We enjoyed staying here very much. The location is really quiet and undisturbed. The view on the lake is great. There you could fish and go boating. Inside, the cottage is very cozy and equipped with everything you need. A great place to get away.

Beautiful house located in the forest by the lake. Nothing is missing, Josefina was helpful and quickly responded to our doubts. She also gave us special tips on fishing, which were very useful. I can definitely recommend this house.

Cottage in a superb location. Sufficient space for 2 people. Location was a bit harder to find on the map, but with the right instructions from the owner, it was easy to find. Beautiful forests with a view of the lake, really great! Nice owner who responds immediately to your messages! We love cold showers, but if this is not the case, you should be a quick showerer. After about 3 minutes, the hot water is used up. But this recovers afterwards.

Amazing location for a quiet honeymoon :) Beautiful scenery, quiet location perfect for a holiday away from all the busyness of city life. Endless walks and ability to take out the boat or the paddle board and hang out by the fire watching the scenery in the evenings. Inger and Erik always responded to every question we had very quickly and they also gave us recommendations for local things to do. Although in a quiet area, Oslo is just 50 minutes away by train and you can also organise a variety of days out in the surrounding towns like Halden. The cabin is clean and has everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be coming back in the future :)

Secluded cottage with a lake view & private jetty

We (a family of six and a dog) spent two relaxing weeks in the cottage. In the 1st week, thanks to the sunny weather, we just spent time on the private jetty, went swimming & explored the lake via SUP. In the 2nd, cooler week, we enjoyed the peace & quiet of the area around the cottage, sat around the campfire, visited Karlstad, Arvika & Charlottenberg & picked blueberries while hiking! If you want to take home a hand-carved souvenir, you should stop by the Sneckarboa-house in Fredros! Mattias was always available via phone to answer our questions (but actually the great cottage manual is all you need) and welcomed us with a little present! The cottage is cosily furnished and offered us everything we needed. But, if you're looking for luxury, you're in the wrong place. We had to get used to the noise from the road, mainly at closing time, but after a few days we no longer noticed it. We really enjoyed our time here!

We were very lucky to stay at the Villa Lillebo for 2 weeks. First of all, it was fantastic. When you drive onto the property, the glittering lake immediately catches your eye and you immediately feel like you are in another world. The house is equipped with everything you need and it is furnished with a lot of love down to the last detail. This of course also applies to the very well-kept outdoor area, the newly built terrace with a comfortable whirlpool and the sauna house with its own small sun terrace. We spent many beautiful hours at the barbecue area where you can enjoy the sunset over the lake by a campfire. The jetty invites you to explore the lake by boat or canoe. Checking in and out worked without any problems and communication with the lovely hosts went smoothly. Villa Lillebo is a place of tranquility, peace and harmony with nature. Thank you Emelie and Ken for letting us be your guests

Very welcoming and trustworthy hosts. We accidentally broke two glasses in the dishwasher, but were told with understanding "it's fine, these things happen" when we wanted to pay for the glasses. Beautiful surroundings with birds chirping in the morning, a river flowing nearby and very helpful and friendly hosts. Hope we can visit this cabin later too, outstanding long weekend 🤗
