Cabin holiday rentals in Canandaigua Lake

My wife and I needed a few days to just get away. It turned out to be the perfect place. We had friends who had a beach house and boat and were able to visit and go out on the lake. The cabin was private and had everything as advertised. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend anyone who needs a private get away to give the cabin a look!!!

My stay at Susan’s was absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as described and I felt right at home as soon as I walked in the door. I loved the huge yard for the kids to run around and play and watching the wildlife was so fun! I will definitely book here again if I’m in the area!

My family and I really enjoyed staying here, it’s a peaceful, beautiful, spacious and comfortable place, far from the noises of the city. The only things that we heard were nature sounds, exactly what we were looking for. Our dog and cats enjoyed staying here too. David and Shannon are really kind people, they helped us in anything we needed, and responded quickly. They also brought a portable AC unit because we have an Alaskan Malamute and she needs the air to be very cold. Thanks for all your kindness. We definitely would come back. 100% recommended

Jonna and Wes were excellent hosts. this was our second time and we loved it as much as the first time. Very responsive to messages, helpful and very sweet to leave flowers and wine for me because it was a weekend sway to celebrate my birthday. I gor to feed the horses this time. they were great. athe whole place was very relaxing and just like in the photos. We will definitely come back for a third time at some point 😊

This cozy cabin was the perfect winter break getaway for our family. We loved the fireplace, loft area/game room, and hot tub. The beds were very comfortable and there is lots of nature/outdoor activities to enjoy nearby as well as being close to a town with grocery store, restaurants, and other stores.

Sarah’s Air BnB was lovely and perfect for two people. It was close to Watkins Glen and many wineries. The hosts were extremely responsive & helpful during our stay.

We had a wonderful time during our visit. The cabin was secluded and private. Great location to hit wineries and breweries for us, we were within an hour or so of everything we wanted to do(we are used to a 20-30 minute drive on a daily basis for groceries). My favorite was the seating area on the dock overlooking the lake.

If you’re looking for peaceful privacy…. This is your spot!! The view from the deck was so beautiful. We loved the property so much. We received clear instruction from our hostess and felt right at home. Thank you for a relaxing stay!!

The Haley Cabin was a little slice of paradise and the perfect setting for our mini family vacation. We truly felt like we escaped into a magical forest, the ambience and attention to detail was incredible. We loved hearing the waterfall right outside our door, the string lights hung from the trees, the provided cornhole boards and designated area, the comfortable beds, everything! This cabin was perfect in every way for our family of four and we did not want to return to real life!! We cannot wait to come back in the future!

When we made our way up the driveway, we knew we were in for a special treat. The cabin was extremely private and faces a huge pond. Upon entering the cabin itself, the first thing we noticed was how absolutely charming and well decorated it was. One of the bedrooms even opens up to a large deck from sliding glass doors. We borrowed some DVDs from our local library before coming but there are a handful of great movies already in the cabin. There were also lots of great seating areas outside to enjoy the views and peaceful countryside. I only wish the spring rain would have taken a pause for us to have enjoyed the outdoors more. Perhaps that just means we need to come back and visit again soon! We had a great time.

Mitchell’s cabin is better than describe. As a fellow five star super host Mitchell does an amazing job. My wife and I had a small family issue that we needed to take care of and Mitchell was very understanding with us. I cannot say enough about the place and the host you want to stay here.

This is a very beautiful cabin. It is definitely worth the price. Some people were complaining about the water smelling like sulfur. I didn’t mind it at all, after all you are in the middle of nowhere. It’s not an issue for me at all! It was a very cozy place and I would book again!

Colin & Kaylee’s place was great! We stayed with our two dogs and 8-month-old son while exploring keuka’s wineries and breweries. Although not directly on the lake, we were only about 5 min away from at least three great wineries. Our dogs loved the wooded surroundings and had so much fun exploring. The pack n play at the cabin was in great condition and made packing a little easier for our crew. The place is definitely off the grid with little-to-no cell service, as described, but the WiFi worked great. Also it was very warm when we were visiting (low 90s) but there was a portable air conditioner for the main living area which was a godsend!

