Cute place. Perfect for our family of 4. Close to hiking and short walk to lake. The wifi was spotty but otherwise it was great.

Violeta and her space were amazing. The house was exactly as advertised and we felt right at home for our long weekend. We are looking forward to making this a yearly visit!

Amazing place, host was super kind and accommodated my family’s last minute booking since we were cancelled on twice that week! We are super happy we found this adorable beautiful place that ended up being better than the other places would have been anyway!

This house was perfect for me and my guests! All 7 of us fit perfectly, It didn’t feel too overcrowded! We loved the beautiful view off the deck and the hot tub was an amazing touch! The house was very clean and had everything we could’ve needed. I loved how clear the instructions were for everything and how responsive the hosts are if you need anything!

We booked Trickey Moose to spend quality time with our two Maine teen grandchildren while they were on spring break. The place was perfect for our needs. The home is quite spacious yet offered each of us an element of privacy. We found the home in immaculate condition and stocked with every essential needed. The “community pantry” was a pleasant surprise and was stocked with the few incidental items we hadn’t brought along. The ping pong and air hockey tables created a friendly competition between the grandkids and grandparents. Great memories were made…. only wish we could have stayed longer.

As Mainer living across the country, it is always nice to come. Unfortunately this trip was to attend my Mom's funeral. Pam's home was the right level of closeness to the rest of my family to make visiting easy. The place was the peaceful retreat I needed to visit with myself. Five minutes to most things a person living out of a suitcase could need. Also less then 5 minutes walk puts one at the boat launch for personal watercraft. A great place to sit for a few. The amenities were plentiful at the house and the character was Maine charming. Pam was wonderful and easy to communicate with at all stages. I will be back in the future. Matt

Stayed here for 1 night to cap off a Maine coastal trip and it was a perfect place to unwind and relax. Good walkable food options and very comfortable bed.

The accommodation was cozy, spacious and clean. Parking is conveniently located next to the apartment. Communication with Gabe was prompt and helpful. I would stay here again!

Visited Feb '25 Steep stairs {a delightful New England quirk} lead to a comfortable bed, quaint views out the window. Soft cottage core vibes. Eclectic design steeping in a life well lived. Wonderful kitchen, well stocked and easy to cook in. Shower pressure is adequate. Bathroom is clean and filled with an array of books and tchotchkes. Your eyes always have something to wander and examine. It's a maximalists dream. The book shelf in the living room is filled with old books some titles are expected due to surroundings and some are just plain fun. May I recommend a game of I spy Nina is quite fantastic. A spit fire. An attentive host. Hospitable and kind. She gave it a welcoming vibe. Meeting her animals was truthfully a highlight. They are even tempered and kind. Her horse is stunning & social. The donkey a goof. The mule is oh so friendly. Sheep a bit shy but non the less beautiful. Chickens? fluffy feet! The ducks were personable. The goats, joyful. Cat, adorable. Good workin dogs.

Enjoy stay beautiful lake , lots of Restaurants, and don't forget to stop at ambitions brewery and chaos coffee I've been here 32 years it's the best place

My dog and I had a great time here and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We found lots of dog-friendly hikes and nature reserves nearby within 15-30 minutes . Otherwise we enjoyed the peaceful yard and small brook on the property. Beautiful and thoughtful rental, with very friendly hosts.

Exactly what we were looking for. Completed our Maine trip perfectly was close to everything we wanted to go do and see I would highly recommend

Very nice place! Cozy yet spacious, and perfect for working remotely. Location was perfect and the hosts were so responsive and accommodating.

My partner and I stayed here while visiting some friends in Portland and had a lovely time. After staying at Dan’s place I have higher expectations for future Airbnb stays! Besides the house’s charm, it was sooooo clean and comfortable. Though the weather was chilly and rainy during our visit, the house was cozy and we made great use of the wood stove. We did minimal cooking, but the kitchen seemed sufficient for your average meal. And honestly, the best part was not having a list of chores to complete at check-out. We would definitely stay here again!

We booked last minute and had such a relaxing one night stay here. Gorgeous little cottage with an insanely comfortable bed under the velux windows so you can look up at the trees! We loved it and it was perfect to break up our trip up the coast to Acadia. Really clean and comfortable and we loved watching TV with pizza and then playing a couple games! The bath was also very nice for a quick morning soak. Would really recommend it!

Was a nice peaceful stay for the most part. The pools were nice to swim in although it seems not everyone seemed to want to follow the pool rules. Doesn't help that there were no lifeguards to ensure kids remained safe other than the parents. A few times I saw individuals in the pool water with either glass or an open drink in hand. Saw kids diving into the pool and even witnessed a few hurt themself. But other than that, the hot tub was so lovely to soak in. The arcade room was fun to play in. It was cool to see there was a lot to be able to do in the area for yourself. Definitely wish there was more to do in the area other than the classic tourists spots. A lot of beautiful spots to hike. We ended up checking out Diana's Bath and it was a gorgeous spot to watch cascading waterfalls or have a tiny dip. Would definitely check out this space again and maybe spend a few more days to truly appreciate the environment and mountains ^-^

Hermosa, amplia y luminosa casa, con todo lo necesario para estar cómodos y recorrer Portland. En un momento tuvimos un problema con la alarma de incendios y Allyson no sólo contestó en minutos, sino que también nos dijo cómo solucionar el problema y nos dejó baterías extra para que no se repitiera. No duden en quedarse en lo de Allyson, no solo es el alojamiento ideal para una familia, sino que Allyson fue la mejor anfitriona. Muchas gracias!

We had a great time! The place was very clean, nicely maintained, and in a perfect location—just a short drive to local coffee shops and great restaurants. The surrounding nature was absolutely beautiful and made the whole trip feel relaxing and refreshing. Highly recommend!

We are a family of four and we stayed for four nights. It was larger than we expected and we were all quite comfortable. We loved that we could ski, swim, and have dinner without getting into our car on an extremely frigid (-17 degree windchill) day! It was a fun atmosphere and we loved our stay!

Great place! Close to the beach. Easy and fast communication when we needed to specify parking questions.
