Castle holiday rentals in Canal de Bourgogne

Très bon séjour pour une fête de famille. Il y a assez de salle de bains pour tout le monde, la cuisine est agréable. Le jardin et le trampoline ont été apprécié par les petits et les plus grands aussi.

Not many travelers get to say that they’ve stayed in a chateau like Jacques’ in Thenissey. I live in Dijon and used to work in the area so when I found this accommodation to surprise my mom & brother during their visit, we were all overwhelmed with the simple beauty of this chateau and the countryside around it. Jacques is very kind and welcoming. If we needed anything, he was just a phone call away. He offered to show us around his chateau and we regret not finding the time to do so in our plans. The accommodation is modern and up to date with everything you need, including in the kitchen and two bathrooms. A train does by pass by but you will need a car to explore the region. And come already equipped with groceries and a full tank of gas because the closest supermarket is about 15-20min away! We absolutely loved the moats, “feeding” the fish, the staircase into the basement, and even the chateau-smell that makes this experience absolutely worth it during your visit to Burgundy.

To get to the castle is better to put in the GPS Chateu de Rosieres rather than the address in the description. But even without it is well indicated in the village so we reached we not problems. The minute we walked in we felt very welcomed by Bertrand, he is the kindest host i've met, got even upgraded for free to a better room in the castle instead of in the courtyard. The castle itself feels exactly as you would expect from a medieval castle of the 13th century. Appreciate the tour and booklets about the history. Even if the common spaces may feel a bit unfinished, the rooms were impeccably clean and organized. Also, it is warm and not humid at all. With bad weather outside the bathtub was great to have. We didnt spend much time outside, just enough to meet the donkey and the goat in the back. Very friendly. Great location to have a relaxing weekend, a couple walks in the countryside but also close enough to cities like dijon and besancon. Recommend passing by Beze.

siamo stati accolti come se fossimo della famiglia, i nostri figli hanno giocato con i giochi di loro figlio, la colazione era deliziosa e tranquilla senza fretta. Mary e Remy sono stati attenti alle nostre esigenze e ci hanno fornito ottimi consigli per cenare e visitare Auxerre che si raggiunge in auto in meno di 10 minuti. ci siamo fermati da loro come tappa di mezzo prima di raggiungere la Bretagna e la prossima volta che ci torneremo sicuramente ci fermeremo di nuovo da loro. un carissimo saluto

We hadden een heerlijk wijnweekend met vrienden in een prachtig kader. Perfect gelegen om wijnhuizen te bezoeken en de mooie regio te ontdekken. We hadden prachtig weer dus konden koninklijk dineren met zicht op het kasteel, de vallei en een prachtige zonsondergang.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij Rosita! Het is een bijzondere plek met een bijzondere geschiedenis. Ideaal om tot rust te komen. De site is heel mooi gerestaureerd  de gastenkamers hebben alle comfort en zijn toch authentiek gebleven. Je moet er naartoe om het te ervaren! Rosita is een goede gastvrouw  heel attent en heel flexibel. Een aanrader! Merci Rosita!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Le gîte est parfait pour 4 personnes : 2 chambres dont une grande, literie confortable, bon équipement, charme des vieilles pierres. Le parc est très agréable, la piscine est grande (mais un peu fraîche en cette fin de mois d'août) et le lieu idéal pour visiter Beaune et ses alentours. Très bon accueil également : informations claires et communication facile. Nous recommandons !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce château. Le lieu est grand et il y a beaucoup d'espace ce qui était très agréable pour les 5 familles que nous étions. Fin mai, la pelouse n'était pas encore tondu, c'est un peu dommage, mais il y a quand-même beaucoup d'espace dehors et nous nous en sommes accommodé, mais nous avons quand même un peu souffert des pollens... Nicolas est très réactif et la maison était bien conforme à la description, et bien conforme à ce que nous recherchions. Je recommande donc !

Nous avons passé 2 superbes nuits au calme dans une des annexes du château. l'endroit est magnifique et apaisant. Marjorie et son mari nous ont accueilli très gentillement 😊 Nous recommandons vivement pour une famille avec deux enfants !

Nous avons passé un sejour très agreable. Le cadre est agréable et apaisant, Marjorie est aux petits soins et attentive aux details. Nous avons apprecié les conseils et bonnes adresses transmis ;) Je recommande les yeux fermés pour un sejour en amoureux ou en famille

Superbe séjour ! Des jeux en pagaille, comme nous l espérions. Les quadragénaires nostalgiques que nous sommes avons adoré ce we de régression :-)

We stayed two nights with our adult children and friends. Plenty of room for all, enjoyed the pool and outdoors. Had lovely meals together in the large kitchen! Wonderful time.

This is the most magical place we’ve ever stayed. The owners invite you to stay in the castle where they live and you are transported to another place and time. The hospitality, the breakfast, the beautiful rooms, the charcuterie and wine on the terrace over the moat, the garden and access to the paths on the grounds: the ambience of the entire place is off the charts. My favorite part might be the mural filled with birds, flowers, butterflies and other creatures in all four seasons painted by the owner. It fills all four walls of a dining room! The whole experience is one you’ll always treasure.

Logement qui correspond en tous points aux photos et à la description. Nous avons passé 2 jours dans ce lieu exceptionnel où Marjorie et son mari sont d une grande disponibilité. Les enfants ont adoré les grands espaces, les balançoires. Logement très bien équipé. Le fait de pouvoir partir pour 12h est vraiment très appréciable.

Wij hadden een heel fijn verblijf. Uitmuntende omgeving, maar wel iets verder rijden van dorpjes/plaatselijke bakker. Gelukkig hadden Jitske en Matthew een uitgebreide lijst aan restaurants en bakkers zodat uitstekende adresjes snel te vinden waren. Het huisje beschikt over uiterst moderne infrastructuur en zelfs een elektrische bbq. Het is er heerlijk vertoeven.

Maartje a été une personne réactive et disponible (très disponible) pour les personnes ayant séjourné dans ce bien atypique qui ont toutes décidé de revenir l'an prochain. Je recommande cette location.
