The village adjoins the Orchardleigh Estate - a popular wedding venue, 3 miles from the market town of Frome and 12 miles from the cultural centre of Bath. Longleat is about 15 minutes away, Stonehenge about half an hour.

Owl cabin is a peaceful & cosy retreat, situated in our garden next to our house on the edge of our woodland, a haven for deer, badgers & owls. From the veranda you can watch our free-range ducks & chickens, buzzards & red kites thermalling over the valley & horses coming and going. There is a private, woodland garden with a wood fired hot tub to enjoy the views or gaze at the stars. There are lots of lovely walks including across the fields to the local pub and Bath is only 15-20 mins by car.

Set in a 18th C. stone outbuilding, it is very quiet and independent . It has a kitchenette, not for home cooking but perfect to refrigerate & heat up food and make hot drinks. There are 2 great pubs within a short walking distance. This is the perfect nest for a visit to Bath, Longleat, Stonehenge & more.

Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. If you'd like to bring your horse with you we can arrange it!

This leaves the whole of the top floor as a light, airy bedroom with a kingsize bed. Huge Velux windows frame the view over the hill and field behind. Parking outside for 1 car (more if needed). Our cottages Pears and Lavender are located just a 2 minute walk from the centre of our fantastic village of Beckington. The house looks over fields and countryside yet only 12 miles from Bath and 3 miles from the very cool town of Frome. We have a farm shop and cafe right on your doorstep as well as two great pubs. all perfect for your stay so you can enjoy country walks, log fires. We welcome well-behaved dogs, not suitable for 2 dogs, please provide further advice on breed when booking.
