Holiday rentals with breakfast in Brookline

Connie’s place was a dream. I loved everything about it: the space, the comfort, the quiet, the location. And Connie herself is wonderful. I could t have imagined a better place to stay for my first time in Cambridge.

The house was very clean and organized. Additional seating in the living room would be nice and kings beds instead of queen size beds would be better. They left snacks and bottle water for us to have which was appreciated, but we found open gallons of beverages and open food packages in the refrigerator. We also questioned the sign in the kitchen stating no cooking allowed. Honestly, that’s why we stay at Airbnb’s Overall, our stay was comfortable.

Christie is a great host—very responsive to messages. Her place is clean and conveniently located near a subway station, with easy access to downtown Boston in about 40 minutes. Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described—if not better. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was ideal, close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. Would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience!

Thomas is an exceptional host and this place is absolutely amazing! The house has a beautiful aesthetic and a calming vibe, and it was spotless and very well-managed. I especially loved how the room was organized, it had a romantic charm to it that really stood out. The furniture was top notch and honestly the place looks so much better in person than in photos (which is rare!). This was actually my first Airbnb stay in the States and I ended up being an hour late for checkout. Thomas was incredibly kind and didn’t even charge me for the delay, such a thoughtful gesture. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and just adds to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, and I’ll say it again, it’s ten times better in person! Thank you Thomas for your hospitality, will surely keep coming back to your place frequently hereafter! Hahaha

Hospitable host. Made sure breakfast was available every day. The place is beautiful, well decorated. It made me want to stay longer. Donnell is great to talk to, respectful of your privacy, and available if you need anything. I had a great time.

Carols place is a hidden gem. It was such a peaceful space to rest our heads at night, and it was an absolute joy to wake up to the sounds and view of nature. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely beautiful and felt like home. My bedroom looked out over an enormous formal garden and the bay, with an easy walk to the "T". This will be my go-to place in Boston.

This was the cutest place! We all loved the garden space. The deck was very inviting. Rhona was kind enough to leave English muffins and butter for us. The selection of tea was fabulous! The bouquet and house plants made it feel very homey. There was an area close by that had a convenience store, a Dunkin Donuts, and a few decent restaurants. We would stay here again if we come back.

This place was amazing. I would come back here. I feel like we won the Airbnb lottery. It is nice to have a host that is a real person and not a company. This place is well taken care of. 1. It was much larger than I was expecting. 2. It was so clean. Probably the cleanest Airbnb I have been to. 3. There were basics in the cabinets like coffee and creamer ( such a nice touch). and some items in the fridge and freezer which made it really easy to start our day. 4. It was beautifully decorated and the garden was so pretty and nice to take coffee and wine out there. 5. We were here in the spring and it was an easy walk into town(15-20 minutes). We both like walking, but there was a spot for a car if needed. Thank you for such a wonderful time.!!

Beautiful house – fridge was stocked with eggs, butter, milk, and fruit upon arrival, as well as bathroom items. Clean and has good light and windows. It is super close to the beach! Owners are very accommodating. Highly recommend!!

Lavette put a lot of care into making sure her place was very welcoming and thought of lots of little things many bnb hosts do not. Neighborhood was quiet and the bed was as comfy. The kitchen had the basics like oil/spices/cookware which was nice. The towel warmer felt especially luxurious! As others mention, make sure you read the additional rules as there are a handful in addition to the bnb regulars you expect. If you are bringing a guest they will need to make an airbnb account and verify their identity if they have not already, which is not something we’ve been asked in the past, just as a heads up. Overall a lovely place to stay

David & Jenny’s place was exactly as described. We felt welcomed there and their communication was top notch! We had an enjoyable stay and recommend them as hosts!

I used to live in the Boston area, and know what neighborhoods work well when I come back to visit. Watertown is one of them, with the 71 bus to Harvard Square, express bus to downtown Boston, and very nice surroundings reachable by bicycle (Blue Bikes) : Watertown, Belmont, Newton etc. --- so Patrick's location is great. The BnB itself works seamlessly, with Patrick upstairs and two other guests on the ground floor with me. A cleaner comes to tidy. All is provided. Patrick is always reachable. Arrival is easy with a code. Overall, exactly like a B and B is expected to work. Patrick also has full apartment available on the top floor that I would love to use when coming with others.

Great location, apartment was clean and looked like the photos. Very comfortable, all amenities within the apartment, we did tend to eat out, but everything was available if, we had wanted to cook in. Beds were very comfortable 😴😴. Linen & towels were spotless and a beautiful clean smell from them. Washer and dryer was a fab bonus 🥰 Definitely would stay again, but you need a car to travel, Boston was 20 minutes by car, but we also got a train in, when it was snowing. Uber picked us up within 4 minutes and dropped us to train station which was about 5-6 minutes away. Amanda 🥰

This place was cozy, comfortable, clean and quiet. Very responsive owner. Easy to get to the city by public transportation or car. Will stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Robin's place... like home away from home. Very comfortable beds, fabulous kitchen for those who love to cook. Kitchen is FULLY stocked with all essential and then some! You'll love this place! Thanks so much Robin! I'm sure we'll be back!!

A beautiful craftsman style house near the center of Newton and a short drive to anywhere in the Boston area.

Grace the owner was very nice. The house was magnificent if you appreciate Victorian architecture. But the first night our room was very hot and it seemed like there was no air conditioning. Other wise, it was perfect!

We were just in for a quick evening but everything was communicated very appropriately.

Staying at Myra’s beautiful home was one of the most joyful experiences in all my travels. Though far from family, I felt instantly welcomed into a space full of warmth and character. The house exudes timeless charm—book-lined rooms, plush couches, and sunlit corners that invite you to relax. My cosy single room was ideal—even for a tall guest just off a long flight from Australia—and I could happily have stayed much longer. Each morning began with a nourishing, delicious breakfast and truly exceptional coffee. Myra’s attention to detail and genuine care made every part of the stay feel special. Set in a peaceful neighbourhood just 15 minutes by car or 30 by train from the city, the location was perfect for both business and leisure. Once free of luggage (a taxi was ideal), I enjoyed the pleasant walk to Newton Centre and easy commute into town. This home radiates care, comfort, and quiet charm. I hope to return soon and enjoy another coffee in those bright, welcoming rooms.

A+. This place is why I come to Airbnb: unique, immersive, and full of character. I stayed in the Witches Dorm, and it felt like part of the adventure, not just a place to sleep. The decor was rich and authentic, and the common room was so cozy I spent hours writing and reading there. The 2 twin beds were comfy (even for a 6'1" guest.) Hope, the host, is fascinating and has some amazing stories, but also totally respects your space. She keeps the common area well-stocked with snacks, coffee, and drinks, which made mornings and late nights easy. Uber was always available and affordable (~$6–10), making it easy to get around if you don’t feel like walking the scenic 25–30 mins to downtown. The walk downtown can be super varied tho—walking along the coastline one day, thru a park the next, and a myriad of ways down tiny New England streets w cute houses all about the same travel time. My first time in Salem. Felt safe at all hours. Would absolutely stay at this property again. A+

Sad to be leaving. First morning I was awoken by the sounds of birds chitchatting and a warm inviting glow peeking through the windows. Open the French door and listen to the gentle rustling of leaves, the cool breeze flowing in. I could do this for longer. But it’s time to go back to reality. Thank you Joan for hosting.
