Sophie and Vesna were wonderful hosts. The food was Slovenian farm fresh and Vesna was with a good command of english had wonderful advise. Loved our stay there.

This inn was beautifully renovated - keeping all the historical charm on the outside, but modern interior with Scandinavian feel. Reber room had comfortable bed and linens, spacious bathroom. A nice porch to take in the view and an interesting wine cellar, plus local handmade crafts for sale. We were allowed access to the kitchen in the adjoining house which was very convenient and fully appointed with cookware and food basics (oil, salt, pepper). Interior stairs to the bedrooms are a little tricky if you have any mobility problems, but if you are agile they are no problem.

The apartment, at the request of the host, turned from the ground floor into a loft, but it didn't matter to us. Fully equipped, clean, with a view of the castle. Fast wifi. Parking under the cottage itself. Good communication with a friendly host. Recommended!
