Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cambridge

We had an amazing stay here celebrating my partners birthday, the house is absolutely stunning (one of the few places that are actually better than what the pictures show) and the location is so peaceful. Russell was very communicative and was happy to answer any questions we had. Really recommend!

My family and I had a brilliant two weeks stay at Gareth and Adam's house in Hitchin. Gareth and Adam were both brilliant hosts who made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond our expectations, which made the experience feel more like a five star hotel than an AirBnb. The house is well located, a couple of minutes walk from the train station. We really enjoyed spending the summer evenings in the garden. Highly recommend.

WHAT A PLACE! Stunning location and being on the water was amazing. The property was very well equipped and deceptively big. Having a bbq by the water made it really feel like we were on holiday (despite the typical British weather). We know Isleham well and it’s a great location to access lots of things going on and the village pubs have amazing food. We’ll definitely be repeat customers of this place and look forward to doing some more fishing, paddle boarding/kayaking and bbq’s when we come back 🥳

Had a fantastic stay at The Old Dairy. The house and location was beautiful and perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Miranda provided lots of information about the surrounding area and was very quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible property. we loved our stay, it had everything and more. beautiful property, surroundings and decor. It was super clean and well looked after. The pub is walkable and had great food options too. We had a great time and will definitely be returning for future breaks away!

A lovely place and it made for a smooth stay and convenient for the rural drive along to Duxford (about 10 mins). There are peaceful walks on the doorstep and it’s about a 10 min. walk to The Pheasant pub (good food/drinks). It was a hot week and the little room did get very toasty but the fan helped (and was quiet enough for night time use). Also the park & ride was ideal (the Trumpington one) and stopped at the beautiful botanic gardens in Cambridge which we’d highly recommend for a great picnic and a relax. Would recommend this place…Jemma & the little dogs were lovely hosts and we’d like to return sometime.

I loved staying here. It was private and had beautiful surroundings. The flat was lovely and the view onto the gardens and field beyond was perfect. The most important thing about any stay for me, is the friendliness and responsiveness of the host. John is amazing: friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I shall hopefully stay here again.

What a lovely place to stay. Jemma and her family were so welcoming and let us use the stunning gardens to have a barbecue and enjoy the fabulous weather. We will definitely come again. Thank you.

4 of us stayed here and we had a great time. Flat was very clean and tidy and as described. Was about a 30 minute walk from the centre but there is a direct bus into town if you can’t walk. Host was great! Let us know all the details we needed and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was amazing there! A peaceful place, lovely for a scape from the city. Will definitely be coming back.

We have just got home after our two night stay at Sherwood Farm. I am from Soham but now live In the midlands.. I felt straight at home and my god did I forget home peaceful it is out there. There was so much room for all our children to play outside and for us all to sit together and watch tv as a family. Absolutely stunning place. Will definitely be coming back to stay when visiting family. Absolutely worth every penny. Loved it. Thankyou to Stuart and Carol for being great hosts and providing everything we needed.

Thanks to Amanda and Adam for a great 3 nights at the Silver Birch Lodge. It was so much to do and the hot tub and fire pit was so amazing… We learnt how to build a fire pit as never done this before so was a good experience. Me and my 8 year old took the bikes out and went around the village with some spectacular views and really friendly people. If you are looking to relax and get away for a few days then this is the place to come really nice from start to finish… Thanks again for being amazing hosts and will definitely come back again!!!

Amazing lodge, very clean and had all the amenities needed. We stayed for 1 night for my husband’s birthday and the little touches were lovely. A bottle of prosecco and orange juice plus milk in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and robes for the hot tub! The hot tub was so nice, especially sitting inside and taking in the views! Thank you for a relaxing and chill weekend

A cosy and well equipped cabin in a lovely setting in a beautiful part of the country. It met all our needs plus Fiona was very attentive. We were further welcomed by homemade treats and simple extras including fresh flowers & milk, all left for us in the cabin for our arrival, thank you😃

A beautiful setting, the dome in the garden was a real added bonus and the garden lights and decor were a lovely touch. So much outside space, you could easily add another cabin and still have I plenty of privacy and space. Well equipped kitchen and very clean bathroom. We couldn’t get to WiFi to connect and the tv signal was patchy but didn’t bother us as we didn’t really need either. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins! Easy instructions to find, and ample parking. Beautiful landscaping around the pod cabins, and although there were others, it felt very secluded and private. Very quiet and loved hearing the horses and birds. The wood fired hot tub was AMAZING and was the perfect place to catch up with friends. BBQ made for easy dining and we were able to sit out on the patio. Small inside (for 4 people) but perfectly formed and had absolutely everything we needed. Loved our stay and hope to return!
