Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Caelian Hill

Had a wonderful stay - a great hideaway from Romes hustle bustle- beautiful property with gardens and views of the city. Train station is 30 minutes drive away. I would love to revisit and stay at this property again

Le logement proposé est complètement conforme aux photos et à la description. L’arrivée était facile et sécurisée, tout était bien rangé et propre. La maison est spacieuse et l’espace extérieur très agréable. Emmanuella était très sympathique et réactive. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Rome et nous recommandons ce logement.

Clean and comfortable house. Much larger than a hotel room. Stunning views of the lake.

Ginevra’s apartment was lovely!! It has a lovely courtyard with lemon trees and places to relax. The decor of the apartment is beautiful and the beds and linens were pristine. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals and we were even welcomed with some juice/water and treats. (Thank you!) Also the bathrooms (2) were very clean and the showers lovely. The location of the apartment is not in the ancient part of the city but buses and trains are close and with good shoes the walk to the Vatican is doable. The neighborhood is not great (compared to the more touristy areas) but again it’s easy to get around and go to the other areas of the city and we felt very safe. Communication with the hosts was great. Would definitely recommend as it was a lovely retreat after long days of exploring for my family of 3.

Massimiliano and his father Maurizio are, above all, wonderful people—welcoming and pleasant. They are always available to help in any situation. They provided us with excellent instructions on what to do and where to go. If we revisit Rome, we will definitely stay with them again. I highly recommend them to all future guests. 😍🤩

Mana’s place was great. First floor apartment so no stairs to clime. The second bedroom requires a few narrow steps and also the living room which is in the basement. Location, location, location. This what makes Mana’s place unique. A few steps from the famous Trevi Fountain. Mana was extremely helpful. She was there to receive us when we arrived and help us get taxis when we need them the most. In continuous communication with us throughout the trip. I highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The location was fantastic—very convenient for getting around. The Spanish Steps, along with several great shops and restaurants, are just around the corner. The space was clean and exactly as described in the listing. The pullout couch wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was fine for a couple of nights. Just a heads-up: there’s only one bathroom, which can be a bit challenging with five people, but we managed. The host was excellent—very friendly and super responsive. Would recommend!

Perfect location in Rome in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do. The views of the Pantheon from the living room was breathtaking and we loved ending each day in the Piazza next to the Pantheon. Communication was great.

100 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We’ve been all over the world staying in 5 star hotels on occasions even , this home is well Above 5 stars! It’s HUGE, the views are dream like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The bathrooms are modern and amazing views from every single window even the bathroom! The host makes you feel like family and he’s so helpful! Even helped arrange transportation for us very early in the morning! I cannot say enough positive things and I will only stay at this home in Rome When I visit again! We were a family of 6 with kids and it was plenty of space!!!!!!!!! Don’t hesitate and book this! No way you will regret it!

The place was great. Very big from our experiences in Italy. Plenty of room for a family with small kids. It was easily walkable to all the top Rome locations. Also several great restaurants right out the door. The place is in the middle of the nightlife district so be prepared with white noise apps/machines. It is loud at night but they provide ear plugs. I would still suggest having your own white noise. Thank you!

Gianluca was a gentleman. He checked us in person and he was quite accommodating with our help travel coming into the city. The place is so closely located to the termini and metro lines that you could to anywhere in the city. A true gem. The interior also had an Italian charm that our family quite enjoyed.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Lovely appartment and clean with everything we needed. The location was perfect, could walk to pretty much anything we visited. Marco was very quick to communicate with us if we needed assistance and extremely helpful.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at your beautiful apartment. My favorite area was your outdoor patio area in turn the view was serine and spectacular! I spent most of the time in this area whether having breakfast in the morning and returning in the evening. I also found the bedroom to be quite cozy and the bed and linens to be very comfortable. Their home gave you time away from the busyness of the city and was a peaceful setting! Yet just down the street was the busyness of a beautiful city with great restaurants, which was a great balance! As a couple, they were a very easy to communicate with and met any need Irequest requested. Overall, I was more than pleased and will be returning!!

