Abbey Church 23, Rushworth

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What even to say. This is SUCH an amazing respite. A slice of Highland Heaven. There are 100 apartments in this converted Abbey, which is RIGHT on Loch Ness. It’s beyond beautiful. Playground, pool, outdoor chess, walking trails, all amazing. We had great service from the Highland Clib checking in, with an incredibly friendly front desk worker. Walkable to everything, maybe 4 minutes was the longest walk we had. The local boat cruise is a must. Watching the boats go through the canal was also fun. Basically, incredible. We will be back.

Campbell Apartment

What a fabulous place to stay. So much to discover. Loved the single track road to Oban, especially spending time just watching the highland cows and calves. Oban itself was wonderful and had The Best Fish and Chip shop ever!!! (As recommended by Rick Stein). The grounds of Lonan house were superb and led to many varied walks. The apartment was a real home from home. Glencoe is only a stones throw away and although we didn’t get to visit Mull or Kererra the majesty of these islands brings tears to my eyes when I stand and observe them from the harbour in Oban. After a week in the bosom of Lonan House we genuinely did not want to leave. Thank you to Elaine and Malcolm for all the little extra touches that made us and our two little dogs feel so welcome.

Central Fort William apt with parking - Burach 1

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were very happy with this AirBnb. We stay at a lot of places but this one I would highly recommend. Anna was very responsive and flexible and it was very easy to check in with a door code even when we arrived late. Anna had great recommendations all in a book and the area is simply beautiful. We enjoyed the hike up the cowhill trail right near the house. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to make several meals there during our stay. The bathroom met our needs well and we would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Fort William.

2 bedroom flat within Highland Baronial Manor

BartRating, 5 stars10 months ago
What an amazing place! Beautiful, quiet, in the middle of nowhere but within half an hour of the best shellfish ever (Arisaig), a supermarket, the ferry at Mallaig and the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The nature in this area is almost too beautiful to describe. Lush green mountains, beautiful lochs, white (and some empty) beaches, forrest, all we were looking for. The apartment itself looks exactly like what it is, part of a manor. A small but cozy kitchen (with a double oven in which we made a roast dinner), good beds, great shower and a big living room with coaches and sofas and a wood burner for chilly Highland nights. We (a family of four plus dog) loved it!

Cosy modern cottage, superb sea and mountain views

PaulRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our first visit to Skye and a week made all the better by the property and location. Dorothy was on hand when needed and the property had everything we needed, was really well equipped and had a place for everything. It's at the quieter end of the island, which we liked, but does mean a few more miles to see some of the well known sites. Not an issue, as so many things to see and do on the way north and the scenery never got old. The only small issue for us, was the internet, although it is there, if you need to work while away, or check in with friends/relatives, any video meetings won't work, even some internet browsing, was very slow. Dorothy kindly offered her home and internet connection to use for a client meeting we had, but we re-arranged the meeting, as did not wish to impose on her kind hospitality. Property is 6 miles down a single lane road with passing places that is no issue, as long as you drive safely and navigate the pot holes and sheep. 5 Stars overall.

A traditional Highland home near Skye welcomes you

PawelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay at The Home in Glenelg. The house is clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location with stunning views over the sea and surrounding hills — a truly peaceful setting. The property is well-equipped for a relaxing break, and we especially enjoyed the nearby walks, the friendly Glenelg Inn, and easy access to the Skye ferry. Our host was kind and helpful, and we appreciated the thoughtful local touches throughout the house. One thing to note is that the bathroom could do with some updating, and it would really benefit from having a proper shower rather than just a bath. Overall, a great base for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland, and we’d be happy to come back

The Croft at Thistles on Skye

CraigRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Absolutely superb cottage. Felt comfortable and at home as soon as we entered the property. It was a delight to enter a warm place on a cold evening and to feel so at home from the outset. The views are utterly breathtaking and wonderful to have them from almost all the rooms too. The cottage is very well-equipped with everything you could need, and even some things you didn't know you needed! Highly recommend, would love to come back...

This place is great. It's cozy, colorful and really well cared for. We always look for a well stocked kitchen in an Airbnb, and this kitchen was very well stocked. Everything you need to cook a proper meal. Location is an excellent base for exploring the highlands. Clancy recommended a great local walk which we did, and it was lovely. Great spot!

Luxury 2 bedroom apartment, balcony. Beach, golf.

HyltonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Aurelie and David are truly wonderful hosts! The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the pictures — no surprises, just exactly what we were hoping for. It was perfectly prepared for us in advance in the configuration we needed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly require. The Nespresso machine was an especially appreciated touch — mornings just aren’t the same without a good coffee to start the day! We also noticed (and appreciated) the whiskey set out on the console — a lovely gesture, even though we only had a small taste. Thank you so much, Aurelie and David, for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed place hosted by truly thoughtful people.

SKYFALL at Creag an t Sionnaich - The Foxes Rock

Samuel JacobRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an incredible 3 night stay at Skyfall. One of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed! Spotlessly clean rooms with an amazing view. A lot of effort was made to make our stay feel extra special. It was the perfect birthday getaway and the hosts were very kind and welcoming from the minute we arrived. This makes a huge difference compared to the standard ‘self check-in’ experience that a lot of places offer. We’re both leaving with massive smiles on our faces and want to thank you again for a lovely stay and the kind gifts. Sam & Andreea

very comfy 2 bed apartment with dedicated parking.

Richie and Gail’s airbnb was perfection! It was immaculately clean and by far our favourite stay whilst in Scotland. On arrival there was a gorgeous hamper with all Scottish treats which we loved trying! They’d left out toys for our baby which he adored and there was so many wonderful additions to feel right at home! The bed was so comfortable and top quality pillows. It was peaceful and your window looks out to beautiful flowers and bird feeders. Cannot fault this place, it was a real highlight! Thanks for having us!

Loch Rannoch Highland Club Pine Martin Lodge 8

SaraRating, 5 stars24 months ago
Had a fantastic time - Pine Martin apartment was like a home from home - brilliantly equipped kitchen - comfy sofa and beds. The covered balcony was perfect to relax and take in the stunning views across the loch and down towards Schiehallion. We also used the facilities at the hotel and the staff there could not have been more welcoming and helpful in the Wild Brownie restaurant, the Marina and the spa. Food was delicious and one of the best spa treatments I've had. Came away feeling like we'd been on a retreat and fully rested and recharged. The only negative was the early checkout at 10am - for a fee of £35 we could have had a later checkout which we felt was an excessive charge for an 'admin' fee.

No.3 The Old Convent Holiday Apartments

JoanneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our stay at No3, the Old Convent. The apartment was well furnished and comfortable and an ideal base for us to walk the Great Glen Way. We were a little unsure how staying in an apartment would work with taking our dog but it was fine and he loved exploring the areas around the Old Convent. Chris and Felicity were great hosts.