This was our second time staying at the cabin and we simply love the place. The home sits on a beautiful, large, private lot…perfect to play with the dog. The covered porch is great for enjoying quiet time in nature. Inside, you have everything you need. We really like spending time in the reading nook. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for the weekend and it was such a beautiful and peaceful stay!! The home was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed and more. Dana was super responsive and helpful. It was a perfect stay for a weekend getaway.

Courtney’s cabin was a dream—peaceful, private, and perfect for our family of four and our dog. Tucked into the woods, the space felt warm and well-loved, with comfy beds and a cozy basement full of games our kids enjoyed. The house was spotless and clearly cared for, with easy-to-follow instructions that made settling in a breeze. Check-in was smooth, and Courtney was kind and responsive throughout. After a long day of errands and closing on our home, this cabin was the peaceful reset we needed. Even our dog, who’s usually nervous in new places, relaxed by the second day. The surrounding woods were beautiful and serene—we fell asleep to birdsong and the sound of wind through the trees. It felt like a true retreat. We’ll absolutely recommend this spot to visiting friends and family, and would stay again in a heartbeat!

I can’t say enough about Kathi & this cabin! She’s everything you’d want from a host - lovely, knowledgeable & gave the best tips! She was extremely accommodating, responsive & just an excellent host. The “cozy cabin” on Wells is just that & such a special place. The property is beautiful, peaceful & so inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast on the pergola overlooking the pond in the morning & relaxing by the fire at night. You could do nothing else & have the time of your life but you’re also close to lots of lakes, waterfalls, wineries & quaint towns with cute shops so there is plenty to keep you occupied should you want to keep busy. Besides being picturesque, the cabin was spotless & had all the amenities you could ever need. In fact, they even supply extra toiletries in case you forgot something & wine if you’d like to partake. Such thoughtful touches! This was a bucket list trip for us & a much needed recharge. We were sad to leave but can’t wait to go back!

Great little spot by beautiful Lake Conesus. Convenient location, the space was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few day stay! Donald was great with communication and quick to respond when we needed the heat turned on. Recommended!

This cabin was even more wonderful than we imagined! It's absolutely adorable. Lindsey & Perry put such care into furnishing, decorating, and making their guests feel welcome. It was fully stocked with everything you could need. The location was simply perfect. The lake is so peaceful and serene. We spent the days exploring and hiking in Watkins Glen and Ithaca, and spent the evenings on the dock. I can see why other reviewers have mentioned returning time & time again... I didn't want to leave!

This has been one of the best experiences that my wife and I have ever had. Edgar was very proactive and thorough in his directions and instructions. The cabin is very peaceful and cozy. We could have stayed forever just reading on the porch or at the table inside by the window. Just about everything you would need is provided or available on the property. We look forward to returning in the future!

Great place to stay and be within driving distance of multiple destinations within the finger lakes. Nice hosts and great communications. Very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful property. I’m 40 and took the loft that over looked the creek lower falls, for that reason specifically. We did a lot of hiking in the general area, but made sure to carve out a time to explore the property. Water initially was low enough to wander in, but a little deeper in areas I couldn’t cross, and we had a massive rain while we were there that turned it into a raging chocolate milk river. It was really cool to see the falls in two different stages. Enjoyed reading books provided, a couple I’d had on my to read list. Cell service was available but not great, the WiFi helped with texts and phone calls but slow with data/internet (tried sending photos that didn’t go through) It is not a very accessible house if someone has mobility issues as you do go down some stone stairs to get to the front door. Driveway is a little hard to find but they left the garbage can out there making it easier to find. Beautiful location! Had a great several days with my mom here.

What an incredible stay. The location was perfect - easy to get to many popular places at the Finger Lakes such as Watkins Glen, Ithaca, etc. The local recommendations provided by the hosts were great as well, such as a variety of hiking trails, many wonderful restaurants/wineries, and other interesting experiences. Last, the place itself was lovely. It was cozy, and immaculately clean. Highly recommend staying here.

The bed was very comfortable. The cabin is sweet and cozy with all that you need including fridge and coffeemaker and electric teapot. The shower was great too. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning sipping our coffee and watching the sunrise. We also took advantage of the lakefront to go kayaking one morning.
