Great stay at Jennie’s house. Loved the location for Sherwood Forest, Nottingham Castle and the Tramway Museum. Kids loved the garden and hot tub and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend.

Our second time at this lovely hideaway in the Shropshire countryside. Not disappointed as this is a lovely place and you feel at home straight away. We were both suffering from colds and Rebecca was very easy to communicate with when we needed more heating. Great place and we plan to be back again next year.

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely lovely, we are definitely going back! Lynden was so lovely and gave clear instructions that made finding eveything so easy, love our tour of the farm and feeding all the animals that were so friendly! The room was really nice and decorated so beautifully & really appreciated the complimentary snacks. We loved the hot tub, lighting the fire for our marshmallows, and how close the animals got to us! Was a lovely place to stay felt so at home and welcomed, would define my recommend :)

Myself and three friend's stayed at Janes as we wanted to do a motorcycle tour of Derbyshire. The cottage is ideally located for that with off road parking . The cottage it self is lovely and homely. I especially liked the conservatory to sit and relax in. The cottage had everything we needed and jane even provided some basics to get us started on our arrival,milk,bread etc. Jane was friendly, easy to contact, about when you needed her but otherwise left us alone to enjoy our stay. 100% recommend Jane and her cottage.

My week here was fabulous. Lisa is friendly and welcoming. She left us loads of breakfast food including our dietary requirements. She was available should we have needed anything else (we didn’t!). The accommodation was spacious with access to the garden - I sat out there every afternoon after wonderful walks in the nearby hills. A 20 minute walk took us into the centre of the town. I can definitely recommend Lisa’s accommodation, and would stay there again if I return to Great Malvern.

WOW ! Had a great holiday ! We didn’t want to leave ! Windmill Lodge is a little peace of Heaven Set In idyllic surroundings with a beautiful pond (loved the ducks ) And peaceful surroundings Lisa was a great host Greeted warmly and surprised with a welcoming card and “scrummy” cake to start the holiday off well. Tea and coffee and milk provided in a well equipped spotless,kitchen Furniture very comfy All rooms were very clean and of a high standard with plenty of little touches in every room to make us feel at home Lisa was on hand if we needed anything but we had our privacy. Absolutely beautiful cottage and was made to feel at home. Perfect location for a relaxing few days, and the dog loved the secure garden. Cottage was homely inside and had all the necessary amenities, the milk and brownies were a lovely added touch. Will definitely return, cannot fault it. Sarah was also lovely and very friendly and helpful.

Wow! What a fabulous, totally relaxing weekend in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We (and our 2 miniature Dachshund) just loved that as soon as you stepped of the front door, there was so much garden, woods, lake and fields to explore. And don't forget the peacocks, Roger and Kevin, adding that magical touch passing right by the front of the cottage. Jean was so lovely too. We absolutely would love to return xx

Great base for me as I was an exhibitor at BBC Gardeners World Live so wanted a self contained space to stay that was 10 minutes away and this place fitted that perfectly. Lovely area and the boat pub on the canal is a 5 minute walk away which I highly recommend. Well equipped kitchen and great powerful shower. Comfy bed and convenient parking space. I’d come back here when next in the area.

This little oasis is as far as it can be from the hustle & bustle of modern life, being at the end a farm track, surrounded by open countryside. It is rare to find somewhere where there is no road noise - just the sound of silence - and the farm animals of course. You are still close to good local facilities & great places to eat. Great few nights away for Halloween! Cosy barn tucked away, surrounded by trees and fields. Swimming in the heated pool at night in October was great. Geoff was always at hand with any queries or recommendations. The Halloween decorations was a nice touch for the kids to keep pranking each other throughout our stay. Great setting for a general chil out with films and board games. Hartlebury Castle was a great few hours out and not too expensive. The Willow and Boar was 2 minutes up the road for a nice breakfast. Would highly recommend The Pool house! Thanks to Geoff and Alan!

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at The Shippen. The property was perfectly located for a peaceful few days away from busy life but had amenities close by. We had access to the great pool and a private hot tub that the kids loved. I would definitely recommend The Shippen for families looking for a getaway that has lovely surroundings and accommodation that has everything you need, including games and activities for entertainment. Thank you Sara and Phil for having us, we loved our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The open plan upstairs is really comfortable and the main bedroom is spacious and luxurious with the en suite and slipper bath. Hidden downstairs is the unassuming door to the pool! Such a treat to be able to swim before breakfast and before and after dinner. Pool was a great temperature for swimming and the room is warm too. Katherine was friendly and there if we needed. The rural setting is great to wake up to bird song and farm fields. Shrewsbury is just down the road and this was a great base for going there but being completely out of the bustle of the town in the evenings. Overall peaceful with a splash of luxury.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Lovely place to stay, house and location was beautiful. Host was so welcoming and friendly. The animals on the little farm was such a lovely touch. We had an amazing time, highly recommend.
