Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Calice al Cornoviglio

We had a great time at Caterina’s place. 6 of us stayed there and was great to all have our own bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The house and gardens had plenty of space to mingle together or to spread out and do our own thing. The location was so peaceful and the views incredible. Not great if you struggle with walking uphill and there are lots of steps to and from the train station and village. Although there is a shuttle bus. Was great to visit all the Cinque Terre towns but not to stay in the hustle and bustle. Great stay and can’t thank Caterina enough, it is a beautiful place to stay!

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

Ilaria was a wonderful host. The house is located on top of a hill, with a huge and very nice garden and wonderful views. Perfect for kids to play.

Alessandro's accommodation is great for those who want to get away from the chaos of the city, it is in a quiet location and surrounded by greenery but still close to a lot of areas of interest such as Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) and so on... it is a very strategic place, especially if you have pets with you. Our little dachshund, Focaccia, was able to run freely in the huge garden in front of the accommodation - a place where my partner and I decided to have dinner every evening while enjoying the beautiful sunset. 🌇 The accommodation is beautiful, new and equipped with a really super-stocked kitchen (we could even make pizza!). We were also very pleased with the presence of an air conditioner. We will definitely be back, we highly recommend it 🫶🏼 NB Alessandro has always been super helpful in answering all my questions and giving me very valuable advice on what to see/where to eat, etc. Thank you Alessandro for your infinite patience?

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

We liked our stay very much, the house corresponds exactly to the description and the pictures. The location is a bit remote, which we found very nice. By bus you can also be in the city center/station of La Spezia in 20 minutes, the bus stop is almost directly in front of the house and Anna gave us 2 tickets. Anna was super helpful, explained everything to us and was always immediately available for questions. She also gave us good tips for activities, restaurants, etc. At check-in and check-out, they transported our luggage to the car, so we didn't have to carry anything. Car is in a public parking lot about 200m from the house, here Anna reserved a parking space for us before arrival. Upon arrival, a food basket with pastries and honey and coffee was ready. Since Anna does not speak German or English, we talked via translator apps, which worked very well. Our dog was very welcome too.

We were there over Christmas and New Year's Eve… The small Ligurian house corresponds exactly to the description… it is nice, but a bit narrow and the steep stairs sometimes annoying. .. Unfortunately, the parking lot is also a bit far away and quite full even in the winter season. Roberta is very friendly and helpful. She personally welcomed us very warmly with numerous gifts and took a lot of time for our briefing. Also, when there were problems with the water later in the evening, she immediately stepped in and fixed the problem quickly… Many thanks to Roberta for her friendly and helpful care and for the pleasant stay. Matteo’s house is clean and cozy. The view is absolutely stunning and the location is so prefect to explore the Cinque Terre area. It was only a 10 min drive to Riomaggiore and from there another 10 mins to Manarola. The only problem is the limited spots for parking. So we drove to La Spezia and parked our car near the station there and took the train from La Spezia to all the villages. Breakfast was provided by Matteo and he kept checking in to see if we need anything. He and his wife are very sweet people and we highly recommend their home!

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

the house was really nice, located on a quiet hillside with no neighbors around, so you had a lot of privacy. It had three clean and beautiful bedrooms, and the house stayed cool during hot weather, which was really refreshing. We even had a friendly cat as a neighbor, and the host, Elisa, was super responsive and helpful. Everything in the kitchen was well-equipped, so cooking was easy and convenient.

Fabrizia is an amazing host. You feel comfortable in the house, and have a beautiful view from the bedrooms! The garden is fantastic, especially to cook comfortably and enjoy the evenings. Thank You!

What an amazing stay! The views from the villa are spectacular, and the villa itself was immaculate. It felt so private & peaceful. We had Chef Niki come for a private dinner and a cooking class, and he was fantastic. Brunella and Giacomo were very helpful and responsive before our stay and throughout our time there. I’m already dreaming about coming back!

