Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bilbao

What a wonderful stay we had in your beautiful home! There was everything we needed including a fabulous shower with good water pressure and tons of hot water. It was like having a home away from home. We stayed for 5 weeks and explored the entire Basque region by car, from Santander to Burgos to Pamplona to San Sebastian and Bearritz/Bayonne. This home is centrally located and Berango itself offers a nice small town neighborhood feeling. The metro is close by but we found driving into Bilbao more convenient. It's also close to some fine beaches. Garbiña is a terrific host -- very friendly, funny and caring. We hope to return again.

Raul was a very accommodating host. Communication was very good and queries were answered quickly, allowing us to check in a little early with our very tired baby. Everything had been thought of. There was a travel cot in the room, milk, pastries and hot and cold refreshments. The room was immaculate with lovely facilities and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was quiet but there were bars and cafes within walking distance and a lovely child friendly restaurant less than 5 minutes drive away. Would be first choice to stay again if in the area. Highly recommend.

Estupendo lugar y estupendo ambiente. Si quieres desconectar y vivir la cultura de la madera y de la eficiancia energética y otros valores en alza, este es un lugar inclreible. Un 10, todos vuelven por lo que hemos visto esos días. Gracias

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

Estoy valorando Bilbao. Te parece este texto? Amplio, bien situado, limpio,.. algo escaso de mobiliario salón (solo sofá sin sillones) y faltan utensilios de cocina para cocinar para seis personas (cubertería y loza solo para seis). Un perchero vendría bien para abrigos.

Maria's place made coming in from the day a restful delight. It is clean and bright, large windows with a balcony and very modern bathroom and kitchen. Being right in the heart of the old town, with the town square right around the corner, there are churches, marble cobble stone streets, flowered passageways, a lively marina and scenic lookouts with benches. Old Bermeo is a living time capsule.

Casita tranquila en medio del campo, en una zona muy verde. Todo correcto.

Sehr nettes Appartment, überaus gut ausgestattet, besonders die Küche. Obwohl in einer belebten Gasse, ist es nachts sehr ruhig (Innenhof). Haben die Gastgeberin zwar nicht persönlich getroffen, jedoch öfters mit ihr kommuniziert und immer gute Tipps und wertvolle Informationen bekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gut betreut gefühlt.

We had a wonderful stay in Bilbao, thanks to Laura's place. As our week continued, we learned more and more about how perfect the neighborhood was as a launching pad for the city--right on the river, lots of great restaurants (which Laura was generous in recommending) nearby, really close to the tram, across the bridge from the old town, walking distance to the funicular. I could go on & on. The apartment itself was well-stocked & very comfortable!

Lively location amid lots of restaurants, the apartment overlooks a bustling street but most of the sound is sealed off once the windows are closed. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Great open space that was very clean and nicely laid out.

We loved the apartment! Beautifully designed with the comforts of home. We could not have asked for better hosts. Fabrizio greeted us upon arrival, helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the apartment, along with super helpful restaurant suggestions. We recommend this lovely home wholeheartedly.

This place was cute and central, just across the pedestrian bridge from the newer part of Bilbao, and maybe 10 minutes one way to the old town and 10 minutes the other (and across the river) to the Guggenheim. A good respite post sightseeing/pre pinxtos,. A particular plus: behind decorative blinds are the built-in pull-down ones, which made it easy to sleep, even though it was super sunny starting around 5 am each day during our June stay. Belen and Jorge met us at the door with keys, were super helpful, and provided great tips for restaurants and things to do in the area.

Have just finished a four night stay in this cute apartment. Easy to find and live in with helpful instructions and tips from the hosts. Great location in the old town close to a lot of tourist sites and eateries. The apartment is one floor above a very busy corner with many bars. We loved the action and activity though it was pretty loud until 3 am on Saturday and Sunday morning. No louder than sleeping on a plane and no problem for us. Would happily return on a future visit. An amazing flat in a cool, highly walkable to everything location. High end shopping all around, and really great food options everywhere. Place is pristine, luxurious, big, well equipped, and such a good value. The hosts were quick to respond, accommodating, and kind. I'd a absolutely look to stay again.

Lovely apartment, very comfortable, great location equal distance to beaches and old town, lovely walks in every direction, it’s hilly but everywhere is! Only note is the terrace is on the front porch, quite pleasant and gets the sun but not secluded/private. Luis was a fantastic host and we would stay again.

Ana was incredibly helpful and responsive, the property was immaculately clean with everything we needed. You can either walk or use the nearby train station to go to the old town for some pinxos! Would stay here again, thank you Ana :)

Apartamento muy agradable, limpio y muy equipado. Perfecto para dos personas, el baño algo pequeño. Cocina muy equipada y moderna. Todo muy limpio. Laura siempre atenta, y resolutiva. Al lado de la playa, restaurantes y supermercados. A tener en cuenta que es un segundo sin ascensor, para gente con movilidad reducida no recomendable. El parking interior está bien, pero al no tener plazas designadas en momentos de mucha afluencia como verano o puentes te quedas sin sitio, y fuera es casi imposible aparcar, nosotros fuimos en puente y ya estaba a tope, así que en verano puede ser una locura. Volveria pero no en verano

Nous avons adoré l'accueil de Diana. Diana est une hôte absolument charmante, qui a à cœur d'accueillir les gens. L'appartement était très beau et lumineux, un lieu avec une âme! Il y avait beaucoup d'espace et les lits étaient confortables et propres. l'Internet était un peu difficile à faire fonctionner donc je ne recommanderais pas cet endroit pour faire du télétravail. Il n'y a pas de machine à laver. Autrement, l'appartement était très, très bien équipé et il y a un ascenseur, sauf pour les huit dernières marches. Il y a une épicerie, une buanderie, une fruiterie et plusieurs commerces à proximité. Nous avons eu de la facilité à nous stationner dans la rue avec les instructions de Diana. Le stationnement est gratuit les soirs et la fin de semaine, et payant le reste du temps. Toutefois, des rues sont gratuites tout près du logement. La plage et le centre-ville sont tout près aussi. Bref, un énorme merci à Diana, nous recommandons fortement ce logement! :)

Great location in the old town. Street to front of the building a bit noisy on weekend nights. 3 bedrooms to the rear are very quiet. Walking to a big selection of restaurants only takes minutes. Javier was very helpful & answered promptly for a few queries. Overall very pleased & would definitely recommend to friends & family.

Mercedes is super friendly, she met us and provided an overview of the apartment and area. The apartment was perfect for us, spotlessly clean and it had everything we required to for our stay. There is a supermarket just behind the apartment block, restaurants, bars etc a well established community. We were touring and the secure private parking is great. Location is perfect for exploring the coast and the nearby metro, less than 5 mins walk, makes it easy to explore Bilbao without driving.

Superfint boende med en mycket trevlig och hjälpsam värdinna! Magda skickade många bra tips som vi hade nytta av. Boendet var hemtrevligt och kändes stort och luftigt. Vi grillade flera kvällar på terrassen och åt även frukost där med utsikt över den vackra dalgången. Rekommenderas starkt!
