Located in heart of the city-centre. Restaurants, bars, historical sight seeings , museums, shopping area, central station, tour-boat harbor, its all at walking distance. Complete house for yourself, with private entrance. Many unusual things, like a popcorn machine, open-fire-place in your bedroom, an indoor terrace, etc. Some pictures may give the impression as if they are taken outside the house in a cozy street, or in the garden, but that's really just the decoration of the living room.

Our stay was very nice, even as a family of four everyone had enough privacy and we enjoyed sitting on the small terrace. We really liked the possibility of renting bicycles, we rode them to the stand and into the city. We would come back anytime.

We were already excited about the advertisement. The experience was even better! What a beautiful place and what a nice welcome. We already regretted not having booked more nights :-) This old school has been given a unique second life. We were impressed by the colors, the finish and the care with which it was done. We had a great stay at Marleen's. Despite some private issues, enjoyed the wonderfully quiet environment 10 minutes by bus and you are in Leiden central. Very quiet location on a cul-de-sac. Super friendly welcome by Marleen, despite the fact that we were very early. Clear explanation and nice start to the conversation. Great view and well-equipped kitchen ( and general kitchen), clean. Many different animals that partly roam freely in the yard, view of the meadows and the cows and a super nice cottage to stay in. We were happy with the electric heater, the weather was less and we come from the Philippines. Thank you Marleen, you have made it a true paradise

Guus is awesome - he made us feel right at home and was flexible when some unforseen delays occured during our travels. Very central location and just beautiful. Excellent bars and restaurants. Close to a supermarket and wine shop. Highly recommended

The flat is really nice and even bigger than it looks on the photos. It had everything we needed including some food Jesse got for us. Jesse was a great host and always responded within minutes. Be aware that the bedroom window faces the street and if you are a light sleeper you may need earplugs.
