Less than 30 mins to Sydney, 17 mins to the Wildlife Park, and 45 mins to the Fortress of Louisbourg. You will enjoy amazing privacy and a beautiful space. Bucklaw is central to all of Cape Breton’s major attractions. To determine distances, just put Bucklaw, NS into Google Maps.

Woodsy Cabin on the Bras d'Or

Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

Two double bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the second level. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap on the master bedroom balcony. A sunroom on the main floor completes this welcoming cottage.
