Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bommayapalayam

We rented the private hut space in the property and I must say, we felt home instantly! The Hut was so cozy and welcoming and it was exactly and more than what we expected. I wished that the ceiling of the first floor was even higher as we had to crawl every time we had to move. however, we got used to that too quite soon as it brought us all more together. We were allowed access to the common areas of the property. It is extremely well-maintained and it's heaven to be there. The kitchen had everything we needed and it's great we could cook ourselves, make ourselves some tea. Vignesh was a very kind and generous host. He showed us the other rooms which I'm looking forward to booking the next time I'm in Auroville. if you're looking for a place that's away from all the noise, amongst nature, economical, functional and feels at home, this is the place.

It was a comfortable stay. Felt like home away from home. Travelling with kids is demanding and this place had everything a house should have which was convenient and made our stay comfortable. Not to forget a nice terrace to relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Paige! The place has a very homely vibe to it and is equipped with everything shown in the pictures. Alfred was very helpful right from the start and was quick to respond to our queries. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay in Pondicherry.

It was a great stay for us. The stay has all the amenities you’ll require for the vacation. All the touristy locations are easily accessible. Also, Padmanaban is a great host, he’s friendly and responsive. Will highly recommend. :)

We were a family of 6 including kids and senior citizen parents. Monica was very prompt in her responses and the house is exactly as represented in pics, very neat, safe and comfortable with all modern amenities. The fact that the house has parking for 2 vehicles and easily accessible is the highlight. Check-in and check-out was also very easy and smooth. We had a very comfortable stay and will come again. Definitely recommend the host and home for stay.

We had a wonderful month staying in Kannans place. It’s perfect located to explore both Pondicherry and Auroville and the neighborhood is quiet. The apartment is nicely furnished and fully equipped for daily needs. The family was always helpful and kind. We would definitely come again.

Beautiful bnb , photos won’t do the justice. Top noch interiors , very luxurious pod , bigger than expected . Co host Abhijeet was really helpful in getting things around , explained everything about the place and was available all the time when needed .

This place is very close to White Town/Promenade beach/ rock beach/ french colony - which is where you would want to go to/stay/ and roam around in the city. (In auto, it took me leas than 5 mins) And the auto stand is close to the apartment, making it feasible to commute even as late as 11pm at night (my mom and I were travelling on our own, felt safe doing so) But most importantly it’s an affordable stay, close to the beach. The 2bhk apartment, located on the first floor (there’s no lift though) is spacious, has a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony. Both the rooms have AC, making them the perfect respite after a hot and humid day in the city. Bonus point - there’s car parking and Hemlata was kind enough to offer someone to park our car for us (as the parking is a bit tight for sedans/suvs). Overall an amazing stay if you are travelling with family or friends, and you have a big house to yourself to relax and chill.

Terk’s place is beautiful and spacious. Nice chill seating area and big comfy bed. There’s also a nice workstation for those who want to get some work done. He has all the standard room amenities you’d want and a good and clean bathroom. There is a balcony shaded by a gorgeous bougainvillea that is perfect for chilling. There are a number of restaurants nearby and the Ashram is a a very short walk away. We really liked the stay with Terk, he was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

beautiful place to stay. very spacious place and couple friendly. Premises can accommodate 5 - 6 cars. Since the stay is inside the auroville, it will be always fun and pleasant to commute.

I absolutely loved my stay at this beautifully designed penthouse in the heart of White Town. It felt like a home away from home, with a spacious layout, comfortable mattresses, and modern amenities like a fully stocked kitchen, reliable mesh Wi-Fi, and a washing machine. Each morning, Sumathi Amma would come by around 10 a.m. to tidy up, which made my stay even more comfortable and hassle-free. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by decent restaurants and grocery options. Devasmita and her wonderful team (Gaurab) were always available and quick to respond, offering helpful local recommendations. Whether staying for a few days or a few weeks, I highly recommend this penthouse to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway. P.S - The private terrace adjacent to the living room just opens up the whole space and is really great for sitting down with your morning cup of joe :)

Had a great stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully done with little touches like snacks, chilled water, and even an umbrella that made us feel instantly welcome. It’s in a great location too, super close to most of the places we wanted to visit, including cafes, shops, and key sights around Pondicherry. Dipen was a fantastic host! very responsive and helpful. His list of recommendations for cafés and things to do really came in handy. We had a last minute change in plans, and he generously offered another property without any prior notice, which we’re extremely grateful for. He was also kind enough to accommodate a late checkout, which made our departure so much smoother. A big thanks to Jacqueline Akka as well. She was incredibly sweet and showed us around the place, making sure we were comfortable and knew how everything worked. Overall, a lovely and relaxed experience. Would 100% recommend this stay to anyone visiting Pondicherry!

I would recommend. It’s got all you need as a base to enjoy Pondy. Responsive host. All (minor) issues were sorted promptly. Cosy and comfortable place. Wish I had time to stay longer!

check in and check out time could have been more comfortable.. otherwise everything was peaceful and private..... varthika is a good host when it comes to communication basis ....also she was kind enough to help us in need. Room was too small than it is given in reference pic..Congested for two people even . Basic amenities were provided. Privacy is well maintained. She didn't kept too many restrictions and rules even. Overall a good experience. Who all has lil luggage burden and a small vacation for two to three days can choose this place.

Pros: 1) Covered Car Parking. 2) Responsive and thoughtful host ( she kept some eatables for us during check-in) 3) AC even in the living room . 4) Necessary amenities 5) Lift 6) Far from the hustle of the crowd but still located within walking/driving reach of the happening places. Improvement points: 1) In-house RO facility ( 10L can was provided and host did fill up whenever needed) . 2) A door peep hole will help in knowing who is knocking the door before opening it to strangers. Suggestion to reach location: Please take the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Road (which takes 1 -2 mins more than Google suggested route) as the access road in between is very narrow and roadwork was going on. Overall, definitely a place to visit for a pleasant stay in Pondicherry. thanks for the nice memories. 😃

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful seaside property. Just about a km from the end of Rocky Beach, the location is scenic — perfect for a relaxing break by the coast. The apartment, located on the first floor, is thoughtfully designed with a sea view. One of the bedrooms offers the rare joy of watching the ocean while lying in bed, and the balcony overlooking the sea quickly became our favourite spot for morning tea and evening chats. We stayed with our 80-year-old mother, and she managed the stairs comfortably, thanks to the sturdy side handles. The property has two clean washrooms, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Everything was well arranged, making our stay comfortable. Weekend nights do get a bit lively with people gathering nearby and music going on till late, but it adds to the vibrant atmosphere of the area. Above all, the host was courteous, responsive, and truly a superhost in every sense. Highly recommended, and we would love to return.

About property :- Our stay experience was fantastic, right in front of beach as visible in pictures which is just 50 mtr away. The places that are the heart of city (rock beach, beach road , white town) are at a walkable distance making it an accessible location. It has all the amenities one can think of and which probably could not be add in the web page. Ample parking space on road side. We came with family and kids and it was wonderful experience. Home away from home with all facilities round the clock with Swiggy , Zomato and even Swiggy Insta mart. About Host :- Nishtha and Mudit are amazing host. Their warm welcome just set the tone right for our vacations. They also guided us in a way to explore maximum places, the most convenient way in our short span of stay. Many thanks to their quick responses most of the time😊. We strongly recommend this homestay as location and host, both are super cool 😎hope it helps.
