Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage has been renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and fine wooden veranda, where you sit very private, with beautiful views. Within 5 min. you drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you can find supermarkets, nice shops and catering. The dunes and the forest are within walking distance and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 min.

This double clotting farm dates back to the 17th century. A beautiful holiday home of more than 100m2 has recently been built in the front house behind the barn doors. All facilities are located on the ground floor. Such as a spacious sitting area with views of the West-Frisian Circular Dyke, a cooking island and a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. A garden with terrace is available. The sea is within cycling distance, where the quietest beaches of the Netherlands are located.

Between dike and sea

Between Westfriesche enringdijk and Zee is the small rural village of Burgerbrug. In the back of the barn is a cozy apartment where you can relax wonderfully. The area is beautiful. Breakfast service is not provided. However, there is a fridge, combination microwave and 2 burner induction hob provided. TV in the bedroom is for streaming only. Private shower and toilet. Take a break and unwind at this natural oasis with beautiful views of the countryside and in the evening enjoying the setting sun on the private terrace. This chalet furnished with a Dutch twist, is located on a separate section around our farm that has been around since 1885. It is a wonderful stay for 2 people but also definitely suitable for a family. Come and enjoy the picturesque Burgerbrug, near Schagen, Schoorl, Bergen, Alkmaar but also the beach in Petten!

The cottage has its own entrance and a long garden that runs through to the back to the fruit orchards where the sheep graze through.
