Beachfront holiday rentals in Cala Gonone

From the minute we booked Fabio's place he has been a first class host. Always replied to questions and has been extremely helpful both before and during our stay, nothing was too much trouble for him. The property was pristine and it is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood just 2 minutes walk to the beach with a selection of bars and restaurants to eat and drink from. We cant reccommend this property highly enough and if motorcycling is your thing it is perfectly located to explore the amazing roads and scenery Sardinia has to offer. I had a great stay at Orietta’s place! The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and located in a quiet and beautiful area. Orietta was a kind and thoughtful host—she gave clear instructions and was always available for questions. I really appreciated her reminders before check-out, and everything went smoothly. This place is one in a million because it is a reflection of an authentic , organic and natural Sardinian experience . No frills , no excess and very minimalist with the most spectacular and beautiful surroundings. Cannot go wrong staying here . Great apartment and location. The apartment was as advertised. The location was first rate. It was close to the marina, where I’d highly recommend renting a boat or taking a guided tour to hit all the beaches. The beaches are amazing and touring the caves and hidden beaches was amazing. There are many restaurants nearby, notably a place right around the corner offering to go boxes for your hike or boat tour. We went in May and there were other tourists, but SMN didn’t feel “touristy.” The townspeople were very kind and accommodating. In summary, I highly recommend this property and will likely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Catherina's place, with excellent hospitality and constant kindness from Benjamin , always available . Sweet home , little blue and white cocoon is very well located (on foot) close to the beautiful beaches and a splendid pine forest . Santa Lucia is a small family resort that is both peaceful and lively, with a diverse range of restaurants and local entertainment! Hopefully we can get back to that!

The accommodation is very nice and well-kept. Very well equipped and perfect in all its spaces including the parking for the car. Very bright with a beautiful terrace that unfortunately, given the rain we could use little! Highly recommended

A dream surrounded by nature! We were lucky and were able to spend the first few days almost alone on the small property. That was really beautiful. When all apartments are occupied, it is a bit fuller and louder. But the location compensates for everything. Vacation with a 1.5 year old child worked great here. Playground is nearby and the garden invites you to explore!

We were there in the low season in early June. During the time of our stay, the other two apartments were not rented in the house, so we had it very quiet. Our host Riccardo was super nice, the contact was straightforward and friendly. If we had any questions, we got a quick response. The place was a few minutes from the sea, but you couldn't go into the water right at the house because it's rocky there. It took about 10 minutes to walk to the sandy beach. The beach is very nice and clean, with light sand. There was an umbrella in the apartment. There is a bar in the beach that offers drinks and tanks. In the village there is also a small supermarket. However, it is a bit expensive for larger purchases, so it's a good idea to shop in a larger city. Worth a visit is the neighboring town of Santa Lucia. This is also right by the sea and in the middle of the pine forest. There are numerous restaurants there

It was a lovely stay and we felt right at home. It had everything we needed.

We had an amazing 5 nights stay at Libeccio, with incredible outdoor pool & convenient outdoor shower to wash away the sandy beaches after tanning all day! The villa was clean and well equipped for any travellers needs. From the state of the art Samsung TV, two types of coffee machine and cute espresso cups to the comfortable swinging chair and lounger outside, the villa was an example of paradise, perfection and precise planning on behalf of the host, who, throughout the entirety of our stay was available for any questions or assistance. If we could live in the villa for the remainder of the year - or decade - we would. A great find in a great location. Perfecto! 💙

Really cool place with the beautiful pool... mountain views... and right across from a beach. Plus, if you rent a car, so much within driving distance to see. If you're there in the off season, could be too quiet and you have to drive for shopping.

To welcome homemade cake, water and a bottle of wine. An extensive beach in front of the door (5 min), sea view and beautiful red mountains. At the entrance of a wonderful hiking area! Facing south, with large covered terrace. We ended the evenings at the pizza oven. Mario and Silvia kept asking if everything liked. We thoroughly enjoyed the time. If you are looking for tourist crowds, you certainly have to look elsewhere. 👍👍👍

We were 2 families with a small child and 3 children visiting this villa in June 2025. We all enjoyed it very much. Open questions were answered very quickly to our utmost satisfaction. The villa is fantastic. Children can enjoy the pool or the nearby sandy beach. The house was very well equipped and very clean. We only had to buy a few spices for the kitchen in addition to everyday use. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward. And we really appreciated the punctuality. I'd love to come back, thank you!

We had an amazing stay at this unique accommodation! The place was absolutely pristine and squeaky clean — you could tell the host takes great pride in maintaining it. The setting was peaceful and incredibly relaxing, making it a perfect retreat from the everyday hustle. I loved the unusual vibe of the space; it was different from anything I’ve stayed in before, which made the experience even more memorable. Our hosts were very helpful in sharing information and things to do in the area. After long active days out it was great to come back to relax by the pool. We enjoyed it very much. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who led us to our accommodation. Everything was very clean and modernly furnished. In addition, communication with the host in between via WhatsApp was very straightforward and convenient. We felt completely comfortable and in good hands. We would definitely come back!! It is only important to know that heating up the whirlpool takes a really long time. So plan enough time ;-)

We had a wonderful time in Alessandra's lovingly furnished apartment! The beach is really just a minute's walk away and beautiful (and empty). You can also easily do shopping on foot. The surroundings are fantastic and Alessandra gave us great tips for excursions with children. In the apartment there was everything you needed. We will be happy to come back.☺️☀️

Our family of four (including 4 and 6 year old) had a really lovely week at Lory's apartment. It was a perfect set-up for younger children, with plenty of inside and outside space and a 30-second walk to a beautiful beach. The beach in particular was a highlight, a small bay with interesting rocks to climb, calm, clear waters and soft sand. We explored others beaches in the local area and it was our favourite overall! We slept well as the apartment is cool and the shutters keep the light out. There were several restaurants/beach cafes within walking distance and a nice artisanal gelateria a short drive away (with a mobile van which visits a nearby beach in the afternoons!). There is an interesting cave and historical town for family-friendly trips out nearby. I would not hesitate to recommend Lory's place.

We felt very comfortable and found everything. Salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea, balsamic vinegar, all necessary appliances and plates and cutlery were available in variety. The toilet paper was also enough for the first few days. Clean and nicely decorated and communication with Doriana was great and the check in was easy! We expected the garden a little bigger from the pictures, but it was totally sufficient, as we were often on the beach, which is really just a stone's throw away and is really great. We found the location a little outside, you always have to drive some serpentines over the mountain for a while to be in a larger city or the larger road. Nevertheless, this has nothing to do with the accommodation itself, next time we might stay a few days shorter and book a second place on the west coast to have less driving time. We had a wonderful week!! Simple but very nice cottage, with a spacious balcony overlooking the sea. From the garden, you can walk straight onto the beautiful beach!
