Karen was incredibly nice and very clear on check-in and check-out instructions. plow driver was there first thing every morning cleaning the driveway and the house is very cozy. We hope to come back at a warmer time and enjoy everything the place has to offer! Thank you to Karen for sharing her home and being a great guest!

Walter was an excellent host. The house location is amazing and on such a beautiful piece of property. Access to hiking trails, proximity to town and spectacular views made our stay very enjoyable this winter. We will definitely look to return next year! What a great area of VT.

A wonderful stay! Close to several beautiful hikes and quietly tucked away within Franconia Notch State Park. Great amenities as well as clearly described responses and instructions from Jenna. Would definitely stay again!

Michael's home is just perfect. Clearly they put a tremendous amount of thoughtful consideration into the design and decoration of their home. It has everything you need and is charming and comfortable. We can't wait to stay again!

Kara’s house was perfect for our weekend at Jay Peak! We stayed at the tail end of the ski season and Kara was super flexible about check in and check out! She was so responsive and helpful with check in and any questions we had. The house was ideal for our group, great living space and basement with foosball table that we put to good use :) I would definitely recommend staying here for your weekend trip up to Jay Peak!

We are thrilled with our stay! We were a mix of 6 adults, tweens and teens and were perfectly comfortable in the bedrooms and expansive living spaces. The three levels - all with creature comforts - means everyone can spread out nicely. We took full advantage of the ski-in-ski-out over two days. The adults enjoyed après ski on the deck while the kids took their last runs - being right beside a main chairlift made this quite enjoyable! The kitchen was well appointed too, with all the necessary appliances, and lots of pantry space. We easily cooked all meals. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed time by the fire, the hot tub, and even the lit Christmas tree :) Finally, the hosts were responsive, helpful and friendly. We will be back!

Peaceful private space in a lovely part of central Vermont, close to Montpelier.

We had a great time at Nicolas's place. We've stayed on the mountain a few times and love the location. The fact that it is two floors is nice so you don't hear someone over you (we've had that in the past). The kitchen was very well stocked, there was plenty of hot water, and laundry was great. All the beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets. My kids are older, but there was plenty of toys for younger kids. FYI about location - The house really needs Panorama trail to be open (or at least skiable). That trail does require walking down the street a bit, and that was easy for my family. The trail wasn't open initially so we had to walk further to get on Chouette trail (and that was a challenge in boots and carrying skis) so we just decided to drive to the lodge (less than 5 mins) for a few days. This worked fine for us. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed for several weeks during the winter and had a great time. Florence and the property manager were both friendly and responsive to our questions. The house is well stocked, very comfortable and plenty warm even on very cold days. The view is spectacular! The house is situated such that we got to see the winter sunrise and sunset every day over the mountains! The dirt road is well maintained by the town in the winter though I would caution anyone visiting during mud season that the ruts can be quite impressive. Overall it was a great experience and we'd love to return!

My wife and I settled into Sweet Retreat for a two-month long stay as remote workers. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the tranquility of the location and the friendliness our hosts, Ray and Hannah. Working remotely can sometimes be challenging, but the peace and quiet here provided an ideal environment to focus and get the job done. The local wildlife was wonderful to watch from the big porch! As for the living space, it was simply perfect. It was thoughtfully equipped with all the comforts we could ask for, making our stay an effortless one. What truly sets Sweet Retreat apart are the hosts. Both Ray and Hannah were very friendly and attentive, while also respecting our privacy. )ur stay at the Sweet Retreat was both peaceful and productive. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and immersive stay in beautiful Vermont!

Dan was a great host. Communicated well, was very responsive…we have stayed at Jay many times over the years and appreciated that the house was stocked, we had everything we needed for our stay…just like it was our place. Sounds simple but usually we’re running to get the little things and it was nice to just be able to relax and know they were there. Thanks Dan, we will be back!! Oh and the 300+ inches of snow was kinda cool too!

I am very appreciative of the opportunity to stay at the Maple Lodge. It’s a lovely house with just the right amount of room. Joe and Flo are very friendly and responsive. It’s clean and in good repair. It’s a safe setting for kids with games and puzzles. It’s set up for comfort and easy conversation. They even have their own maple syrup and jelly for sale. I felt at home there. Julie

If you're looking for a rustic experience, with some modern amenities, in a secluded, peaceful area with stunning views, this is the place to be!

A really nice alternative to a hotel setting. The cottage is private and great views of Jay Peak. Would stay again for sure.
