Holiday rentals with lake access in Canadian Lakes

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

My stay at freshwater vacations was a little rocky at first due to the weather, but they did everything in their power to make sure that I had a great vacation. The place was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. There’s so much room for a big family. We loved the backyard with the grill the dock and they also provided kayaks. It was a perfect peaceful getaway for me and my family. They also responded so quickly and we’re very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody we can’t wait to go back!!

Had a fantastic long weekend fishing with my dad. Easy instructions for check in and out. Very quiet area compared to some lakes I have stayed at. House is very clean and well stocked with cooking essentials in a very spacious kitchen. We brought kayaks since we were unsure if we would be limited from shore but only took them out once just to check out the channels. The fishing was great right from the dock. We both landed multiple large bass and so many panfish I lost count. Was exactly what I was looking for and would definitely come back.

We had the best time! The house was so clean, everything was labeled and Brian had everything you could possibly need. The home was in a beautiful neighborhood. We loved spending time on the boat and the lake which was footsteps from the home. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to book again

Long weekend away This is our second stay and we loved it! This time we brought our fur babies and they loved it too. It’s a peaceful and serene area. House is very well stocked in case you may forget something.

The Haven Cottage was an amazing experience for our family of four. It went above and beyond our expectations! It was beautiful, cozy, clean, and safe for our young kids. Wendy & Al were amazing hosts and thoughtful down to every little detail. We realized we needed a pack and play and Wendy was generous enough to bring one over very quickly (and she also gave my girls some bubbles while stopping by). 🤗 They had a welcome book with everything we needed to know about the cottage, places to visit, and a scavenger hunt that my four year old LOVED! They went above and beyond and made us feel right at home and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you Wendy & Al for sharing your beautiful home!

Wonderful long weekend with kids and grandkids. The lake is small but we loved the pontoon, kayaks and the hot tub and the grandkids really enjoyed fishing off the dock and catching the little blue gills. Plenty of space for the 10 of us and loved that we could bring our dogs along. The house is so cute and wonderfully decorated and we loved all the little touches. Thank you for a wonderful space! We highly recommend!

We had a great time staying at Juli and Corky’s place! Everything was so nice and the amenities were well thought out and very thoughtful! And Juli was great to talk to and super helpful and very pleasant. If I’m up here again I will definitely check availability of their homes!

I have been coming to the Fremont area for years with very few options on where to stay. I can confidently say that I will be staying here again in the future. It was a very hot weekend and coming into the Airbnb with the air conditioning kicking was a life saver. The space was also very clean, no dust in sight. Thank you, Melissa!

My kids & I made a last minute decision to go on one last adventure before summer ends and when I opened up my airbnb app this rental popped right up. It was in my price range and coincidentally available the days we were planning to travel out that way! It was meant to be! This rental has everything you need and then some! There was plenty of room for all 4 of us, the location couldn’t have been better, and the owners were so kind and helpful and responsive to my messages. The kitchen has everything you could need, the bathroom & shower are amazing, the open flow to the entire unit was perfect! It looks exactly like the photos, yet the photos don’t do it justice! We will be back next year as long as the owners will still have us!! 😊 THANK YOU!!!

Had a great Memorial Day Weekend trip here! The cottage feels like stepping back in time in the best way possible. Our daughter enjoyed the VHS collection, box of toys, and the old-school high chair. Plenty of ways available to enjoy the outdoor space (boats, fire pit, grill), and endless outdoor activities in the area (we enjoyed a couple of easy hikes and a relaxing beach day). Ericka is a great communicator and was very kind and welcoming, as were the neighbors that we interacted with. We would absolutely recommend this place, and hope to visit again someday!

We had the best time at Cassie’s! It was absolutely perfect for me 18mo son with all the beach toys and the minimal interior. We spent so much time in the sand and on the different boats and paddle boards. The island is a total treasure and so much fun to explore. The beds are comfy, neighborhood is really quiet and the lake is very chill. We are planning to come back as soon as we can!

Perfect place for our large group of kids. Communication with owner was easy and punctual. I would highly recommend this place.

Missy was really responsive and was great to communicate with. The check in and check out was very efficient and the house looked like the pictures as well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay at Lilly’s Pad! The house was spotless, super comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. The view of the sunsets across the lake was absolutely stunning and made for such a relaxing atmosphere. David was a fantastic host—very responsive, organized, and helpful. Check-in was easy, and his local recommendations were spot on. We especially enjoyed the Cadillac Golf Course restaurant—great food and service! The firewood provided was perfectly dried and made starting evening fires quick and easy. It was the perfect touch for cozy nights by the fire. We definitely plan to book another stay at Lilly’s Pad. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway!

By far our favorite Airbnb, cozy furniture and beds, swimming spot is so much fun. This is our third time staying and we just love it. Thank you for always being a great host! See you next yr

We had a great stay here, zero complaints. Very well stocked, from bug spray to toothpaste to extra blankets. It shows how much thought and care the host puts in to this cottage. Everything was very clean snd decorated cute inside. We loved the private beach that was just a short walk from the cottage. We will definitely be back!
