Monthly Rentals in Brooklin

Virginia’s place was great! It was secluded and quaint. I saw a few mixed reviews about the WiFi, but we had no issues at all it worked great. It is about an hour outside of Acadia national park and great location to have to explore the park.

Very homey and super peaceful. Would definitely come back and stay, it had everything we needed for our week stay. Was interesting to learn about the host’s father sailing career throughout the house.

The place in Brooklin was delightful. We arrived at the edge of the season so got to enjoy the surrounding area mostly to ourselves. Our hosts were kind and welcoming and not overly attentive. They got a kayak out of storage and took it to the dock for me which gave me a lovely morning on the nearby cove. They also gave us a later checkout which was really helpful to not have to jump up and get things cleaned and packed. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I stayed here with our 5-month-old (not walking/crawling yet) for our first family road trip (which can be stressful) and Tara & Wallace made it a wonderful stay. It's a perfect spot on the peninsula to explore all the great restaurants, hikes, shops, etc between Blue Hill, Brooksville (Tinderhearth) Stonington, and Brooklin, which is exactly what we came for. The place was super comfortable, the sunsets were as described and the stars were fantastic. The host's responsiveness was especially helpful when I accidentally locked us out of the unit with a crying baby in the car! Would definitely stay again!
