Julie was fantastic from initial contact. She was immediately responsive and accommodating. We’d prearranged a late checkin, and arrived to a lovely considerate welcome package including bread, milk and jams. Julie’s place was lovely, cosy and quiet. It had everything we could need, and access to it was safe, simple and private. Julie had lots of local recommendations for us when asked, which was appreciated. She was also keen to listen to our experiences to pass on to future guests. We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed using our base to explore all the west coast had to offer. We enjoyed that the accomodation displayed some of Julie’s own artwork- we were even lucky enough to arrive during an artists open studio weekend, so had the pleasure of seeing Julie’s studio - an added bonus.

We had an excellent week at this property. Lovely location, we enjoyed our walks down to the beach each day with our dog. Such a lovely buzz on the beach, very chilled. The open top bus from the site to Sandbanks and Poole was great. Our teenage daughter and her friend made use of this a couple of times to go shopping and explore a little on their own. We visited Corfe Castle, which was in a lovely place and parked on the Purbeck car park (rather than the actual Castle Car Park) which gave a lovely scenic walk through and passed over the Steam Railway. We visited Lulworth Cove and did the cliff top walk over to Durdle Door, which was an amazing site. Weymouth is beautiful, very sunny that day so perfect for a sea side resort. We took a look at the Beach Hut, in a great place, with a green area, Cafe and play park. Would work really well as a base for enjoying yourselves, especially if you have younger children. Great location and lots to see and do. Thank you

Great location - Very Quiet yet within short walking distance to Milford on Sea centre with Shops, Restaurants, Pubs and the beach. Clean, comfortable and very well equiped> it had everything you need for a relaxing break. Kevin is very welcoming and helpful. Leaving cake on arrival was a nice and most welcome touch, and also the Dishwasher was a nice surprise.

Perfect stay for the second year running. We’ve had a wonderful weekend, eaten at The Pig and Lind House hotel and spa at Chewton Glen. Then had this little gem to wind down in after. Thank you

Perfect place to stay for a weekend in Christchurch. The Airbnb had everything you need. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again if in the area!

The 2 ladies that greeted us upon check in were friendly and helpful. the campsite is clean, peaceful, tranquil. plenty of toilet/shower blocks which were clean, modern and accessible whenever my family needed. all guests very friendly. as for the shepherds hut, it was warmer then expected with plenty of room and storage under the main double bed. mattress very comfortable and 2 single beds which could fit up to 5ft 2 child on comfortably. if your on a budget i would recommend arranging food (there is 2 electric hob perfect for pasta) as a family of 4 we walked to nearest pub restaurant st peters finger, was nice but pricey and limited menu. highly reccommended for short stay (1/2 nights) with local links for things to do

Such a great experience. A fantastic place we would want to come to again. A gem in quirk and different. We stayed in the tree house and it was so peaceful because we were surrounded by nature. The perfect place to get away from ‘the hustle & bustle of life’ Will highly recommend and return to try the other accommodations listed. A great end to a great break in Dorset. Deb & Dunk x

Had a lovely three night stay in Acorn hut. Spacious and very private outdoor space with a hot tub for relaxing. Bathroom facilities were clean and shower was great. The hut itself was cosy with everything you need for a few nights away. Big enough for my partner and I as well as our large greyhound. The host was lovely and helpful with advice about places to go and the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

Well laid out tiny home in it’s own garden at the rear of the house. Good location for walking and exploring the coastal path. Great cafe around the corner with a local shop for supplies. Will definitely be back.

Sue and Ben are the most welcoming and lovely hosts. Helped us out as soon as we arrived and made us feel at home. The cabin was gorgeous and the location is so quiet! Thank you both!! Would recommend to anyone!!

Had an amazing two night stay here. Was very easy to find following the instructions provided. Beautiful location and no noise. Cabin was really cosy and looked exactly like the pictures. It was very clean and provides everything you need and more. Hosts were very pleasant and welcoming also providing a nice book of things to do in the area. Definitely recommend and will be staying here again in the future for sure!

Great little hut on the edge of the heathland, that perfectly suited a chilled night with our youngest son, he absolutely loved the hut, collecting wood for the fire and the rope swing . Perfect nights sleep had by all.

A lovely hut in the New Forest, beside the local pub (which we didn’t actually try). A peaceful location! Really well appointed, luxurious hut, with v comfy bed and a lovely bathroom! What more could you want!

The shepherd's hut is the perfect peaceful getaway if you want to be in the middle of nature. Ducks, geese and a peacock wander the lawn - slice of heaven

A beautiful space with so many thoughtful touches throughout, including homemade sourdough bread and preserves. Great amenities, peaceful surroundings, and an incredibly helpful…but never intrusive host! We would definitely recommend, and return.

Great little stay at The Coop for our anniversary. Super walkable into the village and the beach. Really easy to find thanks to Rachel's clear instructions. We found the bed really comfortable as well! All the amenities you need and we both said this was the nicest Shepherds Hut we've stayed in so far. Thank you Rachel!

Had a wonderful two days at The Bothy. Such a beautiful spot and the cottage I think looks even better in real life - and it looks pretty wonderful in the photos! We felt right at home straight away- Chrissy had left some welcome staples which was appreciated and there is everything you need for a truly lovely stay. We made use of the hot tub which was fab and it’s in a very peaceful but convenient location to explore the New Forest. Come - we hope to go back soon.

I recommend Claire's we had the best time everything was catered for and the surroundings set in the woods was amazing thank you for everything and the breakfast was just what we needed and very tasty we will be back

We had a great stay at Maurietty. Jo’s instructions to find it were really clear and we had no issues at all. The cabin is spotless with everything you need for a short break. Maurietty really is in the middle of the New Forest , surrounded by lots of walks and lovely places or eat and drink. I would recommend staying with Jo to all my friends and family , and will be booking Maurietty again when we come back to visit the New Forest. Thank you Jo !

We had such a lovely week-long stay at the Summerhouse. Went with my partner and our young baby. The location was perfect, very quiet and peaceful, and a short drive to multiple beaches, the new forest, and shops. The summerhouse was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen really well equipped. Always lots of hot water for baths and showers. The weather was hot and there were two fans and a standalone air con unit to keep us cool! Dainy was the perfect host and gave us lots of recommendations including the best Chinese takeaway I think we have ever had! We would love to return some day :)