Asunto on ihanan tilava ja tyylikkäästi sisustettu. Neljäs kerros, mutta talossa on hissi. Kuitenkin myös portaita kuljettavana. Makuuhuonejärjestelyt sopivat parhaiten enintään 4 aikuiselle ja 2 lapselle, koska pienemmän makuuhuoneen toinen vuode on varsinaisen vuoteen alta esiin tuleva varavuode ja lähinnä lapselle sopiva. Päämakuuhuoneessa on täysimittainen parisänky. Parvella on vuodesohva jossa mahtuu nukkumaan kaksi aikuista. Aika kovat patjat, kaipasin sijauspatjaa lisäämään nukkumismukavuutta. Keittiössä oli riittävästi astioita mutta pohjoismaisen majoittujan kannalta puutteita: ei filtterikahvinkeitintä, vedenkeitintä eikä mikroaaltouunia. Asunnon sijainta on loistava: keskeinen, mutta rauhallinen. Muutaman askeleen päässä runsaasti ravintoloita ja elintarvikemyymälä noin 100 metrin päässä. Samoin taksiasema noin 100 metrin päässä. HInta tuntui aika korkealta mutta asunnon loistava sijainti, viihtyisyys ja hulppeat tilat huomoiden hinta-laatu on kohdallaan.

My parents wanted to stay in a peaceful countryside and this was the perfect place! Surrounded by nature, this very rustic and charming house is what made us feel like we were in the heart of Italy. The best part was how accommodating our hostess Maria was. She offered to pick us up from the train station as we got a bit lost, she also offered to show us around town on our first day there. She really made the area of Roca di pappa have a lasting impression. Thank you Maria, for being such a warm and generous host!

La casa è la più bella in cui abbia mai alloggiato! Arredata in stile moderno, ma originale, ambiente molto curato nei dettagli e super pulito. Ha tutti i comfort. Una cucina splendida e attrezzatissima. Vanity set in bagno con cose che non avevo mai trovato altrove. Mi sono sentita come a casa. La location è perfetta. Area tranquilla, immersa nel verde, ambiente rilassante. Tra una visita e l’altra mi sono goduta il giardino, il divano super comodo e la TV con l’accesso a Netflix. Cosme, il padrone di casa è stato gentilissimo e premuroso. Mi ha chiesto ancor prima di arrivare se avevo bisogno di qualsiasi cosa che avrebbe potuto comprare per me. Durante il soggiorno è venuto a conoscermi e mi ha dato tantissimi consigli utili per visitare la città e navigare il quartiere di San Lorenzo, che ho trovato molto autentico e vivace. Insomma, ho trovato una gemma nascosta in questa casa! Io tornerò di sicuro e consiglio vivamente a tutti l’esperienza.

We stayed on my for one night, before heading to the airport the next morning. I'm so sad we didn't stay longer! the house and garden are so so beautiful. The primary suite is incredible, luxurious, has private terrace. the kitchen is so well appointed. we cooked a beautiful meal with ingredients that were already there and ate outside in the garden, played music on the guitar and piano, enjoyed the garden, and different spaces. it was so pleasant and comfortable, perfect for our large group - 8 adults and 4 kids. rafaelle was so communicative and helpful, even brought snacks and things for us. He met our every need. I hope we can stay here again in the future for a few more days.

Nous sommes arrivés en voiture et ce fut un agréable moment. Parfait pour juxtaposer les visites de sites et vacances en amoureux avec la piscine, le sauna et le jacuzzi. 😊👍💯 Tout était fonctionnel et en rapport avec les photos. Les petites attentions comme les gâteaux italiens ou le café sont très appréciables. La climatisation permet de bien dormir. 😴☀️😎 . Nous avons passé un moment magique dans cette très belle ville de Rome, avec un hôte formidable. Beaucoup mieux qu'un hôtel. 🎉🎈🎊

The home is a charming mix of old world decor and modern amenities. Laura was the consummate host—very responsive, friendly and professional. The house is in a neighborhood, so you will hear barking dogs from time to time. There are two grocery stores a short walk away. And we found it quite easy to get wherever we needed to go from there in our rental car (for which secure parking was also available). Our only complaint was that the beds were too firm for our old bodies (all in our 70’s).

Giorgio's house was perfect for us. Working remotely during the week, we could enjoy the beautiful nearby attractions and eat deliciously in the many restaurants available in the region. And on weekends we spent in Rome, where you can get there by train for €1, and on Saturday and Sunday the parking at the station is practically empty and free. The layout is excellent. We lived very comfortably in the house. We highly recommend it ☺️
