The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Large 60 m2 ground floor apartment. Modern and comfortable. In a pretty village with all amenities. In winter and mid-season: this quiet apartment is ideal for hosting a couple, a small family or people on a business trip. In summer: the apartment stays very cool. The environment can be a little more lively and you can enjoy a shared terrace with barbecue and a 9x4 salt pool. As well as many deckchair spaces and garden furniture.

Possibility to put bicycles in the shelter. Food , bakery and laundromat open 7/7 7am-7:30 pm at 800m.

Located at the foot of the medieval city of Carcassonne and in a quiet area, our apartment provides all the comforts for a pleasant stay in the region. Enjoy the city of Carcassonne (festival June and July), the Cathar castles, the Canal du Midi, spend pleasant moments in the Black Mountain, tour the vineyards (Minervois, Corbière, Fitou,...) or a day at the sea... We don't have parking but parking is free in the area.

Stay in the Cottage du Manoir near Lac de la Ganguise (Entire and air-conditioned accommodation). In our large property, we offer an apartment for couples, families, and friends. It consists of a single living room with a bedroom area with a 160×200 bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a zen area with the Jacuzzi, a TV area with a sofa bed, a bathroom with shower and an outdoor area. Possibility of booking lunch baskets €50 for 2 and breakfasts €7/pers. Close to the city and the canal, 10 minutes from the city center.
