Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Brighton

We had a great stay. Lovely peaceful neighborhood, great for running, though I'd recommend a car for getting around (or budget for some Ubers, which worked well for us). It's a big beautiful charming old house with some quirks, but clean nicely renovated and exactly as pictured. Appreciated the homey touches of some throw blankets, coffee table style books and board games. A step above your average Airbnb. Hosts were friendly and helpful! We'd love to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was spotless, plenty of off street parking, and comfortable beds. The cutest home with all the amenities you'd need! We were able to walk to dinner, and the host had awesome recommendations for all the local spots! Highly recommend, when we come back to town with will definitely stay again!

Great location. Spacious property with nice furniture

I stayed here for about two months and really loved it. Hein was super welcoming and friendly, which made everything easy. Anytime I had an issue, it was taken care of right away. It can get pretty hot in the summer, but Hein got the AC fixed, and after that, it was great. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place.

We were on a trip across half of the country and had not slept well until we stayed at Tim and Katie's. Even our anxious border collie got comfortable quickly there. The house is spacious, clean, and very inviting. The hosts were also quick to respond and try to assist when we thought we lost something important after leaving. 5 stars all the way around!

Probably the nicest funky place you could find. This is definitely somewhere you stay for some character but it also provides every amenity you could need for an extended stay. The actual neighborhood is quiet, parking is easy even without the pass, and it’s pretty much a 10 min drive to any restaurant or bar you could want. The host is super friendly and very responsive. When I’m back, I’m definitely staying here again.

The location was quiet and we could walk to dinner, coffee, and shopping. The space was clean and exactly as pictured and described. I would definitely stay here again.

We attended an event at the George Eastman Museum which was located less than a block away on East Avenue. We could easily walk or drive there. On the other end of this block is Park Ave where one can find numerous good venues for food of many kinds. Szechuan Opera Chinese is closest to the house and I ducked in there at 9:30 PM when they told me at that time it was to go only. The dish I ordered was a truly superb surprise ... not inexpensive but was excellent. We also dined Roux and Sinbad's who serve great food.

It was 2nd floor apartment that has separate door lock. Kendra was really kind host and instruction was clear. It was clean and beautiful airbnb. Sofa was just sofa, not sofabed. 2 queen beds were comfy and suitable for 4 people. My family could walk to strong museum of play, and my kids loved the museum(and this airbnb). There was a parking lot across the street. It's parking space of fitness center, but Kendra owns a lot. It has laundry facilities and dishwasher, and full kitchen. My favorite part was the skylight in the ceiling

Our stay at Leanne's was a good one. Her place was well located to our activities . The apartment was very tidy and clean, the bed was comfortable. Leanne responded promptly to our questions. There are only a few suggestions to make it even more ...placing the towels in the bathroom or nearby so a guest doesn't have to bother to call. More and larger towels, hand soap and a full roll and extra toilet paper would be better for more than a night stay. A side light on the left side of the bed would be helpful..None of these things would change our minds to stay or not stay it would just make ones stay even better. We certainly would stay again if we are ever in Rochester. We unfortuantely were there for a memorial but we were impressed with the unique architecture in the vicinity, the public art in the area and the museums that are in the city. We recommend a stop in Rochester if you are in the area or plan to visit the Finger Lakes. Leanne's place would be well worth considering.

This was a nice little apartment. The sheets were so soft, and the pillow selection was great. I may have assumed there would be a kitchen table to eat at (there’s a card table in the closet, and the coffee table is raw wood so a bit tricky to clean). I would not want to do a lot of cooking as there isn’t a dishwasher. But, there were nice extras like basic coffee and filters and spices for cooking, which I appreciate. There are plenty of things nearby - our favorite discovery was the chopped Roc sandwich at starlight, a market nearby.

Suzanne was an absolute joy. She greeted me upon arrival, oriented me to her living space, and we had such an engaging conversation. When I’m in town I’ll certainly be looking to use her space again. Thanks for it all ma’am.

The house was spotless, the location was perfect for walking to restaurants, the Eastman Museum, the Frank Lloyd Wright house, and so many other things we didn't even have a chance to do. We really appreciated the local decor in the house and especially the book of 100 Things to do in Rochester which added the Genessee brewery tour and a visit to the House of Guitars to our itinerary. Thank you for a great stay!

Tobiah was a fabulous host. He answered all questions promptly and was very helpful. We had a small gathering of family, coming from far apart and the condo was wonderful! It worked beautifully for our needs. We loved the view of the lake off the balconies-- especially with a full moon reflecting on it! The condo was well-appointed, with everything we needed. It was a very comfortable setting and close to hiking, wineries, and water activities, as well as cycling along the Erie Canal. The condo's location, a short distance between the towns of Naples and Canadaigua, made it easy to run an errand or go out eat. We highly recommend Tobiah's waterfront condo!

Booked as a surprised for my bills-fan husband the weekend of our wedding. Pretty cool place. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was fine! If you’re coming here to watch football- keep in mind it’s a projector screen and not a tv. Sound only comes from the projector. The screen isn’t taught so I don’t think it’d be be best place for watching parties. But other than that we had a great time!

Lovely space with beautiful view. Felt safe and peaceful. Kitchen thoughtfully equipped. Great nearby hikes. Very helpful and responsive host. Unfortunately the home owners association has forbidden access to the beach and the lake for renters and guests on weekends--you can't get thru the gate to get down there--you can only look at it from the balcony. But an excellent property besides that.

The condo was in a nice, quite development. There were plenty of stores and gas stations close by and easy access to the freeway.

This was great for the six of us to visit family in the area. Beds were comfortable and the kids toys was a nice touch. Thank you again we would stay again

Every time I visit home, I always try to book new places. This space was exactly as advertised, very clean, nice tucked away space. Brought back a lot of memories because the unit is right across the street from my old middle school. Elizabeth was a great host. Responses were on time and checking in was flexible. The garage was perfect for my rental. I plan on visiting Rochester again in July. If Elizabeth’s unit is available I will be booking again.

We had a fantastic stay at Gregory’s place! The location was just perfect for us—situated in a beautiful, historic neighborhood that was great for walking around and soaking in the local charm. It was close to everything we needed, including a lovely coffee shop just around the corner. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. Gregory was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made our stay even smoother. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely stunning. It was a perfect way to ring in the new year. Amy was very responsive, and the house was perfect. We hope to return one day.
