Our house is close to the centre of Coniston village, 2 mins walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants and a short stroll down to the lake. The house has quality furniture and fittings, we've taken time over everything, the wood burning stove, comfy beds and the modern well equipped kitchen. There's beautiful landscapes throughout and some unique leaded glass by Sarah Lace. You can leave the car and walk everywhere if you wish. Our house is good for couples, families and one well behaved dog.

Beautiful annexe to historic grade 2-listed property. Tastefully decorated, with a stunning bedroom and bath/ shower room, commanding views across a lovely garden. Downstairs, the hall leads into a fully equipped kitchen and the living/ dining room, with patio doors that open out onto a pebbled seating area. Ideally located, with a gentle stroll down to Coniston Water and a bridle path above leading to the fells and Coniston Old Man. Half a mile from the village and opposite the Ship Inn.

Booked this last year as I had entered Coniston 2025End to End swim with family, and brought other supporters with us. Perfect location in the town , a bit noisy as pubs shut but otherwise peaceful! Very comfortable house, loved our short stay, perfect Saturday swimming weather then a great thunderstorm rolled in.

The pictures really don’t do it any justice. It was such a lovely place with the most incredible views. Beds were comfortable, kitchen fully equipped, lovely living room with a fire, dinning room and snug and some games which were great fun. Bedrooms had the best views. We had some walks down to the river and had day trips out from there. Great location. Had a relaxing time and will definitely return.

Had a lovely short stay at The BoatHouse. Views were absolutely stunning and the accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The beds were super comfy. The work next door was a little noisy at times but we were pre-warned and to be honest it didn’t bother us. Just beware to close the blind in the bathroom as the crane provides a direct view in! Please note that you need to bring your own toilet/kitchen roll for the accommodation otherwise everything was extremely well stocked. Would definitely return!

We stayed at Harry's place for just one night but wished it was for longer after getting a feel for the place.The accommodation is beautifully designed with brilliant features in every corner.We had everything we needed at the cottage and Harry is a fab communicator giving us lots of helpful information.The town itself was buzzing with interesting characters and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ulverston and can't wait to return.

Lovely little home from home in a stunning location. Was as expected and looks like the photos. Feels very cosy and the dogs enjoyed laying in front of the electric fire after a day out walking. Great base for exploring the lakes, very close to Coniston, Ambleside, Hawkshead etc and if you don’t fancy driving you can easily walk to Coniston water in no time and Coniston in around 40 minutes. My favourite spot close by is the vegetarian cafe Undercrag Studio in Torver- a little hidden gem!
