Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Captiva

This AirBnB & Boca Club where it was located was a little slice of paradise. It was even more prettier in person. Very private and safe as well. The House, Clubhouse, and pool were top notch and service was impeccable. D&D both gave great recommendations and truly cared about us enjoying our stay. We cannot wait to make this a tradition and visit annually. Cannot say enough good things about this property!

Where does one begin?! Amanda was an extraordinary host, bar none. Communication was proactive and ensured no detail was overlooked, in terms of logistics for grocery delivery and transportation from the dick to the house, seamless precision. The house was pristine w/every attention to detail being met (and exceeded). The views were nothing short of surreal; the beach was perfection! We are counting the days til our return, so very grateful to Amanda for hosting a magnificent stay at Lu’s!

Great place to stay in North Captiva. Walk to the beach for the fabulous sunsets. We had such a nice time and felt right at home.

We loved our stay at Crab Cakes! The outdoor shower and golf cart were a great bonus. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck area. Jorge was a great help with details on the island and super to work with. We would definitely stay here again. North Captiva is a special place - Florida’s best kept secret! If you need to do any work while there, I would recommend having plenty of data as we did not have success using the Wi-Fi.

We had a great time! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved that it was close to multiple beaches so we could explore - Sanibel Island, Fort Myers and more. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hanging out in the outdoor area. My son even caught some catfish off the dock. The game room was perfect for evenings when we needed a break from the sun. Highly recommend and have already had requests from friends & family to share the listing!

My very first Airbnb and I'm sure it will set the standard for any future ones that I use. Super convenient location, plenty of parking, right on the canal so you see the dolphins and the manatees at any given point. I met Lori in person and she helped me with everything that I needed and was super kind. I spent a week kayaking the island and there are so many places to go that you don't have to leave the island once you get there.

This place has become our go to place for a staycation. We keep coming back every year. Love the location, the convenience and Pamela is always so great at accommodating our family. Can’t wait to be back.

Irina place was very clean. smelled so good like lemon grass . it was nice and cool. bed was comfy too and the little outside area was nice as well had 2 chairs. I would definitely come again.

My son and I came to Pine Island to fish for tarpon at the world famous Boca Grande Pass. This was the perfect location, just 2 blocks away from the nearest public boat ramp to the pass. I had some questions about my booking and parking for our boat, and the hosts got back to me immediately and were very helpful. The unit is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. It is very clean, safe and quiet. We had no problems at all accessing the unit with their instructions and had a good night's sleep before heading back out on the boat the next morning. I would definitely rent here again and spend a few more days next time to be able to explore the island and surrounding waters.

Daysi was a super host. Place was amazing clean and peaceful to take time out of everyday work day. Me and my husband needed time off from the world and daysi place did that. I will be back for another getaway.

Such a cozy and peaceful cottage. It was decorated cutely, fully furnished and with necessary items to feel at home. Beautiful pool with colored lights. Nice and peaceful neighborhood. Close to Publix and stores. Beach close by as well. Nice town. Had a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Great place to stay! Super easy access to the beach and a beautiful view of the ocean. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would recommend and stay again!

Very nice unit. Exactly like the photos . Plenty of room. Arrived late on a Saturday so it was nice to have some staples on hand. ( toilet paper, paper towels , soap, shampoo, waters etc) Plenty of towels and beach supplies. Building G is the closest to the beach which was very pretty and not at all crowded. Very quiet and peaceful. There is still construction going on in some of the 1st floor units but they seemed to begin later in morning and finish up early. It was not a bother at all. The beds were very comfortable. Met some very nice neighbors . Would love to return in the future.

We would definitely consider staying here again and tell friends and family about it if they’re ever in Sanibel. It was so helpful to have items available for the beach, as well. The Airbnb was very well put together and welcoming. The only inconvenience was having water shutoff during our stay but we realize it was necessary. it was necessary for the complex. Having Bowman’s beach near by was great!

Everything was perfect and it’s wonderful to see Captiva coming back. The condo was perfect, I prefer the bayside and the pool was so close. The only negative which had nothing to do with the condo itself was that when I arrived for check in at Royal Shell (3pm) I was told the condo wasn’t ready and I had to wait for a text. An hour later I did not receive a text notified Royal Shell and they told me to just go to the condo but someone could be there to inspect it by 5pm, that of which did not happen. Then upon check out I had a knock on the door at 9am from the house cleaner telling me there was no rush but she was leaving linens by the door. Checkout was not until 10am.

Our week at Loggerhead Cay flew by! Right away we all felt at home. The condo is just as pictured and it was very clean, beautifully done, and so comfortable! We all loved the proximity to the peaceful beach with tons of shells (and easy to get to the beach chairs and other supplies). Caihlin was super helpful with local info and travel tips and went above and beyond as a host with so many details - including a pack n play which sealed the deal for me since that’s so hard to find (my kids were obsessed with the bunk bed and the screened in porch). The showers and soft sheets were soooo relaxing and it was very helpful to have a full kitchen and laundry available. We loved exploring Sanibel and this was a great, comfy home base for our family.

We absolutely loved this condo. It was beautiful and so peaceful. We would definitely book this again.

We had a wonderful week in Sanibel and are already looking forward to returning! Chris was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and full of great local recommendations that helped make our trip even better. The condo was absolutely perfect—spotlessly clean and stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the extras for beach days: plenty of chairs, sand toys, shovels, and even a beach umbrella. We loved grabbing ice cream at The Shack and had some fantastic meals at The Lighthouse Café and Gramma Dot’s. Jerry’s made grocery shopping a breeze with their easy online ordering and pickup. All in all, it was a fantastic stay. Thank you, Chris, for making our vacation so comfortable and memorable!

Great location, beautiful view of sunrise over the water and fort Myers. Loved the amenities at the club! Nice to have the bikes available and pool and hot tub were great as well.