We liked the stay at Francesca's very much. Your accommodation is beautiful and the location wonderful. Francesca is a very friendly person with whom you can have a good conversation and who is happy to help her guests if you have a question. We especially liked the garden with pool, the tranquility and the view of Barga. Thank you, Francesca!

We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay with Zivile and Dante. This little paradise is surrounded by fantastic nature, and the special energy of its inhabitants makes it a place for deep relaxation and connection. We enjoyed the time in our cottage, the refreshment at the pool, the nature, the lovely pets and also every encounter with civilians. A special experience was the full moon ceremony and an energetic treatment. For people with a spiritual sense and a longing for peace and grounding, this is exactly the right place.

We loved everything there! Ivana, Alan and the people in the village were just welcoming and open minded. We slept in the comfortable apartment on the ground floor. The apartement contains everything you need, has several sleeping arrangements and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. All was clean and comfortable. The view up to the castle is calming and a good reason for a short walk. Ivana knows a lot about the area, the history of Lunigiana and answers all your questions gladly. Breakfast and dinner is local, handmade and really tasty in a cosy atmospere. If you are looking for a place to calm down, feel welcome and enjoy nature its a perfect place we can fully recommed (dogs are also welcome).

The place fully met our expectations. What we particularly liked was the location, right in the historic town center. The apartment is lovingly and fully furnished with lots of details. Rossana welcomed us very warmly and personally and you had the feeling of coming to friends. You can tell that she cares a lot about making sure guests feel completely comfortable. The accommodation is well-kept and clean, the furniture is classic/rustic but new/well maintained, wifi and TV work perfectly. In the surrounding hamlet you can breathe the atmosphere of the past, time seems to have stopped. Really nice place, recommended.

Really helpful and kind guys, we interacted mostly with Chiara, who was super kind, she waited for us after the check-in time with a lot of cordiality and without making us weigh the delay, she very kindly explained everything and welcomed us with great warmth making us feel at home. The place is truly magnificent, equipped with every minimum of comfort and they pamper with all the small details they provide. A little slice of heaven that I would recommend to everyone, for a night or better dreamy days.

This is my third visit to the Lucca area, but my first time to stay inside the city walls. Fabrizio’s apartment is perfect with respect to location, style, and quality. The terrace is such a haven. Any meals we cooked were eaten out there, and a glass of wine in the evening is a must while you listen to the lively vibe of Lucca.

The apartment is located in a beautiful and at the same time strategic context to visit both the Cinque Terre and the surroundings. The possibility of having a large common garden to take advantage of makes it possible to enjoy beautiful outdoor dinners and breakfasts. the house is taken care of in every detail and is true to the description of the listing, perhaps even more beautiful than you can expect. The location is excellent where in 20 minutes you are at the La Spice train station from where the train departs to visit the Cinque Terre. hosts are very friendly and immediately available for local tips, tips we took advantage of and greatly appreciated.

We had a wonderful time! We were lucky with the weather and were able to use the magnificent terrace every day. Otherwise, the apartment would probably have been too small for two of us. Thanks also for the nice welcome with wine and snacks and nice tips for the area! It was very hot during the day, the air conditioning was too loud for us to sleep, but at night you could ventilate well. The apartment, the terrace, the view of the rooftops, the relaxed neighborhood - a great atmosphere. We had a lot of fun on the trip to Canyon Park, Lucca and the sea. We only wish the plants on the terrace were better cared for. These were completely dried up when we arrived. Clear watering instructions for guests would certainly be helpful (plastic plants are not a solution for the charm of the apartment and terrace). There are no bedside lamps, neither downstairs nor upstairs. For all those who only read digitally, no problem. We hope we can come back again

We had a wonderful stay in this clean and charming accommodation. The view is beautiful, the place is quiet and spacious in both the private and common areas. Breakfasts with homemade cakes were great. The host has always been very responsive and friendly. A recommendation with eyes closed. Thank you for these incredible days.
