Welcome to the Middle Ages! The Martinsburg is one of the few castles in the Middle Rhine Valley that has never been destroyed. Here, the building structure is actually centuries old. We carefully renovated the room of the gatekeeper, approx. 50 m2, and approached today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you must climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather, you can also linger in the flower corner in the castle courtyard or explore the castle park on the Rhine.

Sie wohnen in einem einfachen, aber gemütlichen, kleinen Apartment (25qm) mit einem Doppelbett ( 140x200cm) und Duschbad in Boppard Stadt. Es hat einen separaten Eingang und liegt im Souterrain unseres Hauses. Kostenfreier WLAN Zugang ist eingerichtet. In dem Wohn-Schlafzimmer für 1-2 Personen gibt es keine Küche, aber die Möglichkeit sich ein Frühstück zuzubereiten. Eine Kaffeepadmaschine , ein Wasserkocher und ein kleiner Kühlschrank stehen zur Verfügung. Geschirr und Gläser sind vorhanden.

Keep in mind! Starting March 1, 2025, there will be a full closure of the B49 between Lay and Moselweiss. Start of the construction of a cycle path. This means that a detour towards Koblenz of plus 12 km (approx. 15 min longer drive) is to be expected. Buses will be diverted. Spend your vacation in the romantic Moselle Valley, just 8 km from the center of one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Germany, in a modern furnished apartment in the idyllic Moselle village of Lay.

In einem Haus von 1900 wurde diese Wohnung neu renoviert, sowie liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. Über den angrenzenden Balkon besteht ein direkter Blick auf den Rhein, die Burg Maus und die Burg Rheinfels. Die Küche, sowie das Bad und Gäste-WC sind voll ausgestattet. Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich neben einer Schlafcouch auch ein Smart-TV.

Dear guests – with us you stay in the middle of it instead of just being there! You only need to walk one step (almost ground level) to arrive at our apartment (46 m²). It is located on the ground floor in a side street of the Boppard pedestrian zone, in the old town of Boppard (former Roman fort). Parking is a big problem in Boppard and is subject to charges. You can park your vehicle for free in public parking spaces with our in-house guest card.
