Cabin holiday rentals in Bodelva

We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. Thank you for having us.

We had a wonderful stay at Porthilly Lodge! The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the cabin had everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful when we needed help with the hot tub, going out of their way to assist us quickly and kindly. The nearby little beach was lovely for an evening stroll, and for those looking for a longer outing, the walk to the ferry and a day in Padstow is well worth it. We’d happily recommend staying here, and we’ve already talked about coming back!

Lovely location with beautiful views. Secure garden to allow dogs to run around freely, which mine loved. It was my first trip away with both of my dogs and I was a bit worried about it, but it was perfect. Hosts are very welcoming to dogs as well which made me feel more at ease. Hot tub was great. Lots of different areas in the garden to relax.

Thank you both for a brillant stay. The surroundings were perfect. The mottled light in the evening around the fire was perfect. The sauna, cold drop & hot tub made the stay very special and relaxing. Some really cool attention to detail stuff in the cabin. It was super cosy & comfortable. Fab place to stay, perfect for a short weekend exploring the local area! The home was exactly as it was photographed and described. Joseph was great providing an extensive list of recommendations and clear instruction on how to find the accommodation. We will for sure be coming back!

This was such a wonderful place to stay. A beautiful wooden lodge with plenty of space, comfortable furnishings and spectacular verandas. It’s in a beautiful mature garden setting which is idyllic in every way. Private and peaceful yet with easy access to so many walking routes, gorgeous beaches, great cafes and pubs. We only took the car out on one day, everything else we did on foot. The pool and jacuzzi were a welcome bonus too.

We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Garden Room! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of cozy touches that made our visit extra special. Louise was kind and responsive, offering great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. We can’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay again!

An incredible place to stay. Great location close to padstow in a secure area and great for the dog. Ideal for royal Cornwall show if that’s something you are interested in but only an hour away from lands end and 20mins to Newquay. Overall the place was clean and inviting. Hannah was great for communication and offering loads of info to get around and quick to reply if any issues

This is a wonderful, secluded home from home with a fully equipped kitchen and private garden. There is off road parking. It is next to Barney and Sue's house but very quiet and private/separate. The pub The Crown in st ewes is 10/10 with great food and only 10 minutes walk away. It is only a ten to fifteen minute drive from the coast path. Very clean overall but if you dont like a slightly doggy smell and some small spiders it may not be for you. Tip - there wasn't any salt or ground coffee so bring you're own if you plan to cook/use cafetiere! Sue was kind enough to leave some milk and some instant coffee and tea as well as some other snacks which was very kind.

Cheryl, was very friendly and helpful and responded really quickly to any questions we had. She recommended a few dog friendly beaches to take the dog, as at this time of the year quite a few beaches ban dogs in Cornwall, so it’s worth knowing where to gol. The accommodation was a perfect base in which to explore Cornwall. Although, we thought it slightly smaller than the photos suggested! However, it was cosy and well equipped with everything we needed. The welcome treats for us and the dog on arrival, were also very much appreciated. The location of the accommodation is beautiful and very quiet, but you will definitely need a car and a SatNav, as the local shop and 2 pubs are quite a distance away. All in all, a lovely week spent here, thank you again Cheryl.

First stay at the Old Tea Hut and have already booked to go again next year. The pictures do not do justice to the loveliness of the hut. Everything you could need is there and the space is just beautiful. Freya was always responsive to any messages and was friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to stay again 💖

Was an incredible stay. Hosts are super friendly and the place itself was beautiful, really private and when the sun is out it’s a real sun trap. Easy instructions and great location. Nice walk to the nearest beach which is beautiful. Very dog friendly. 10/10 great trip.

We had a lovely few days at Sue Hut and really enjoyed our stay. The place was spotless, nicely prepared for our arrival, and felt so welcoming. We were greeted with complimentary milk and water, and there were even treats waiting for our pup—which was such a thoughtful touch. The hut had everything we needed, including dog bowls and soft, clean sleeping blankets for our furry friend. The cozy decorations throughout the space made it feel warm and homely, and everything smelled fresh and inviting. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into hosting here. We felt really well looked after and would happily come back!

We had such a lovely stay in the caravan. The location was perfect, and the caravan itself was cozy and well-equipped. Liv was very informative and kind, letting us check in early and making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Liv gave us some great recommendations the Ship inn and the Rashleigh Inn were both fabulous for food and a great location on the beach with very friendly locals making us feel very welcome. The band at the Ship inn on bank holiday Monday was really entertaining thanks so much Liv. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing break!

The Airbnb was in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach. The room was spotless, and Francine provided clear and easy-to-follow instructions for both check-in and check-out. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay for a week, very peaceful, Clean & Tidy, only downside was that it's quite remote from main supermarkets but not a major problem just get organized. Lots of local pubs within a short drive, great base to visit padstow & St Ives

excellent find, spotless, felt right at home, lovely comfy bed. welcome box of treats was a nice surprise. hosts Chris and Philippa were available if needed but not intrusive. excellent location for exploring Cornwall. will definitely recommend to family and friends and look forward to returning.

My expectations was blown out of water for where I was staying. Everything was clean, and perfectly organised to make the place feel cozy. With the lovely view it of the sea and even lovelier company with Val (if you wanted to grab a chat) I would highly recommend this place anyone looking for a solo trip to Looe. The town was just a short walk away with a breath taking view and even a few recommendations from Val of where to go and what to see. I will be definitely be coming back in the future as my experience was heavenly.

Absolutely brilliant stay! The lodge was perfect and had everything we could need with a beautiful view over the countryside and sea in the distance. We stayed with our 5 month old baby and loved it. It was completely spotless and we felt right at home. Ashley was very responsive and kept checking to make sure we were comfortable. Will definitely be returning and recommending it to family and friends

This was our 2nd stay here and we had a fantastic time again. A great base for us to use to explore Cornwall from and some amazing local beaches as well. The lodge was perfect for us and our 2 young children, and gave us a home away from home for the week
