Stunning detached house set in woodland

AnneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a wonderful stay at Alan’ s place. We loved both the house and the surroundings and felt completely at ease to let the children and dog roam around the woods and grounds. There were plenty of lovely large towels, mugs, plates, cutlery etc. No shortage of kitchen equipment, cooking and storage facilities. Comfortable beds, powerful showers, cosy sofas and plenty of opportunities to play a variety of games, from a massive cupboard full of board games to the well stocked games room. We saw plenty of wildlife including rabbits, deers and birds of prey. The Tesco delivery found us with no problems too!

Stylish Apartment In Central Kelso

JaneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
I spent a week relaxing at Rebecca’s place and can honestly say it was absolutely wonderful! The apartment itself is perfectly presented with everything I could have needed during my stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and Rebecca’s apartment is a perfect base to explore lots of places by car. Locally there is plenty of choice for either coffee with a quick bite or something more to eat. I’d thoroughly recommend Rebecca’s apartment to anyone visiting the Scottish Borders region.

The View: idyllic and remote off-grid cabin

Really lovely place and so unique. Location is perfect and so private. Facilities are good considering they are basic and the shower was great. Very clean. Could do with a fresh lick of paint but overall an amazing stay, we already want to rebook.

Rustic luxury at the Dairy with outdoor bath.

ByronRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Honestly one of the best places I have ever stayed. Very clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Spent the evening lounging in the outdoor bath watching the wildlife go by, playing the board games provided inside and a dreamy nights sleep in the most comfortable bed. Coffee, eggs and bread for breakfast provided by the host and enjoyed in the garden. Dog friendly (secure garden) and my little dog enjoyed it just as much as we did. Nobody bothered us for the duration of the stay - very private. My only complaint is that we tried to book another night and it was (unsurprisingly) booked up. Would love to come back and stay in winter to make the most of the log burner.

So glad I picked this place, so many facilities for an international traveler to take a nice rest before getting to Edinburgh. The town itself has a very interesting textile history and I picked up some beautiful fabrics there.
