Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Burgh Castle

Lovely stay for a sunny weekend family getaway. Dax was really responsive and helpful, the house was lovely and only 10 mins to Gorlestone beach which was amazing for the kids with the free splash park and expansive gorgeous sand. Lots of amenities were provided and the hot tub was a great addition for chilled evenings. All round a great stay- would recommend!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Little Tern and we loved it just as much as the first time. Little Tern is a lovely property and perfect for us as just a ten minute walk to the beach. It is a homely property and has everything you need. It’s lovely and clean and plenty of space. Great bathrooms and great bedrooms. We can’t wait to come back again and stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at Caroline’s modern home! The place was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and had such a warm, homely feel that immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. It was exactly what me and my partner needed for a peaceful getaway. The blend of modern touches with cozy comforts made it a truly special experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend!

Tommy was a fab host. Communication was great and really fast - especially when I couldn’t figure out the oven and dinner was at risk lol. He was really thoughtful organising a cushion to be posted to us for the high chair. Definitely a host to recommend.

This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed in! The barn is spotless, had everything you need - and wonderful touches such as garden games and board games. The surrounding area is peaceful - with birdsong all day long. We spent a short but fabulous visit enjoying the space, the garden, the views and the hot tub! Just wonderful. Shaun is incredibly helpful and friendly. We will certainly be going back!

We had a wonderful stay at Horizon house. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. So close to the beach and amenities! Great having space for 2 cars off street parking too, made unloading/ loading much easier.

Fantastic stay in this immaculate home! Host very accommodating and responsive! We had the most lovely stay and will definitely be coming back for a longer stay! All the little touches like the hamper very well received-thank you!

Rosemarys place was wonderful! Communication was perfect throughout, very lovely lady. The caravan was so well equipped and had such a lovely homely feel, really quiet part of the park aswell. Will definitely be back again. Thanks so much.

Wow what a lovely place to stay! It’s immaculate and has so much included what with the Hamper on arrival, kids toys and books and games, DVDS, spotlessly clean and the quality of the linen impressive! I would go as far as saying it’s the cleanest place we have stayed and in terms of location it’s perfect! All in walking distance! Comfy beds and sofas! I can not fault this place one bit! If you book you will not be disappointed! It’s on a lovely site with pool £4 per child and £5 per adult well worth it so clean and tidy! Lovely bar on site too all dog friendly! Get booking you will not be disappointed!

We had such a lovely time. Location was peaceful and the accommodation was perfectly placed for planned activities and so close to the beach. Inside was clean and lovely and warm and Hannah was fantastic at answering any questions very quickly and also making sure we were settled in. Thank you.

We booked a few nights away, very well kept and clean chalet. Hosts were very attentive to any messages or questions we had. Made our weekend very enjoyable and we will be booking again

Was perfect for what we needed park was nice and peaceful this time of year, caravan was lovely and clean, kitchen well stocked up with utensils pans etc there’s a onsite restaurant which is good reasonably priced food and drinks. Passes for park are £12 per person a week which you purchase extra as it’s a private listing , we used caravan while our house was being renovated so perfect local base for us, we have 2 dogs so this caravan is nicely placed out of main area so it’s peaceful no noise from people or cars going past to get home after entertainment etc, Definitely recommend to anyone we had no issues while we stayed so didn’t need to contact owner Thank you for letting us stay at your home

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

We have had a lovely week at David’s cottage. It has everything you could need and more. We loved the kitchen and the garden. The locations great we have really enjoyed the week thanks for having us ⭐️

We stayed at the barn for my mum’s 60th birthday and it was perfect! The barn is really beautiful we loved how it was decorated. So stunning! We went on a lovely walk nearby and it was only a short drive to Southwold where we spent the day! There was a storm in the night the lovely ladies checked in to make sure we were ok! Chris and Melissa were perfect hosts. With a very friendly welcome it was nice to meet them as they were away on our last visit. Georgie their sweet dog was very happy to see us and our dog too. The barn is a real sanctuary and beautifully furnished with the best kitchen. Garden is shared with a private corner too. Our dog could wander where he liked as did Georgie. Thanks will return again.

this is a great little find in an ideal location, near to beach, shop, pub/restaurant, tea room and fish and chip shop. the accomodation was spotless and had loads of little extras like welcome pack, sauces, tea coffee salt pepper, jams butter, toiletries etc. it also had a small private back garden with multiple seating areas , we would highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to our next visit Thankyou 😁

We had a lovely stay at Sophie’s place. The property is stunning and was as described in the listing. Check in was super easy as well. Kitchen was also very well equipped. Sophie and Steve were both very responsive hosts and were able to provide some great suggestions which helped us plan our weekend in Norfolk. Thank you both!

We stayed at Birchwood Barn as a family with 3 small children. Our stay was perfect from the moment we arrived with Alice arranging 3 gift bags personalised for each of our children. They absolutely loved it and it was a fantastic way to start our bank holiday weekend away. The communication from Alice both prior to and during our stay was excellent and we felt very well looked after. Everything in the property is clean and tidy with all amenities provided. The property is exactly as described, excellent privacy of the outdoor spaces. We enjoyed the large duck pond with duck food provided for our children to feed the ducks. The garden was also a nice size with our children able to play without being overlooked. The location is perfect, with local shops and restaurants nearby and Horsey beach a short drive away to go seal spotting. There were a number of different local companies to arrange day boating on the broads. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would certainly go back.

Nice little place very quiet and not too far from local beach. The WiFi is alittle ropey at the back of the property but the rest was perfect :). Lovely touch with the double doors and sun loungers for the very private garden. 🙂

we were pleased to be able to get our daughter in a large power wheelchair into the bungalow with no hassle. all doorways inside were also accessible. we enjoyed being only a very short walk to the beach and also to a good pub serving excellent food. the garden is very private. a bbq and a couple of sun beds would be perfect! Alex's was the perfect host, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
