondoned castle next door. And a short drive from both Hastings and Eastbourne made for a perfect weekend get away!!

Lovely property and beautifully furnished. Good communication from David and clear instructions. Worth keeping in mind that the parking is a little walk away and you end up losing your space when you go on day trips to Rye or Battle - though there is more free parking the further up the hill you go :)

The house was lovely, very clean, all just as expected from the pictures and details provided. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was all just very easy. We would happily stay again!

I highly recommend this lovely property. It is very convenient for pubs and restaurants and all that Rye has to offer. We made use of the little area with table and chairs at the back of the property to drink a cup of tea and there is a lovely place just next door which did an excellent afternoon tea. I loved the bath in the bedroom- such a treat!

Very clean, great welcoming, lovely breakfast left, however the surrounding area wasn’t ideal for two small kids. BUT the kids loved the animals.

We really enjoyed our stay at Angela's. Their home is just beautiful and our space was was quiet and private. Loved the way they have created a unique space. Great value for money with so much space offered. The bed was so comfy and the sea view bath was divine. Lots of lovely extras like milk and fesh coffee was well received. Our dog was welcome but you wouldn't know dogs are welcome there. We were offered some nice close by places to walk her. And a quick route into Hastings. The Lidl around the corner was great too. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

A great Airbnb in Hastings - close to the rest of town, large and with excellent ameneities. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds, the shower I used was one of the best I've ever used, and the area was fairly quiet after about 10/11pm. An excellent choice.

We head down to the Sussex coast for a family weekend. It was built around a gift of a visit to Tillingham winery. Castle Fort matched our expectations perfectly…. Sea views and sounds, huge open planning living area, very appointed…. A home from home by the sea It was practically perfect. We had one small hiccup. I think we were the first guests for quite a while and the water system pressure was low, which challenged us on the first night but Georgina stepped up and we solved the problem This is a perfect spot if you want to explore the delights of Rye, what a find Very comfortable with everything you could ever want in a holiday let Definitely will return

We had a great stay at Harriette’s place! A remote location, very peaceful with lovely views. We enjoyed sitting just outside the barn in the morning with a cup of tea too! The barn was really clean and had everything you’d need for a couple of nights stay. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, very high spec and comfortable. Harriette was super responsive and a great host, thank you! The lane leading up to the property had some large potholes which is worth knowing in advance, especially if you are deciding which car to drive. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day soon. Thank you, Harriette!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at The Pump. The photos do not do it justice, the property is beautiful and full of light. We were only there for two nights but it felt like a home from home and we would've stayed much longer if we could. Very welcoming hosts, there was wine, bread, marmalade, etc. for us on arrival which was lovely. Lots of board games to keep you busy even in the rain. The wood burning hot tub is an obvious perk, and Brian was very responsive and proactive with keeping it at the perfect temperature for us. We would recommend to anyone hoping for a relaxing escape to the country. Thank you very much to Brian and Francesca for making it such a memorable stay.

The property is well located in a peaceful area. As it is a fairly new road, the address didn't come up on Google maps, but we were given clear directions to the property. The house is nicely furnished with enough seating in the lounge and around the dining table for 6 people. The house is very well equipped - David has thought of everything. 😊 Leading up to our stay, we had a few queries and David responded to these very quickly. All in all a very good stay.
