Historic Barco Cottage is across the sound from the Currituck Lighthouse in the quaint area of Coinjock known to the locals as Church's Island. This tiny village is brimming with Currituck History and is about 40 minutes from the Outer Banks, Elizabeth City, and Virginia Beach. Bring your dog, boat, and kayak and enjoy a tranquil morning in the hammock overlooking the sound or head to the OBX for a beach day (parking pass included). This charming cottage is newly renovated and refurnished.

Located in the country, 45 min to Outer Banks NC one way, 1 hour drive to the beaches of Virginia another. Only 15 minutes to historic downtown Elizabeth City. Stay a while or stay a night. Best suitable for couples (and 2 children) as there is not a lot of space inside. Plenty of outdoor space!! Less than 4 miles from North River Campground
