Bungalow holiday rentals in Bocas del Toro

Completely as we expected. a cottage on stilts, nice, simple but very neat. On the edge of Old Banks and that is a community where everyone knows each other and the original guari-guari is spoken, related to the Jaimakaans. Have a chat with the friendly people and you will be answered quickly. Please note that such a village also has its sounds like barking dogs and roosters who want to be the first. We have received a lot of help with trips and gene demand is too much. Very grateful for the good care.

Super cute and simple . Your staying on a pier in a super beautiful bay . Easy access to get into town .market close easy to grab a taxi to get you around . Centered perfectly to get around to islands . Would stay again

What an amazing and peaceful place! The bungalow opens right onto the sea, and we loved sitting in silence, watching the waves, passing boats, and beautiful birds. Just a few meters away is a sandy beach with warm water and starfish to admire. The house provides snorkeling gear and canoes. My husband and I especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, living and dining areas under the incredible thatched roof. James and Lucy were wonderful hosts—super helpful with organizing our boat transfers and checking in about groceries when boats went to the main island. They also connected us with Calypso, a guide for the Salt Creek Community visit (highly recommended) and a talented chef who prepared a delicious Caribbean meal for us. We were there during low season, but a restaurant was open a 10 minute walk away. Everyone we met on the island was delightful. If you love remote, authentic places, this is a true paradise. Going back to the busy world was hard. We could have stayed forever :) Thx!!!

Great place to stay. It's a dollar to get into the center of bocas but is much quieter. It is realy close to some fantastic snorkelling.

First of all, Michel was very responsive to questions before we traveled to Panama. He even helped to arrange transportation before and after our stay. Michel was staying at Punto Vieja during the days we visited, which was very fortunate (I think he is sometimes not there). He is one of the best hosts I could imagine - friendly, fun to talk to, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area, and will help arrange any tours you would like. I did not tour with any other companies in Bocas but I have no complaints at all about our tour guides. All of the rest of the staff working at Punto Viejo were also fantastic. The food prepared by chef Vincent is absolutely delicious (hopefully you like fish/seafood). I would highly recommend including the restaurant food in your budget because the 8pm gathering of all guests at the communal table is fun and enriching. We traveled with 2 children ages 8 and 13 and they also had a great time.

Exactly as pics describe. Very nice place. Would recommend for anyone that wants a feel for how life is in the Caribbean for locals , the town was very interesting but maybe not the best for someone who wants something very refined or quiet. On one night for instance we heard music through the night as there was a local party. In all I highly recommend. Transport was easy as the water taxis can be organised on a few mins notice and bring you right to the door. Special mention to the ladies working in the restaurant/bar as they were great for food recommendations and organising taxis for us. Do the lobster tour with Manny also , Stacy can arrange

Clarisse is a super host! Always ready to help with a smile. Beautiful surroundings, pure nature, very quiet and peaceful. Besides all this she is a wonderful cook, she prepared a delicious vegan meal for us with an excellent dessert! Also terrific breakfast served, all very delicious. Thank you

Flo and Danielle have crafted a beautiful experience at Bocas Garden Villas. The space is custom built and practical and beautiful, with every detail accounted for! The bathroom and bedroom is spacious, as is the outdoor kitchen. The indoor space is fully air conditioned, with window slats that keep the cool air in. Note that the space is not soundproof, which we really enjoyed - you could hear everything from crickets, to thunderstorms to howler monkeys. Both my partner and I slept well although I would advise those sensitive to sound to bring ear plugs if it’s not your cup of tea. We used the barbecue and enjoyed great meals outdoors, making use of limes grown in trees nearby and There is a motorbike for rent and I highly recommend using it! Best way to get around the island. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend.

This little gem is absolutely magical. We were picked up in Bocas by the hosts friend and brought to this incredible place with only a 12 min boat ride from bocas. Their pictures don’t even do this place justice. The beauty is even better in person. I recommend eating the breakfast they offer. Absolutely fresh and delicious. We will be back for sure!

This air b and b was absolutely amazing! Perfect location and the host was super responsive and helpful. the place its self was so clean and had so many amenities. very easy to get to by boat and the surroundings were beautiful and in a perfect location for a lovely sunset! Very close to a lovely restaurant also. The kitchen was so well equipped and there were so many items to help with keeping the bugs away so that wasn’t an issue at all. Even though 89 steps sounds like a lot to reach the property, the walk was completely fine and definitely worth it to get to the air b and b. Genuinely not a bad thing to say about it! Amazing!

This has been my best airbnb experience, by far. Heather and Laurie are absolutely amazing - they are super responsive, kind and go the extra mile to make sure that you enjoy your stay. I went to Bocas for a solo getaway to relax, unwind and be surrounded by nature and this airbnb was the perfect stay for that. It was amazing to have my morning coffee in the hammock on the balcony, while enjoying the sounds of the both the jungle and ocean. I can't wait to go back and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!!!! We enjoyed it so much. Perfect location amongst the locals. The place is just as described. Stacy was super helpful and very responsive. Place was clean! She has a restaurant on site and food is great. Plus a few restaurants in town that were fabulous. We were able to walk to the nearby beaches. Do note that you are staying in town and the locals love to party Friday - Monday so the music is LOUD. The town is not the best kept and that sucked a bit but it didn’t stop us from walking around. Great vacation! Loved the beaches.

We absolutely loved our time here. It was exactly what we needed with our family. The space is beautiful and it’s such a great experience. We would definitely return.
