Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Carova Beach, Currituck County

This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. This home has everything you will need for a wonderful vacation-fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, wood for the firepit... we did not want for anything. We spent lots of time on the porch and it's a quick drive to the beach. I look forward to another visit!

Audrey’s quilted corners by the bay was perfect for a peaceful, relaxation vacation with my sister. We enjoyed being close to the quiet, peaceful beachfront and the bike/walking path into the state park. Highly recommend for a relaxing virginia beach experience. When we experienced issues with bugs entering the room (which is a very normal occurrence in the southern climate especially in the rain), Audrey quickly contacted us and eased our minds by spraying for bugs inside the room and outside the house. Audrey did everything she could to help. Be aware of the possibility of bugs given the nature of the climate and more wooded, residential area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely loved the home and the whole experience! Our only issue was in our arrival and not being aware that high tide would impact when you should attempt getting to the house. More information regarding the tide schedule and if the roads within the houses are accessible would be very helpful. Recommendation to stop at the grocery store before you each the beach access road and what types of things are not supplied at the house would be good, too. Overall we were so very pleased with our stay and Misty was great when we needed her. I would absolutely recommend this house to my friends and family and would love to visit again!

Jeremy’s place could not have been in a better location. Beach is beautiful and not crowded. Nice area to walk to restaurants and all of Jeremy’s recommendations were spot on. The views could not be beat. The unit accommodated us well. Maria

Not many places can be said to be better than you’d hope, but here, Russ, our host, made our stay exactly that. I could explain in detail how through good communication, stocked kitchen, cleanliness, comfortable bed, great pillows, etc. etc. but I’ll leave it at this - just check this place out, you’ll be glad you did.

Had a great stay in the tiny home! Very clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated that the home itself was in a nice private area but still very close to the beach, restaurants, and many stores. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home in a peaceful location. Farther from attractions and restaurants but perfect for families that want to cook and have more space to themselves. Beach area by the property is pristine and close enough to walk- plenty of horses to be seen without buying the tour. Highly recommend!

The house was exactly what we expected. We were able to check in a little early and the instructions were very clear. The area was super quite and peaceful. The pool, hottub and house/bathrooms were all very clean. My friends and I would definitely stay here again!

The house was very pretty and comfortable. It's close to a lot of restaurants and things to do. Katie is great and made checking in and out a breeze.

Heather and Tom were wonderful hosts and even more wonderful people. From start to finish, they made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Casa de la Luz is truly a gem: immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing, with the beach just a short walk away. When I return to OBX, checking Heather and Tom’s availability will be my first priority.

We loved this space! We stayed the night for a concert in the area and were able to walk to and from the venue which was awesome! We got to the space and everything was very nice and felt like home! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We had an amazing time in Duck! Erin’s place is right on the water and the apartment is much more spacious than I thought. Great location on the Sound with lots of shopping, coffee shops and restaurants. Driving distance to other great Outer Banks towns! We had such a wonderful time! Erin was super attentive to questions and her place was remarkable. Great find! Thank you!

The location of this Airbnb was perfect and Gia the host provided ample recommendations and helpful information making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The accommodations were just like the pictures, very clean, and the hot tub was amazing. Would love to stay here again on our next visit to OBX.

Second time here and probably not our last! Very peaceful, great quiet dock to fish or just relax. Saw tons of birds and even deer. Convenient location on the island.

Jonathan place is incredible! He has thought of everything. Very helpful! I asked about a blender and he bought one for the place. The bath is incredible! I will be staying here the next time I’m here! My cousins live in the area and they loved it too.

Dana is a wonderful host! Private, small space that is equipped with all your beach needs! Chairs, bikes, beach tote and towels for two! Dana’s place is super cute- 10 minute bike ride and plenty of beach access as well as if you choose to drive, plenty of parking at this time of the year! Lots of wonderful restaurants! Highly recommended The tale of the Whale for a nice dinner! Many landmarks including the Jockey Ridge park with spectacular views. Don’t overlook this slice of heaven! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here as a family with small children. There were only a couple other people at the condominium so the pool was always available and parking was easy. I liked how you get to park underneath the condos so your car stays shaded. The lock code to the stairwell and elevator made us feel secure. There were plenty of nice beach items to use in the storage including wagon, umbrella, and chairs. Each room had plenty of beach towels and bath towels. The walk to the beach was minimal. The only cons were loud vehicles since you are close to the road and one ceiling fan not working in a bedroom but that didn’t bother us! Overall it is a great place and exceeded our expectations!

Where to even start?! Meredith was awesome to rent from. The pictures were super accurate to the appearance of the rental. The condo was super clean and she thought of everything. We brought our three kids to the OBX and they never once said they were bored with everything she included in her place. The Sound is literally out your back door and has unmatched sunsets. The beach is less that 3 min drive away and she includes a parking pass that allows you to park super close to the access points. The town of Duck is right up the road and is a very walkable town that offers fun local shops and great dining options. Overall it was a great trip and we would highly recommend this condo to anyone.

I booked this location for our 2 year anniversary and it was an incredible stay. The view was perfect and the house was everything we needed for a few days stay. Gene was incredibly kind and even allowed us to check in early which worked out perfectly for us. The listing was just as described and honestly much more head space in the main room than we originally thought. The internet was great which was incredibly useful for our remote work. Couldn't recommend a better stay in the OBX for the price and location.

The place was exactly what we were looking for. We were in town for the Jazz Fest which was across the street, so it was perfect. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but wasn't the primary reason for our visit so it was fine. The place is really cute and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Crystal’s while in town for a graduation. Crystal was proactive with directions, recommendations, and instructions, and she responded quickly to questions. The place was nicely decorated, and well-stocked with kitchen gadgets, beach chairs, games, and other necessities. This is a nice place for a getaway.

This was our second time staying at one of Rebecca and Sean’s VA Beach condos — and the experience did not disappoint! This is just a perfect location, at the very end of the Boardwalk, with a private grassy lawn and outdoor seating just for the condo residents. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding blocks. Our favorite thing is the view — you look right out onto the ocean from the patio, and you can see the beach and the sunrise from the comfortable bed each morning. We spent unhurried hours sitting on the patio in the evenings enjoying the sound of lapping waves and the night sky. This cozy studio was just right for the two of us. Highly recommend. I’ve no doubt we’ll stay there again in the future!

This is our 3rd time staying here! Has a beautiful view, great access to the beach and a nice pool, which is so great to break up the day. We traveled with two adults and two children perfect amount of space. Little dated inside but has everything you need. We come for the location, because it’s so good! As other reviews have said there is a rental above you. We had one night of very late night noise but other than that it was a wonderful stay, we will be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully updated and nicely appointed condo on Roanoke Island. The views of the Pamlico Sound were absolutely stunning—especially at sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand. The location was perfect, just a short drive to great restaurants and the Lost Colony outdoor show. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the basics we needed for cooking. We also loved the spacious dining and living area—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!
