House holiday rentals in Bilbao

An absolutely stunning property, with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home stay. Fantastic pool and pool house as well. Large kitchen/ dining/ living area meant that even with 8 adults staying it never felt crowded. Fresh baked goods left for our arrival as well as complementary toiletries. Tania and her husband were so helpful even arranging an early check in at the last minute. Genuinely is only 15 minutes drive from Bilbao and the beach, although bus stop is only a short walk away. Couple of restaurants in the local town are a short walk away. Comment from a past visitor about security cameras was over exaggerated, there is one camera pointing at the back of the garden and not into or around the house. Also felt very safe as there is the regional police headquarters behind the property 😂(but doesn’t overlook it at all). We will definitely be returning to this property and to beautiful Bilbao.

12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

A great stay. The house is in very good condition, it has a huge and very nice patio. It also has bicycles to do some route around the villages, which has beautiful views and a river very close. A place to stay again!!!

We thought the villa was perfect for our little girl's weekend! Local taxi firms were very accomodating over text message as we could not speak spanish so we were able to Google translate and message them. (uber doesn't work in this area) The local GoT attractions do require booking to visit - which we did not realise but that was due to our own lack of foresight. The host was amazingly responsive, the water system was running cold and she was there within 20 mins to reset the boiler to get us hot water and to help us understand the cooking system. The villa itself was beautiful and the surrounding area was so beautiful to just sit and enjoy. Plenty of space in the villa and multiple bathroom and showers for larger groups of people. I would mention that having a car is essential to stay here for the local shopping and the check out process of disposing of the bins down the road.

We were very comfortable in the accommodation. The house was impeccable, it had everything, towels, the kitchen was equipped with all the utensils, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had shampoo and gel. The truth is we rested and Magda was very kind.

Maria's house is very cozy and comfortable for large groups! Maria was available at all times for whatever we needed! The land was impressive and the beds comfortable. All the rooms had their own bathroom.

We had a wonderful week at Maria’s place! The house was perfect – clean, thoughtfully furnished, and ideal for us and our two toddlers. Everything we needed was there, and we felt at home from the very beginning. The location was great, and communication with Maria was always friendly and easy. Thanks to this lovely accommodation, our family vacation turned into a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

A wonderful old cottage on the edge of Arredondo, lovingly renovated. You have a wonderful view of the mountains when they are free of clouds or simply watch the clouds play on the mountain peaks. The covered terrace is ideal for an outdoor breakfast or dinner. We used it every day of the week to simply enjoy the view. The property is clean and well maintained. Since it is on a slope, you have to climb the mountain a bit. But certainly not a problem for hikers. A stream, the Ason, ripples below the property. Tall trees around the property, but they don't interfere. A very nice place to stay for 4 people. We would love to come again. Unfortunately, there are too many beautiful places waiting for us. Perfect place, the house is great, everything worked perfectly, the heating, the dishwasher, the fireplace, everything as described. Very good cleanliness, there were sheets and towels for the 9 we were. There were games for the little ones and a place to walk with the dogs. A lovely view of the mountain. I give it a 10.

We had a very pleasant few days at Conchi's house!! The cottage is right next to the beach, an incredible location!!!Conchi is very kind and super nice. I recommend it 100%!! We'll be back

We had a lovely stay at Maialen's place. It was the perfect location as we spent some time in San Sebastian, Urdaibai, and finished up our trip in Bilbao. The house had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed having breakfast and dinner at the outdoor table. Thanks, Maialen!

A great stay in the middle of nature. Iñaki and Ana are very attentive guests who make you feel at home. They provide you with countless recommendations to enjoy the area during your stay. The casita is perfect for spending a few days relaxing as a couple. Thank you for everything!

We travel with family, marriage and two teenagers, the palm house met all our expectations, the host, whenever needed was attentive. The impeccable cleanliness, living room and living area very spacious and comfortable. All very well equipped, kitchen with ample kitchen, full bathrooms. The home clothes, linens, and towels are spotless. Very nice views. Highly recommended.

Everything was wonderful, from the time I made the reservation, the reception and until we left. The location is perfect, a fairly quiet area and close to the beach. We loved it! My nephew remembers the accommodation, as the beautiful house.

We were in the accommodation for the second time and always feel at home. We'll be back.

We come from spending a spectacular weekend in the Merindades, in the incredible house of Raquel, first of all, to highlight that it was a surprise getaway for my partner, for her 30th birthday, from the beginning Raquel was a charming person, helping me in everything, offering me plans and help in anything that arose, she left us a letter with congratulations included and two chocolate muffins! The house is even better than in the photos. The garden is huge, with hammocks, a barbecue, plenty of space for our dog (he had a great vacation), many trees and shade, a porch with an unbeatable table for breakfast and dinner. The house inside is absolutely amazing, impossible not to fall in love with it. We loved every little detail! I don't want to say goodbye and recommend this house, without first thanking our host and telling you that Raquel is 10/10, her and the stay of course! Don't miss out on visiting Frías, Puentedey, Tobera and Ruinas de Rioseco!!

A very nice and comfortable house for a small family. We were very comfortable for three days, the house has the essentials so you don't miss anything in your stay. It is in a quiet area, you have to move about 8 min for super and places to eat. The house shares part of the jardin, but it has a trocito vallado por sias carry chuchos. In general I would recommend the stay if you want to move around the area, Cabarceno and Santander are about 20 min away.

Casa Merino is in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood in the mountains. In order to get into town (Castro Urdiales) and easily get to other areas of Cantabria, hiring a car or bringing your own is recommended. Pilar was very communicative and there to welcome us when we arrived. The house was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Pilar also readily answered queries during our stay and gave recommendations. We would happily recommend Casa Merino.

We have been very comfortable in Gloria's house. Mari, who welcomed us, was very pleasant, showed us the house and its facilities in detail. The house is fully equipped, and is perfect for disconnecting. A very peaceful place and wonderful scenery. We'll be back!

Perfect house with everything you need and the porch and garden of 10. The beds and the sofa are very comfortable. The location between the beaches and the village on a very quiet street in front of the golf course makes it an ideal place to disconnect. The enclosure is totally fenced so it was perfect to have the dog loose and enjoy it as much as we do. The owner has been attentive from the first moment. Undoubtedly a place to repeat.
