The Mozart city of Salzburg is only 25 km away and can be easily reached (only a 12-minute walk to the train station with P&R parking) by local train. Burghausen (home to the longest castle in the world) is also just 23 km (14 miles) away. Hallstatt is about 108 km (67 miles) away.
