Excellent apartment at a reasonable price. The metro station is right next to the building. The host was very responsive — I really enjoyed my stay!

Bülent place is the cleanest Airbnb we have stayed in, the towels, sheets and comforters smells really good. When you turn on the air conditioner you feel a clean air coming out. Him and his brother are very helpful and they answer really fast. They helped us with our luggages and coordinate a van to the airport that gave us better price and comfort than if we get an uber. The location is amazing, many restaurants near the house and walking distance to Grand Bazar, Mezquita Azul and many other places. The neighborhood is a mix of tourists and local people and you get to know their culture better by being there. I will definitely come back to his place.

Among all the hosts I've met through Airbnb, he was by far the kindest. He allowed me to check in earlier than the scheduled time and told me I could ask for anything I needed during my stay. On my last day, he even treated me to a coffee downstairs. He was like a father figure — such a genuinely good person. The house was very clean and comfortable. I stayed for a total of 7 nights and 8 days, and if I ever return to this area, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for offering such a lovely place to stay. I stayed here for 6 weeks while I worked at a hospital nearby. The place is in a great location, with lots of cafes restaurants nearby. The house itself although quite small is lovely, cosy and clean. The view is amazing and the home was very well equipped for short term stays. I also felt very safe staying there as a solo female, security was great. Mehmet Selim was also very attentive and responsive. 10/10

A total 5 star experience all around The very best place and area to finish off our 3 weeks in Turkey Such a welcoming place to come home to after a day out exploring We had the added benefit of a rooftop terrace to enjoy our breakfast and then beer and snacks before heading out to the choice many restaurants in the area for dinner The pizzas at Pizzrotti are amazing and we had them delivered to our terrace !! Balat has it all and just a quick tram ride to the beating heart of Istanbul The apartment was so quiet The shower was amazing The beds were comfortable The kitchen was well stocked We had a gorgeous lounge to relax in An all over 5 star apartment I thoroughly recommend a stay here of at least 4 nights

What an experience it was! Truly surreal views and one of the most comfortable stays I’ve had. The house has got everything you’ll need during the stay. Mete is the most kindest host I’ve met. You made me feel like home. He has been very responsive and available anytime. Thank you, Mete for taking me around and showing me the neighbourhood. Sena was an excellent host! He was proactive, a great communicator, and went above and beyond to be sure we had what we needed. The location is very good - out of the touristy areas but easy access to local restaurants where we could eat an authentic meal for a reasonable price surrounded by locals. The apartment had everything we needed, including a GREAT drying rack, which was fantastic for our load of laundry. Everything was clean and in good working order. Thanks for the great stay!

I would like to thank Mr. Barış very much. He was very helpful with check-in times and dates. I would also like to thank him for his kindness. I would like to thank the friend who helped us at the entrance. Everything you need is abundantly available in the villa. The interior and garden were very clean. The site where the villa is located is a well-known and decent site, the garden and pool of the villa are very suitable for conservative families. I really recommend it to friends who are considering staying.

This place is in a ideal spot for exploring Istanbul. Walkable to blue mosque and grand bizarre, fabulous view across to Beyoğlu and the galata bridge and tower..view is worth it alone!!! Near to bus station, local shops and restaurants..has a rustic feel with old streets and locals. Transport system with Istanbul card is great value and nearby. Only drawback is the steep steps to the top of the apartment. Staircase is open at the top of the stairs as well in the apartment which could be quite precarious if not careful. Ahmed is very helpful and kind. Apartment basic but spotless!! Recommended
