Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Carmichael

Our 2 night stay was very pleasant-and we were able to get a 30 min early check in -the neighborhood was very quiet- the air conditioner worked well but was kind of loud when turning off and on during the night. Will plan on staying again. The host was very easy to communicate with.

My mother and I stayed at Evangeline’s place and I can’t say enough about this place beautifully decorated , the kitchen and rooms are a great size and the beds and pillows are top notch! My mother is older and likes it quiet and this place is on a street with no through traffic. Minutes from Target and Walmart all the fast food and sit down restaurants are all in close proximity to the property. And the host extremely responsive each room has its own heat/air unit not that it didn’t work but I just didn’t understand how to turn the air conditioning on in my space after reaching out to Evangeline for some help she sent not 1 but 2 different high quality room fans for my convenience. I highly recommend this property for your next Sacramento stay

Anna’s place was fantastic! Clean, clean, clean in every single room, on every single surface, even the windows were spotless! No clutter, well-appointed rooms, comfy beds, with nice pillows and sheets. Beautiful bathroom and all new appliances in the kitchen. Super quiet, nice, walkable neighborhood. The front of the house has lovely curb appeal with a manicured lawn, and beautiful hydrangea bushes, while the back yard is very relaxing and comfortable with outdoor furniture, a lovely green lawn, and horses just beyond the fence. All in all, Anna’s place is top notch across the board, in every category! One can tell immediately that she takes great pride in her place! Thank you so much for making my stay in Sacramento such a pleasant one Anna!

I booked Carolyn’s Place for my family to stay when they were visiting me for my graduation and it fit the description provided on the app. As soon as we entered we settled right in and it felt right at home. Carolyn was more than happy to help us with even small inconvenience and was always very responsive and even offered to extend our check-out provided no one was renting the unit (tho we didn’t need it and left early). Everything in the house was available to us and exactly as described. It easily accommodated 5 people as shown and was in a friendly neighborhood as well. Overall Carolyn’s place was amazing and made us feel safe. Carolyn’s responsiveness and the place’s atmosphere made our trip even more memorable. I would definitely recommend to stay at her hidden home and would love to visit again!

Pretty good size for all my family

I have stayed in dozens of AirBnB homes since retiring 12 years ago, but this is (by far) in my top 2%! It was SO peaceful; the home itself is filled with light and beauty throughout -- and the neighborhood is also very quiet. A perfect retreat from the world, while still being close to everything you could want (markets, shopping centers, etc). I cannot wait to return, and wish I could give it more than 5 stars! PS - My dog loved the yard. Well laid out, with a nice dirt area so "pets can be pets" to their heart's content!

Absolutely beautiful, park-like setting. The home is cozy and clean. I am a plant girl who lives in the country so I felt right at home. The pool was sparkling and surrounded by citrus trees that smelled amazing. We had some rogue ants join the party in the kitchen the first night but Angie was quick to reply and had it handled immediately. We loved having a little oasis to escape to while visiting friends in Roseville. Will come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely lofted one-bedroom guest house! The space was very clean, and the bedroom was large with an incredibly comfortable king-sized bed. The kitchen was fantastic — fully equipped and perfect for preparing meals. The location is ideal, nestled in a beautiful neighborhood near the river and trails, which was perfect for outdoor activities. The spiral staircase was a bit tricky at first but easy to get used to. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for one or two people. Highly recommended!

Great place for a little pool getaway! Friendly hosts, while still having our privacy. Lovely spot in peaceful neighborhood. The place worked great, we had everything we needed in a sweet colorful and fun cottage. We hope to come back!

Overall a very nice place to stay. The home was nice and accommodated our family well. Inside of home was comfortable, clean and met all of our needs. Pros: plenty of beds, toiletries included, large kitchen with everything labeled so easy to use, great location and very responsive host. Even allowed for an extra night stay without hesitation. Would definitely stay again. Cons: exterior of home could use a bit of clean up. Although we did use the backyard pool and space, it is due for some maintenance and attention. Landscape was a bit overgrown, there were some cigarette ends lying around and one of our family members stepped on glass in a few areas. Space was still useable and as mentioned we would still return in future. Had some issues with garbage cans being full but the host was super responsive in helping troubleshoot. All in all we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to future guests. Suggestions: maybe add another large pan to kitchen and some board games to use. 😉

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of things to do within a short drive. Wei was an excellent host and was very friendly and accommodating to our party. We would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in Sacramento! It was nice to relax by the pool and to cook our meals in the lovely kitchen. We could have used a few more kitchen accessories (e.g. baking dish or pizza pans), but otherwise, it had what we needed.

Perfect accommodations, beautiful pool and garden area, close to downtown, attentive owner. Our family had a wonderful stay and will definitely look to rebook in the future. Thanks Doug.

It was a quiet place for my reactive dog. She felt safe and comfortable in the RV. As a dog reactive dog, it was easy to navigate the quiet neighborhood.

Sandeep and Pooja’s place was so easy to find. He had clear instructions on how to get inside of the home and was quick to respond, I will most definitely consider staying there once I’m back in town!! Loved it!!

Dawn's RV was clean and comfortable. I really appreciated that the place was cool the whole time (air conditioner and fans) despite the 90 degree weather. I was able to make my breakfast, including coffee, which is a must. I had a good shower and slept well. Easy check out.

The place is solid for a family that is cool staying in a bit of a hairy neighborhood. I was thankful the parking was in the far back because I was in a very expensive conversion van. It was tough to find food after 9pm... ended up finding a roach coach down the street. Place was clean inside, walls are a little scuffed up but whatever. Had a couple beverages in the fridge which is nice touch. Was a bit hot, the portable AC helped a bit... but was a bit hot in the room with fan on. Shower was nice, bathroom has toiletries in case you forget yours which is thoughtful. Deon seems like a nice host, but there's a partner who responded to me a bit snarky when I didn't understand it cost extra to bring your dog. I only saw that dogs were allowed. Told me she could charge me $250 bucks for breaking their rules but decided to just allow me to pay the $65 fee for having a dog. $410 bucks for two nights? ehh might just get a pet friendly hotel next time since I travel solo.

It felt like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Overall great stay, minor issues taken care of by host. Worked well for 5 adults and 2 teens.
