Foxes hollow is a beautifully designed and placed cabin set in tranquil surroundings. Cozy and comfortable with some lovely added extras such as a wood fired hot tub and fire pit. It was the perfect escape from modern life. We loved the location, the cabin itself and the fresh local produce on offer. Mandy went above and beyond to help and was extremely responsive to any questions and requests. The perfect host! Thank you!! ☺️ 🌲 🌳 🦊

Neil’s place was brand spanking new and I think I was his first guest. Neil greeted me at the agreed time and walked me through everything in the lodge. The lodge was absolutely delightful. It was warm and cozy. Perfect for a one nights stay. I’m planning on coming back with my partner later in the year as it was so perfect. The local pub was only a few mins walk away. Great stay

We had a lovely stay at Tony’s. The hot tub was hot and so easy to use. It was completely private and had a lovely outdoor sitting area and table to eat meals outside. Tony put in milk, croissants and jam and a bottle of Prosecco which was very thoughtful. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

We had a lovely and peaceful 2 days in this beautiful, peaceful field surrounded by nature. Guy was extremely helpful and responsive which made me feel comfortable and was very reassuring. The cabin is just like the photos and very comfortable.

Beautiful cabin - cosy, peaceful and secluded. Loved the outdoor space with eating area, hot tub and fire pit. Mandy was brilliant - very responsive and friendly, and had great recommendations for the area. Alfriston within walking distance, gorgeous village with excellent pubs and shops. Would highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay for my partners 30th birthday. It was the most beautiful location and lodge. The sauna and hot tub were amazing, obviously took a while to heat up but that is expected with wood fired ones. Our only regret is that we didn’t book more nights! We will 100% be back.

Fabulous stay, my wife and daughters had the best rest ever. The ability to have the dogs with them was a great bonus. They loved everything about the place especially the hot tub. Great value for money and a great place for a peaceful relax. Well done you the Golden Cross Team

Jessica’s place was a wonderful choice we made . She was really helpful with guiding us to the place aa we were arriving a bit later than midnight . The place was really cute and neat inside. Definitely doing this again !

We’ve stayed at the Deer Lodge a few times now. We really enjoy our visits and feel right at home. There is plenty of space, the bed is comfortable and the outlook is lovely. Everything one needs for a relaxing break. See you again!

Our second stay here and we weren't disappointed. This is a simple set-up that offers peace and tranquility - a little clearing in the woods with a great outdoors kitchen and two simple cabins (these don't have beds, so you bring you own mattresses). There is plenty of cookware and fresh water and a handy sawdust loo, which is comfortable and easy to use. We've come with different friends each time and they - like us -- have loved it.

We had such a great stay at the cabin. It’s so secluded and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire pit under the stars with our dog. The bed was big and comfy and Nick was a communicative host. We’ll definitely be back.

Peaceful, well priced accommodation, hosts were friendly and helpful (as was Milo the dog!) with a meadow on site to walk my dogs on lead before their breakfast. Absence of wifi wasn't an issue for a short stay as 5G was accessible on my mobile.

Lovely, cosy cabin. It felt very private and peaceful. There were 4 of us and a pup and the size was perfect.

This is a beautiful gem of a place and extremely good value. The garden house is cosy and yet supremely functional. It has been well thought out. The kitchen is excellent with a gas stove, two ovens and an air fryer. There is an electric shower and large screen TV. The beds are very comfortable and up in the roof creating a very snug place for rest. I loved the place and will be back.

Beautiful lodge with such lovely surroundings, everything we could wish for, lovely watching the wild life, birds, fish even deer. We like our privacy and Carolin gave us that, would highly recommend.

Really, a very charming place. The cabin is better equipped than described, and the bed surprisingly comfortable and warm. The area in general is very peaceful, yet, if you need, civilisation is not so far away. In some respects, the best of both worlds. I had a family of ducklings with me for the duration of my stay and the resident kingfisher made several appearances, though I struggled to capture it on camera in spite of my best efforts... The site also has other unexpected pleasantries, nooks, crannies, stump circles and a communal shelter should it pour. I did have the site to myself so remained content with my own space, but it's a nice feature. The shower was a bit different, but actually worked quite well, to be fair, and did the trick. For those interested, phone signal was good. All in, I was sad to leave. I hope to return, perhaps during a different season... What a peaceful, tranquil haven.

Suzie greeted us when we checked in which was really lovely, especially as we were running late. This was not a problem and she stayed to show us the property. It had everything we needed for our short stay and was clean and comfortable. The lovely pastries for breakfast went down well with fresh milk topped up daily.

Michele was very accommodating of all our requests and went out of her way to be helpful. The cabin was lovely, clean and quiet. Lots of details had been thought of and amenities had been provided which made our stay very comfortable. Thank you!

We had a gorgeous stay with Susan on her farm. A really unique experience that made our trip to Brighton even more memorable! She was a great host and we loved the surrounding area of the farm, it was so peaceful. What really made it was being able to feed the farm animals! Absolutely loved it and safe to say we will be back! Hopefully for when the lambs might be here! Thank you so much for a great stay and a lovely time away from normal life.

Amazing stay in Brighton. The property had a stunning view and short bus drive into town Annaick kindly gave instructions for the public transport. The cabin was spotless with fantastic decoration and facilities. Would definitely stay again.
