Petite maisonnée de 6m2 avec terrasse couverte et grand filet de détente suspendu, perchée au milieu des arbres dans un cadre calme. Première présence humaine (nous !) à 200m : vous serez bien seul au milieu des bois. L’accès à pied pendant 300m comporte une partie à forte pente. Café et thé sont à disposition. Nous proposons des repas maison. Linge de lit fourni, linge de toilette non fourni. Communication via Airbnb, car le téléphone ne capte pas bien chez nous (dans la cabane c’est bon).

Everything was perfect! The apartment is impeccable and peaceful. Very good bedding. We were able to enjoy the private parking and the proximity of the footbridge 2 min walk to reach the hyper center.

Thank you for a really great stay. The home is literally accessed from a beautiful cloister. All within walking distance. The apartment is beautifully decorated, the bed is comfortable (firm mattress) and the double glazing cuts off the outside sounds. It feels like the host put a lot of heart into their home. Where do we start! Thierry’s communication from booking was excellent. When we arrived Thierry met us with enthusiasm and showed us around our part of his castle! The castle, built in the 1500’s, has been lovingly restored and has all the mod cons needed! He is a very proud owner and has so much knowledge! His english put our French to shame as he has mastered it well! Thierry spent time with us when we arrived explaining the village and things to do in the area and would message with suggestions he thought we may be interested in (market at Carmaux etc) which was very helpful! When it was 34deg outside the castle was a much needed cool retreat! I can’t fault the accommodation, the area or the owner at all! Don’t hesitate to book Thierry’s part of history -you won’t regret it. Thierry, thank you for your hospitality and if we are ever in the area we will not hesitate to book with you again!

We absolutely loved our time in Albi! The views are beautiful, the place is comfortable and everything we needed was nearby including an amazing grocery store and gorgeous medieval villages. It was wonderful the hosts themselves for a quick chat! Such a lovely couple! Check in was easy with clear communication. Only comment is we would’ve preferred to have the key left for us somewhere. We do AirBnB a lot and usually find this flexibility most convenient. Sometimes when you travel it’s hard to stick to a check in time. (Of course there was a range here but just a key would’ve been ideal). We absolutely recommend and we LOVED the fact that we were not in the center of the town but on a quiet hilltop retreat. Thank you for hosting us!!
