You want to stay here. The Sandstone Cottage has an exceptional view and an ideal location. The dwelling is well maintained, very clean and perfectly serviced. Being able to use the provided water toys and kayaks was a bonus for our kids. We found the Sandstone Cottage to be comfortable because of how familiar everything was to us, and convenient because of how the space was so sensibly laid out. There is beauty inside and outside of this house. It rocks.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful cabin! The location was perfect — right next to the lake, and just a short walk from the Indian Coffee House restaurant, which was a great bonus. The cabin itself was very well-organized, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to nature made it the ideal getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and conveniently located retreat.

We had a really comfortable stay in Warwick's apartment. Everything is as described, great location, quiet, easy, and Warwick is great to deal with. Even though it's freezing outside the apartment stays warm. Would stay again.

Excellent cabin in a lovely tranquil location. Great hosts with everything that you need in the cabin plus more, to have a relaxing time outside of the city. Great for fishing and beach walks, close to amentities if you need to stock up on food too.

My son and I stayed here for a basketball trip and it was perfect for what we needed. Located close to the beach and restaurants made it so much more convenient. The apartment was clean and comfortable and well maintained. Plenty of cooking utensils and other things you don’t always remember to take with you. Jerry was also a great host. Friendly and interested and very welcoming.

Great family place for celebrating a special occasion. Great location with lots of close options and an absolutely amazing view. There was nothing better than ending the day with a sunset spa on the roof top terrace. Felt like there was no one else in the world!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The layout was thoughtfully designed and we especially loved the rustic charm of the bed and bathroom which created such a warm, cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect, the beach accessible from the back gate of the property and although the weather was chilly, we still enjoyed a lovely picnic down there. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!

Nicole’s place was so beautiful. As soon as you arrive you feel right at home. It comes with everything you need and just the right amount of space. Nicole is helpful and thoughtful and since it was my first time using airbnb I was abit nervous but she made the whole process easier for me. There’s local Restuarants and grocery shops and a pub and beach all within walking distance so the location of her place and pretty much everything else is 10/10. Thank you for hosting us Nicole we hope we are able to visit again soon.

We absolutely loved staying here! It is a such a beautiful home and in a great location. So close to Avoca town centre as well as great local walks to cafes, shops and the beach. The house was beautifully kept and had everything we needed. Being so close to the lake was such an added bonus! Felicity even provided a fantastic travel cot and highchair for our little ones. It's a great place to stay both with or without kids. As a family of 5 with 3 babies we were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. We will certainly be back. Highly highly recommend!

We just LOVED this place. cosy, beautifully presented- with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The only bad thing about this home was that we couldn't stay longer. Adrian’s place was so homely and comfortable. The beds were so soft and we didn’t want to leave that lounge! We had just the right amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Adrian was very generous and thoughtful. Even leaving ice blocks in the freezer for the kids! The pool and games room was a hit with the kids. Great for the couple of rainy days we got during our stay. This was probably the most comfortable air b n b experience we’ve had. Everything ran smoothly thanks to a great host.

Had such a great stay at Ocean Gem! The apartment was lovely, clean and had everything you need. Loved the extra touch of a bottle of bubbles and chocolate! Deb was very responsive and such a lovely host. Location was amazing, the view from the balcony 10/10 and you can easily walk everywhere. I would highly recommend and will definately return.

Lovely stay, thanks Georgina. We found the apartment to be spotless (and we are fussy!), well equipped with thoughtful touches like a beach bag with towels for use during our stay and an info book with recommendations for eating etc. A very short stroll to beach which was lovely. Shops, cafes, bars and restaurants very close by but it is also quiet with the bedrooms situated at the back of the apartment. Living area is great and the balcony a lovely spot, the plants are a nice touch and makes it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom is small and the only thing I would change would be to add a little more storage space/ places to put things (in bathroom only) but this was easily solved for us by clearing the cupboard under the sink temporarily (ie; moving the hairdryer and spare toilet rolls elsewhere) then using that to store toiletries during our stay. Georgia was very communicative and proactive. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!

Everything great except we were told that there was an issue with the hot tub which they left us some beers and adjusted our check out, which we appreciated! Lovely place!

caves beach is absolutely beautiful and the Williams house is in a perfect location. Two beaches very close by and walkable and plenty other activities to do in the surrounding. The house is perfectly set up for families with kids and the views are stunning. We actually thought the pictures do not do the views and house justice.

We loved our stay here! The period styling of the place added a bit of fun to the experience. The garden is beautiful, full of native flowers and birds. The place is well equipped, Mary has thought of everything. From guides for local walks and restaurants to special touches of fresh eggs from her chickens and bread in the fridge for your arrival. The location is superb, wander across the road to sweeping view of the ocean or turn left and you are at Lake Macquarie. Easy drive to Swansea and Caves Beach. Highly recommend!

Had a great time. The place was clean and well maintained. In a cozy and modern apartment. The location is fantastic, a three minute drive will get you to the beach, IGA shops, local Cafe, or the local pub. The town is peaceful with plenty of road side parking. The host, was very helpful. Providing clear communication and places to go around town. It is a great choice for a couple to get away for a beach side holiday.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. It’s like your own private beach oasis right on the doorstep of Blacksmiths Beach and Granny’s Pool. The outdoor dining area was our favourite place to sit and enjoy a quiet breakfast and relax for dinner in complete privacy. The amenities are modern and everything you need - we didn’t want to leave! Easily the best place to stay in Blacksmiths!
