About 2 minutes walk to the pond, 600m from the house is a supermarket. There are plenty of tourist attractions in the area - Eden center, Pernštejn castle, western town Šiklův mlýn, natural swimming, forests, and more.

In the wider surroundings, there is also Svojanov Castle, Zubštejn, Aueršperk, Svratka, Devět skal, Pohledecká skála.... Well-marked cycling (excellent terrain) and hiking trails.
