Beach house holiday rentals in Cape Tribulation

My Partner and I stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time, it was clean, quiet and peaceful. Moti was responsive to questions, polite and friendly.

Absolutely loved our 10 days at ‘Frangipani House’. We’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s & this one beats them all. Think absolute beachfront, amazing ocean views, private, coconut palms, gorgeous decor, heated pool, tropical garden, proximity to both world heritage listed Daintree rainforest & fabulous restaurants in Port Douglas.

We had the most wonderful stay at Trinity Beach. The house was spectacular, everything was as desceibed and more. There was so much to keep the kids occupied that they were reluctant to leave the house at times. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of pillows and extra throws. It was still very warm and humid at times in Cairns but the aircon kept us all cool along with the lovely breezes in the afternoon and evening. The kitchen was well supplied with lost of extra basics in the pantry. There was every type of appliance which made cooking a breeze. The bathrooms were well stocked with a lovely selection of shampoo, conditioner and body wash (Large Bottles not those skimpy one use only containers which I hate). The laundry was great, a big clean front loading washing machine and dryer plus a clothes line under cover and well supplied with washing powder too. The pool and the spa were what attracted us to the property and were a great sucess with all, will definetly come here again.

What a wonderful airbnb!!! Perfect for our family, great set up, fully fenced for the dogs and my nephew. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, right across the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a far North Queensland getaway without the Port Douglas hustle, bustle and price tag. Great location 5 minutes to Mossman and only 15 minutes to the centre of Port. Loved the pool and the house set up. Thank you Krystal 😊

Melissa’s place was everything it said it was! Your own private pool, beautiful views & modern bathrooms. A full size fridge, most appliances & a BBQ to make it feel very homely. We had the place to ourselves & had a nice & relaxing stay. Melissa was lovely, providing lots of information & went above and beyond to make it stress free. Any time we needed to ask a question she was more than helpful & kind. Would thoroughly recommend Melissa’s place to anyone who manages to secure a booking!

The place is beautiful. Views are stunning the place opens right up to your own oasis. Bedrooms are all with nice size beds and their own facilities. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities that you could imagine. Will definitely stay here again if I find myself on the other side of the world!!

We were lucky to stay at this beautiful beach house on very short notice after other accommodation fell through. Nicola was quick to respond and helped us get into the house within 30 minutes of contact. when we arrived the place was pristine with a lovely homey feel and decor that suited it's tropical beachfront location. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with thoughtful touches like included oils, sauces and washing up material. nothing worse than a stingy host! The back deck was lovely to sit on with views of their very secluded beachfront, it felt like our own personal beach! plenty of room for the 5 of us with a great pool to chill out in. Thanks for having us!

We stayed for the last part of our holiday in Palm Cove. Fiona’s property was amazing and easy to stay at. The property its self is well looked after, has plenty of room and very clean. It had everything we needed and the pool being heated was the best. Fiona is a great host, I asked a few questions and she was very responsive. It was sad to leave such a beautiful place to come home to the cold 😂 I would definitely recommend this property and if we come back to Palm Cove would book again.

Michaels place was exactly as described. The house is absolutely beautiful and unique. The pool was a perfect way to cool off after the days adventuring and the location is perfect. I would definitely recommend staying at this property. But be sure to pack a heavy duty midge repellent as I was eaten alive.

We had an absolutely fantastic week away at The Bahama house in Port Douglas. The house is stunning and thoughtfully laid out and decorated. It is ideal for families and friends. We relaxed by the pool, visited the sites including four mile beach and spent time at the Great Barrier Reef. We are so grateful to have stayed here and would love to visit in the future again!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The house is gorgeous and only a few blocks from the beach! Everything was just as described with no difficulties at all. The ice machine was a nice touch and the open windows and AC (when needed) worked perfectly! We did have a few ants, but that was due to us leaving food out on the counter so would just caution against that. Our family went snorkeling at the reef and got to visit lots of the rainforest nearby. Neighborhood was fairly quiet and even got to visit the local Sunday market in Palm Cove. Would definitely stay again!

Thanks for having us at your place. It was a nice house with a lovely pool and beautiful backyard, even better is the view from the front deck at sun rise. The only thing I’d say is given the location a BBQ would be a great addition, we would have really appreciated this but got by without it. O’Sheas down the road is a good pub for food and a couple of beers, and the cafe is good too.

Wendy has the most beautiful home in the best location in Palm Cove! You won’t find another house that is set up this perfectly for families - it easily fit our group of four adults and five children (10, 8, 7, 5 and 2) and the multiple living spaces meant that the youngest could have undisturbed day sleeps while the older kids played in the pool/watched movies/ran around. The kitchen has everything you need, the house is an easy walk to the beach and the main street, the beds are super comfortable, and the air conditioning is phenomenal. We’ve stayed twice now - August 2024 and January 2025 - and we’re already planning our next trip back!

Perfect stay for a family trip with the grandparents. Would highly recommend. Worth the stay just for the lovely pool. Heated and pool toys provided! We left a baby inflatable ring for the next guests travelling with a baby. The provided high chair and cot were great. We did move some of the beautiful decor so our kids didn’t break them. Kids enjoyed feeding the fish and spotting butterflies in the garden. Location is on the edge of town, which was what we wanted: quiet with a pool. Close entrance to four mile beach but a 5km walk to port Douglas or a 5min drive. We enjoyed the walk but it is a distance for some. Three toilets, washing machines and dryer made it a stress free holiday. Well equipped kitchen. Ceiling fans everywhere were enough for a May trip, didn’t need to use the aircons. Cannot recommend the pool enough! Can’t wait to visit again in the future.

Lili has a beautiful place. I loved that you could see the pool from most of the rooms in the house, which made it easy to keep an eye on the kids. The outdoor area is gorgeous as well and it really feels like a private getaway when you’re there. Highly recommend this place.

The house is in a beautiful quiet location and is setup very well for a family.

We had a fantastic time staying at Lou and John's Wildernest. Very comfortable, plenty of local things to do and see but was also a great jumping point to do day trips elsewhere. They were both incredibly friendly and proactive if anything needed attending to, we could not have asked for better hospitality :)

Just amazing! We were visiting family in Mossman and everything from communication to check in to check out was A+. I might be back in a few weeks and will definitely book this place again.

Anna’s place is stunning. We felt very grateful to be able to stay. The pool was amazing and facilities great. We felt so at home and didn’t want to leave. Loved Port Douglas - snorkelling, walking in the Daintree (despite roadworks) and Mossman Gorge. We don’t often go for wild life centres but the one at the end of the road had a great aviary. All-in-all a wonderful part of our journey through Aus.

A truly lovely home in Cape Tribulation enjoyed by six of us. The house is a little bit older however was very comfortable and well set up for a group Two of our group elected to sleep outside on the open verandah and loved it The walk from the house to Coconut Beach through rainforest is stunning and the beach walk north is beautful We would definitely stay at this amazing house again- highly recommended Bob
