Cottage holiday rentals in Brancaster Staithe

Thanks to Max for letting us use this lovely space. Myself and my partner booked in to get away for a few days and this place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, cosy and tucked away but still able to access all of the activities we planned in Norfolk. The house was spotless clean and you can tell Max has put a lot of thought into the amenities provided (even down to the ice lollies in the freezer!) The hot tub was a perfect touch to relax in the garden with some music on and some bubbles. The stay was amazing. Thank You!

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

The Gig House was fantastic. Beautifully presented and exactly as described. Situated within beautifully maintained grounds, and just a few seconds stroll to the spa, it was absolutely perfect for our girly getaway! Tan and Hannah’s communication was excellent and they were very helpful. Plus the spa was great, friendly staff, great treatments and lovely outdoor jacuzzi pool with sun loungers to relax and lap up the sunshine. Who could ask for more!

Spacious house. Good sized rooms. Good outside space. Nice and quiet. Bit difficult to get out of the drive by car as it was on a bend with little visibility. Cooking was by AGA ( except for microwave) . That would be great in winter but not ideal during the hottest week of the year.

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely time here our first overnight trip with our new baby. Brilliant hosts, the bread and eggs were a nice touch. Interesting cup lights in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend. Thanks :)

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful little town full of things to do and see (and the beach is not far away). The cottage is really well-appointed and full of cool things. The hot-tub was also a complete luxury!

Great place & host! Looked like the pictures & was near a lake. Nice forest walks close by to. Was a short drive to the beach, overall a nice play to stay!

Melanie’s cottage was great! We were greeted with prosecco and cupcakes which was a lovely additional touch. Holt is a beautiful town and a great base from which to explore from. Parking is in a paid for public car park- a designated space would top it off.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Thatch Cottage. An excellent base from which to explore the area. Liz proved a very attentive host and was concerned that our stay was the best we could have. The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. We appreciated the 'gift basket' - a nice touch that makes the visitor feel welcome. What was especially important for us was the 'dog safe' garden. Often host describe their rental as 'dog friendly' but they haven't provided a secure garden area. Liz made sure that her garden was well fenced off and we felt very happy that our dog was able to be free and safe. Thank you Liz.

Beautiful home in a perfect location. It had everything we needed (and more for our young family!) Loved the complimentary hamper and toiletries - was a lovely touch. We'll definitely be back - thank you!

Camilla couldn’t do more for us. On the hottest day of the year Camilla provided extra fans, an umbrella for the outside patio as well as assistance to open the velux roof windows. On the day of check out our dog was ill and needed emergency veterinary care. Camilla was very understanding and flexible to be able to support us. Can’t say thank you enough!

Beautiful cottage would highly recommend, everything of high quality, very peaceful with a short walk into Holt with lovely places to eat, The feathers was a favourite. Jon kept in touch to make sure everything was ok would definitely book again

What a lovely stay! Me my husband and my two dogs loved every moment ! Great cottage and amazing location, beaches 15 minutes in every direction. Local shops and bakeries in the nearby villages. And Jane the host was very helpful and informative ! Couldn’t fault it :)

Fabulous cottage in a great location near Blakeney Quay, 5 mins from great cafes and restaurants and walks. Garden is a regular suntrap all day. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Blakeney.

We’ve just returned from a wonderfully restful week at The Coach House in Weybourne, and it was everything we’d hoped for — and more. The property itself is exactly as described: well maintained, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home-from-home. Our host, Victoria, was truly excellent — warm, attentive, and full of local knowledge. What stood out most were her thoughtful suggestions for walks and local explorations. Thanks to her, we discovered some stunning coastal and countryside routes that we might otherwise have missed — the kind of places that don’t always make it into the guidebooks. Whether you’re looking for a base for a walking holiday, or simply a peaceful corner of Norfolk to unwind in, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Coach House.

Great, family-friendly place to stay. Peaceful, rabbits running around, lots of nice touches. We particularly loved the pool. Norfolk is a great spot for families!

Just returned from a welcome break at the OLD STABLES in Docking, our host Charles made my friend and I feel very welcome, everything was spotlessly clean. The bungalow itself was well equipped and ready for use. Would we use the place again -YES. Shop was close by for anything you had forgotten to take with you, and a nice friendly pub that made good food a short walk in the other direction, what more could we need ,nothing but a bit better weather !!!

Thankyou for a lovely stay- lovely cottage in a great location for exploring North Norfolk. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby, including family friendly spots. Staying at the cottage was very relaxing- clear instructions on how to find and get in, and everything was well prepared for our arrival. Helpful information on local tourist spots was provided as well.

A beautiful cottage, stylishly decorated and well presented with everything that you’d ever need, close at hand. Ideally located to access the north of the Norfolk coastline and beyond. A hidden gem that deserves a 5 star rating! Hannah is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend. Many thanks Hannah.

We have just come back from a fantastic 3 nights stay at Angie’s wonderful cottage in North Norfolk. The accommodation was spotless with high quality furniture and fittings. Angie has thought of everything and her attention to detail is impressive! The village of Binham is an excellent location for visiting the main attractions of North Norfolk and there is a great pub (The Chequers) and a great cafe (The Parlour) both within easy walking distance in the village. Angie’s communication from the initial booking through to the end of the stay was excellent. Plus there was a lovely welcome hamper with lots of local goodies! 100% recommended, we will definitely be returning!

Comfortable house in a quiet location & well equipped & maintained to a high standard. Outstanding house manual with laminated sheets for all appliances including heating & TVs. Also well compiled information folder re surrounding area re restaurants, places of interest etc. We would highly recommend Staithe View & Hetti as a Host.

Our stay was perfect, the weather meant we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden and the location was perfect for what we needed.
