Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Birch Bay

Great place to stay for the weekend and explore the area! Megan and Kenny left very helpful and detailed instructions regarding check in and what was available in/around the property, and were helpful and responsive when we asked questions. I would recommend bringing groceries, there is a pizza place right next door but not many other food options nearby. Kitchen is well stocked with all you need for cooking. Stayed with family (4 adults, plus a dog) and it was a good amount of space for us for the weekend but might have felt crowded if staying for a longer period of time. Any side notes about the unit (loft getting hot, for example) are well explained in the description and I think the description and photos accurately reflect the actual unit very well. I will add that the bathroom fan is rather loud, so make sure everyone in your group is done showering before others want to sleep! Overall thank you to Megan and Kenny for a great place to stay!

Great location and communication for the hosts. I needed place last minute to prepare for my final exam and this a perfect quiet place to do so.

The view was incredible and Tina was very friendly and helpful when I had questions. She was quick to respond too! I enjoyed my sleep every night! I would stay here again when I’m in Vancouver.

Alex's place was beautiful!! the location is prime area. it has everythinf you need nearby. the apartment itself is very clean and new. i especially loved the amenities! also, Alex was super responsive when I had to ask questions. check in and out was a breeze. highly recommend!

I would give 5/5 to the accommodation but especially to the host for the flexibility for the time of arrival and departure and respond very quickly to the request I will come back to this place if you stop by Surrey

Janice's place was amazing, it was super clean, easy to find and very cozy. The outdoor patio was one of my favourite areas in the apartment. Janice was very helpful and even left a book of instructions and things to do while visting Vancouver. Would definitely recommend staying at her place!

We loved this place. Will definitely rent it again the next time we have visitors that need a place to stay.

Bright and clean apartment. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Appreciated the underground parking so I could walk to hospital for visits.

This is my second stay at Dianne’s fantastic condo. (It’s now my home away from home!) It’s super clean, well-appointed, and is conveniently located right above the skytrain station, grocery store and restaurants. Dianne is a wonderful host and is always communicative. Checking in and out is a breeze. I still highly recommend this amazing condo and will absolutely stay again!

I have stayed in Snowater before and this was a similar unit to many others. It was well decorated, kitchen was well stocked and the home was very comfortable. It felt well furnished, and cozy without being cluttered and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook in.

I absolutely loved this spot! It was the perfect getaway for a little “staycation” I enjoyed every bit of this trip! Special thanks to the hosts!

Jocelyne’s place was just as described. We had 4 people stay at her place and it was cozy, but manageable. It was clean and had everything we needed. There is no AC but that is typical for places in Vancouver. The area was great, it was walkable and convenient and not far from other great Vancouver neighbourhoods. I would suggest following Mount Pleasant BIA for events in the neighbourhood. Overall great stay!

We’ve stayed at Snowwater many times and knew by the price of this condo that it wouldn’t be as fancy as others but we were actually quite pleased. The unit was nicer than the pictures show. The couch is practically brand new and is foam so even though it’s a little stiff for sitting on, it was great for sleeping on. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean and up to date with new dishes and all the cooking items we needed. Nice big gas fireplace. This condo was a great price and was perfect for a little relaxing getaway.

We have just returned from a 14 night stay in Vancouver, all made even better with the fantastic accommodation we arrived to. What a pleasant experience from start to finish, from the booking to the checking in and out and during the stay communication was amazing. The apartment was super clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The extra little bits like coffee pods, games, bathroom essentials, washing machine was an added bonus. Felt safe, secure and friendly people in the block. We even used the roof terrace on a sunny day! Close to transport links, great places to eat and drink, we had coffee at krankys and the federal store which we would recommend. The view of the mountains from the patio doors was out of this world. We will for sure return and recommend to friends and family. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and stress free.

What an amazing place to stay with your family for a get-away. We had a wonderful, relaxing visit. The views of the ocean are incredible - we were even treated to a 30min orca show one evening! The home is thoughtfully laid out and very spacious. Lots of towels and linens. The kitchen is well appointed, and great for meals and family dinners and boardgames in the evening. Great bathrooms also. The pool was fantastic. We swam every single day and we loved the nearby access to the beautiful, private beach. We also appreciated the extras like the paddle boards, kayaks, pool accessories & boardgames. Word of wisdom: If you're anything like me, you don't intuitively check "House Rules" for additional fees which is where theirs are listed. To access that glorious pool there is a fairly substantial added fee, as well as a fee to bring pets. We'd already booked and paid before we discovered this. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, but might be a game changer for some.

Demitri and Jessica’s place was by far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at! It was in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. 3 min walk to supermarket, 2 min walk to the bus stop, and 10 min drive to downtown Vancouver. Inside their home, you’ve got everything you could think of. The kitchen was fully equipped (I’m talking about different types of coffee maker etc). The interior was very spacious and comfortable for 4 adults. I especially love the thoughtful instructions placed around the house - which saved me time from searching for how things work. Demitri and Jessica put in so much effort running this place. I got multiple messages from them during my stay to make sure our stay was ok. I would 100% recommend staying at their place!

'Hollywood North' is a bit of a misnomer - the home is much more classic, warm and comfortable, with owners who provide timely and helpful communication and assistance. 'West Coast Charm and Grace' might be more descriptive. The cost of the accommodation, though not unsubstantial, was well worth it. We were a group of 9 adults from 2 branches of one family who meet every Thanksgiving to reconnect. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the 2 living areas, the dining room, the outdoor terrace, the swimming pool and hot tub, the gardens, and the very impressive kitchen all served to make the holiday one we will cherish. Everything you need to make the house your home was supplied - inspired us to stay in and cook as a family a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner! In short, a beautiful home and great hosts in a lovely setting. Could not ask for more.

We had a great stay at Hubert’s place for 1 week. We stayed here during a multi day family wedding and the location was excellent. This was one of the main reasons we booked. Hubert’s place was only 5 minutes away from the main wedding house and it was close to coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The check in was a bit tricky with trying to get the lock box open but we managed to figure it out. A big draw of the property was the secure parking and security measures in place. We felt really safe in the building. We also did have all the basic necessities in the unit for our stay such as utensils, laundry, and a coffee machine. Hubert was also very quick to respond to any questions I had. Thank you!

Wonderful experience from start to finish! The home was amazing and the amenities were great. Very peacful and relaxing. We shared the space with 2 other couples and everyone had their private space. This should be a top consideration if you are looking to stay in the area or just get away!

My sister and her partner traveled over from Ireland to visit me and we booked Michael's air bnb for a couple of days. The house was perfect, it had everything we needed. It rained the whole time we were away but there was enough space/games in the house to keep us entertained. If I ever get the chance to go back to cultus lake I will definitely be trying to book Michael's place again.
